Nice location, good modern facilities and good quality restaurant, surprisingly cheaper than others locally. The problem was the terrain. It’s uneven and unusable after heavy rain. We were warned to park close to the access road, which we did, but it still took 1.5 hours to get off the grass! No problem in mid summer, but not in late September! PS mining museum is well worth a visit,

Go to main reception FIRST to get key card: it controls access to site and facilities. Good size pitches, clean facilities. WiFi signal weak but good in main building. Site at least 5 mins walk from reception, not ideal in pouring rain. Lot of construction work at present (Sept 2025) so some noise from this and from access road to apartments which runs directly behind site. Great thermal pool where we spent 2 hours; 20% discount on entry price.

3 terraces with views over lake, room for 4 vans on each level. Clean chemical toilets. Above the terraces are 2 glamping huts, and a nice flushing toilet/shower room, which we were told we could use, and did. Online registration and payment only. Nice path around the lake, which you can use to walk/run/cycle/fish. Bit pricey for the facilities, but great location. Don’t follow Google’s route through Gradisce village, but use bottom road.

Stayed 3 nights, the minimum allowed even in mid September. You’re mainly paying for the fabulous location. Facilities very good - clean toilets and showers, and the MH service points looked brand new. We also ate in the restaurant. This was fine but it was a surprise to get hard boiled egg and horseradish on mine! My main criticism is of the pitches. Our 7m van barely fitted on our plot which was half gravel and half mud. These need improvement

Clean site with good facilities included in the price. Surprisingly quiet given that it’s next to a road. The WiFi didn’t work, and I raised this with Camping Car Park by phone - twice - as well as sending an email. No resolution whilst we were there, hopefully it will be fixed soon. Good sized Intermarché just down the road, which also has a toilet.

Small grass site, good value for €10 inc. electricity. The manually operated chemical toilet is of the portable variety but located in a small hut and was full when we were there. Other than the number on the entrance gate which corresponds to the address given here, it’s not entirely clear that this is the correct place: don’t worry, it is! just look out for the multi national flags.

Good site, where we spent 3 nights. Quiet and flat, mixture of gravel and grass. €10 includes use of heated outdoor swimming pool and facilities when open. Also free Wi-Fi. Small cafe open in the afternoon. Fresh water and electricity extra.

The new service point has been installed but is not yet working (10/10/2022). However water is available from a tap about 50m away. A railway runs directly behind the site, but just a few local trains and none at night.

Great facilities as per other reviews. €1=2kw/h electricity. We heeded warnings and arrived ‘early’, ie midday, to find the Camperstop already full with 2 more waiting. We decided to wait too, and within 15 minutes got a space. Either the previous night’s visitors were slow to move on, or some were staying for an hour or two only. It’s now 6pm and still 2 places left (it’s a Sunday).

June 2019 - top half of the site is currently fenced off for storage of construction materials but no signs to indicate why or for how long. In the end we found a level and slightly quieter spot just over the small bridge on the other side of the stream. We stayed at a weekend so no workmen, but might be a problem during the week.

We really liked it and stayed 3 nights over a weekend. Now has electricity too. There's also a tap but not clear if it's potable. Also now a notice on toilet door saying you have to register in advance at the Mairie and pay €5 per night. But Mairie was closed and no one came to check! Beautiful village, great bakery, and check out the oldest working 'real' tennis court (Trinquet) in the world!

Nowhere on either car park is level but with ramps the gradient is tolerable. Toilet is functioning but looks disgusting.

The most level places are down in the bottom section, either facing the sea or on the left. However avoid the water treatment plant on the left as it is noisy if you're right next to it. No road noise but plenty of wind noise!

Not self service as the disposal point is up a ramp behind the petrol station inside a large bus garage. But the friendly staff very happy to show you where to go. Disposal is under a large steel plate in the garage floor. Water available but we did not use it.

Stayed 2 nights and found it quieter than expected, despite roads, railway and river. Great for access to spas on opposite bank, and a good 15 mins cycle route into Ourense.

Really good value and well placed to get bus into Porto. Good size but uneven pitches. Narrow access roads with high curbs in places. Facilities old but working fine, including hot showers. No wifi although this is apparently planned for 2019. 10amp electricity available in one section.

Really peaceful spot on the banks of the Douro. Popular with locals on Sunday afternoon but super quiet at night and well lit. Useable toilet as well.

