Don't expect to find a campsite. It's a cluster of old caravans and prefabricated shacks used as permanent housing for people with likely housing and financial difficulties. The welcome was courteous, and the facilities were old but clean. In an emergency, you can spend two nights there to visit the city; the price is decidedly outrageous for the amenities. For two nights with electricity, €73.30! A rip-off! Avoid it.

Excellent campervan site on a beautiful rural property, 2 km from the center of Dokkum (a must-see). The rural location ensures absolute tranquility. All amenities are impeccable and well-maintained, a testament to the owners' dedication and care for their guests. The stable has a dedicated area with a wealth of information about the region, books, and local agricultural products. Thank you and congratulations to the owners.
