Very neat motorhome site. We stayed on the free field, for motorhomes under 2.10 meters. Filling up water and emptying wastewater is still possible there. It is located on a main road, so there is a lot of car traffic, especially in the mornings. The paid motorhome site is located behind a sound barrier and is further away from the road, so there is probably less noise disturbance.

I think the previous campers didn't stay at the right spot. The grassy area by the water with the picnic table is simply a public lawn. You are not allowed to park there. The camper spot described above is on the Sam Suffy campsite itself. It is a square patch of grass surrounded by high hedges on a poorly maintained campsite where there are otherwise only mobile homes.

Great place to spend the night. Nice to see the boat lift in operation, a chip shop in Ronquières itself, and waving goodbye to the local Nordic Walking club at 10 o'clock.

Beautiful spot overlooking the lake. No amenities available, but we have everything ourselves, so no problem. I think it would be wonderful in the summer, right on the water. There were also campers that we didn't see anyone in, so probably cheap storage.

A great spot for a day trip to Groningen city center. Beautiful among all those ships moored on dry land.

What a beautiful campsite. Clean, no amenities, quiet, in the woods, and clearly marked where campers are allowed to park. Some days, the restaurant at the fishing pond is also open. It's strange that other campers don't park in the camper spot, but park their campers across two regular parking spaces. Even though it's Saturday morning the next day, so it's busy.

Great place to stay for a day or night. It's a shame you can't get clean water. Waste/wastewater disposal is possible. A lovely walk along the canal is possible. Thankfully, the lights go out in the evening. No traffic noise.

A very neat and large, free campervan site on the Scheldt River. Enjoy the chimes of St. Walburga's Church every half hour, the many ships sailing past, the charming town, and sometimes the deafening trains crossing the railway bridge. But they don't run at night, and after a while you don't even hear them during the day.

Simply delightful, the last bit of the restaurant parking lot. No amenities. There are restaurants. Busy in the evenings with diners, but quiet at night.