Off road parking next to Restaurant Cais da Foz. Shown as camper parking on Google Maps but not at the site and used by cars as well. Noisy evening with cruise ship parked in front and coached delivering passengers, then refuse collection at 11.30pm. Quiet from midnight onwards. Also possible to park further along the road as indicated by photos, but sometimes coaches park here too.

Level and spacious and easy cycling to the beautiful city centre. Toilets & wifi in Repsol filling station. Try and park away from any lorries or local fish vans in the car park or road immediately behind (Calle Tercera), as they can run their engines or leave during the night.

Great place and very friendly owner, quiet at night. We stayed 2 nights. Shower, toilets and washing machine block due to be opened on 20 April, but we left on 19th! Toilets in petrol station. It's free to stay but if you fill up with fuel you can get a free token to use for water.

Very convenient for town centre and quiet at night. Now properly marked places and a notice board. Tudela well worth a visit and a special mention to the multilingual Tourist office lady who was so helpful.

Very quiet when we visited, the only camper on site. It had rained a lot during the previous week so approach track was muddy but not impassable. Toilets open and in good condition but showers permanently out of use.

Great free (in April) quiet spot for a couple of nights with 10amp electricity. Toilets and showers at swimming pool. Check out restaurant Malena, a Michelin star restaurant on the edge of the tiny village, if you're feeling wealthy. Fantastic food!

Quiet at night but busy with passing school buses morning and afternoon. A steep climb up from Cassis by bike but not much further than Camping Les Cigales and a good free option.

Some road noise but not too bad. Separate chemical disposal point was blocked so we used the grate in the ground. Best feature was the Panificio Mancini just behind the site: it is also a cafe and has a toilet.

Parking was empty when we arrived on Sunday but was full with commuters by 9.30am on Monday. Some parked in the camper spaces and one even on the waste discharge point! Quiet at weekends and evenings.

There is a mandatory charge of €10/day. On arrival you are required to send an SMS to a number given on the notice board. In March the site was overgrown and clearly had not been used for some time. Water and electricity were switched off. We did not stay.

This parking does exist, but coordinates should be: 40°9'4"N, 18°4'22"E. Large car park divided into different areas. There is a (dirty) toilet which was open, but no other facilities.

We stayed here for a couple of hours to visit city centre, which is nearby. Parking was empty and free in March but it would be noisy to stay here overnight.

Ok but not as impressive as we'd hoped. Very close to beach but pitches are small and our private toilet had no seat or wash basin. Punta Braccetta is just campsites and polytunnels. ACSI price €17 + €1 shower. We much preferred La Spiaghetta in Sampieri, bigger pitches and just €14 low season.

Very large mixed parking with shaded trees but no facilities, quiet and empty in winter, ideal for visiting town centre and seafront.

There are 3 places for campers in this immediate area. The first one is nearest steps up to Ibla and has 5 spaces, but is sloping (see photos). The second is further up on the other side of the road inside a hairpin bend and is level. The third is the quietest and also level and is designated for campers on the town map. It is set back below the rocks near a waterfall (36°55'25'', 14°44'4'').

Very helpful manager who also likes to specify where you should park. Quiet with little road or dog noise. Facilities as described including hot water in showers were fine in February but might struggle a bit with a full campsite. €13 per night inc electricity with ACSI but we decided to stay a week, which worked out at €12 per night.

Good site with big level pitches in between lemon trees which offer some privacy in winter but little shade in summer. Wifi coverage good with strong signal but unaccountably dropped from time to time. Clean facilities with hot water in showers and washbasins. Showers now €2. We paid €38 for 2 nights with electricity which seems slightly expensive for February

Opened March 2017, clean & modern with 10 spaces under a roof with good wifi, 2 toilets & 1 hot shower. Very secure with 2 automatic gates & CCTV. Friendly owner. We paid €13 plus electricity

Not the most modern but good value at €8 per day for a week from October to May, plus electricity at €0.35/kw. Even less for monthly stay. Popular but quiet site in sight of Etna.

We stayed 2 nights. This was originally a good Area sosta camper which has been neglected. Electricity no longer works and toilets removed. Just water still available. But it is in a quiet area and otherwise fine.

