Well-maintained campsite. Friendly owner. £29 per night, electricity not included. Cash only. Llanberis is 6.5 km away. Cycling is possible. From here, take a historic train up Snowdon (£60 return). You can also hike up Snowdon from there (14 km, 6 to 7 hours return). It's a lovely walk with beautiful views and not too difficult. However, it's still a 7-hour hike.

Neat campsite on spacious, well-maintained grassy pitches. Beautiful mountain views. Somewhat dated sanitary facilities. Special paved pitches for campervans on a first-come, first-served basis. Book via the website. £30 per night, excluding electricity. Take the gravel path opposite the campsite and you'll walk straight to Betws-y-Coed (1.8 km). From there, lovely walks along the river and to a small lake.

This is true camping in the great outdoors. The gravel parking lot is next to the Copper Mine. The price is £10 per night, payable at the Copper Mine shop. There are no facilities, so you'll need to be completely self-sufficient. There are lovely riverside walks. From Nant Gwynant (3.5 km), there's a 13 km, 6-hour hike up Snowdon. Beddgelert (2 km), with its legend of the hound, is also worth a visit.

A simple campsite on a farm in a neat, tidy field. A bit dated, but this is how camping should be. One toilet (we didn't actually need it), no shower, but there's a chemical toilet dump and fresh water refills (a long hose is required, 15 meters). You can pitch for £10 per night, excluding electricity. The only drawback is the noise from the highway (about 300 meters away). Therefore, not 5 stars.

If you're planning on staying in this area, you MUST stay at this campsite. The views are truly stunning. There are lovely walks (shorter (1 km) and longer (16 km) available. The toilet facilities are basic but adequate. £25 per night without electricity (electricity costs £5). It's a narrower road to get there, but you really get what you pay for.

Indeed, a great place to stay overnight to visit Cardiff and its castle. Very quiet at night. Toilets available during the day. £24.50 is really for 24 hours.

A truly lovely spot. It's right on the farm. Plenty of space at each site. No electricity, but there is fresh water and a chemical toilet. Enjoy hiking in the surrounding area. For this, walk to the Nature Visitor Center (about a 20-minute walk).

Excellent campsite with all amenities. Beautiful views. Friendly owners. We paid £42.00 for two nights without electricity. They charged an additional £13.00 per night for electricity. Nice walk to the river.

A very clean, quiet campsite. It feels like being in a park. The owner is very friendly and built this campsite himself. The showers and toilets are spotless. On July 13th, we paid £28 plus £4 for electricity. An early arrival also cost £5. There's indeed a lot of litter along the roads in the area, but there's no sign of it at the campsite itself.

This is a great CP. 6 camper places a bit invisible (pebbles) directly left when driving into the parking lot. No trouble from the refinery. very quiet and beautiful cycling environment. Free and emptying the toilet and gray water also costs nothing. only filling up with water costs a few euros. This CP is definitely recommended. Thanks to the municipality.

I think den-Ridder (previous review) is a novice camper. there should be more CPs like this.

A really great CP. Really quiet location. Friendly owner, shower and toilet neat and clean. Nice location (a bit “farm” like). Nice village of Grassington within walking distance (4km). Nice to walk in the countryside. £28.00 p.n. + electricity paid. The road to it is “exciting” (narrow), but when you stand at the gate, you will be positively surprised. Definitely recommended.

this is truly a top campsite. with £48.00 p.n. one of the more expensive ones, but everything is in order down to the last detail. There was actually no place, but they were allowed to stay in a spare spot for one night. This luxury is for once a nice change from other more basic campsites. After all, as a camper you don't often want the most luxurious, but you also often want the basic. also beautiful nature walks in the area and Keswick and Stone Circle within walking distance.

This CP is not representative of Scotland. Everything in the area was fully booked, but there was still plenty of room here. Paid £20.00 in cash, no registration, no receipt. Dirty intention. Along a busy road. Guests still arrived at 7 p.m., the employee indicated that the campsite was open until 6 p.m. So he simply sent them away. Excellent toilet, cold shower and dirty chemical toilet. No place anywhere, choose a parking space. There are plenty of them.