Quiet and secure site in an industrial area close to town centre. Simple gravel yard but plenty of power outlets and clean waste facilities. Gate locked when we arrived but we called owner who came in 2 mins. Toilets clean and nice hot water in semi-outdoor showers

Jan 2018: Parking little used with much grass over concrete. Ticket machine out of use. Quiet, level and close to centre. We stayed 2 nights.

New site opened May 2017. Great site near village centre, level pitches. Open all year, in December barrier was down and no instructions how to access. A local policeman and a council worker from the depot opposite tracked down keys. Otherwise we would have gone to the local government office, address here: http://www.comune.nusco.gov.it/page.aspx?id=areacamper. We weren't charged for our stay.

Level parking and generally quiet, apart from one night when the nearby nightclub was playing very loud music. Good free wifi by the local authority is very worthwhile.

New camperstop. Very steep approach road but 10 level grass pitches which can be slippery when wet. Excellent new sani block inc. washing machine and hot water. Fresh water and grey/black waste. There were even seats on the toilets! Wifi out of order during our 4 night stay over New Year. A little way out of the village, no nearby shops. Hosts a friendly young couple, Italian speaking only.

Transport & storage yard which also offers limited camper facilities: elec, water, waste water and toilet. Web Autoparcoricucci.it wrongly claims there's a shower. Noisy daytime/evenings but quiet until lorries start again about 6am. They quoted €8 or €10 with electricity by email, but owner tried to insist on €10/€12, despite being shown his email. OK for 1 night but hard to recommend.

Very friendly owner and son who cook great simple food. Level asphalt parking with electric and water at each spot. Fairly quiet and open all year. All bathroom facilities in one room. Tip: shower drains very slowly, so be prepared for bathroom to flood when showering. Squeegee mop provided!

Stayed 2 nights. Reasonably quiet at night but car park fills up on Saturdays. Water and waste in top right corner. Lift up to old town and toilets are only open sporadically.

In theory open all year but no sign of life when we arrived. To get in you need a card but no one to get it from. Open air showers. Only €6/12hours in low season but in practice you're likely to stay 18 hours or more, so €12, which is not quite such good value

Main attraction is free electricity and level hard standing. Road noise not intrusive . Wifi only works near cafe on other side of the embankment. Good for cycling along river to Ferrara

Not to be as good as expected. One toilet block opened up for us, female side only, no hot water in sinks and showers barely warm enough to use. As others have reported, only one electricity distribution point: not a problem when no one else is there, but you'd need a very long cable in high season. However, perfectly located for Paklenica NP. Overall, not good enough for €16 in low season.

Very friendly welcome and helpful hostess. Very low season so just the small toilet block open. Showers good but only enough hot water for 1 good shower then wait 20/30 mins to reheat. Stayed 3 nights to visit Krka NP.

We have been travelling continuously all over Europe for 7 months and this is the best site so far. Very clean heated sanitary block, hot water for washing, showers and washing dishes. Water on each pitch and very friendly staff. Would have scored 10 except for wifi: signal strong but quality variable, and new code needed every day. Excellent low season value: €12/night for 3 nights or more!

Only the showers have hot water, but they were good. Helpful and friendly staff. €10 - €1 for ACSI = €9 per night in November, including electricity. Fantastic value!

Facilities are fine and clean but showing their age. Very friendly and helpful hostess. Half of campsite was inaccessible when we visited as they are doing major tree pruning. There won't be as much shade next summer!

Flat pitches and well shaded. Very clean stainless steel sanitary facilities. 2 kitchens plus washing room and chemical disposal room. Recommended.

They have a website: http://familiacamping.hu/ although this wrongly states the site a open all year. Site closes on 30 September but the owner kindly let us stay in mid October for 5 days. This was at her discretion.

Good location by bike path and very friendly owner. Open until end of October, and (one of) the only sites in the area still open.

Agree with previous comments. Just to add that there is a boot sale (Flohmarkt), on the last Sunday of every month, which occupies almost the whole car park. We didn't know in advance, arrived the day before and awoke to find ourselves cordoned off. Would've been tricky to get out if we'd needed to...

Grass field which drains quickly after rain. Excellent sanitary facilities and very well maintained, but you have to get used to the (friendly) owner fussing round after you and insisting on cleaning the shower after every use, even if the next user is your wife! Don't try to book by email or by phoning the English/German number mentioned on the website, call the Polish speaking number.

Congratulations to the local tourism office for creating this site and to woodcock.nl for finding it! Perfect stopover on our way to the Tatras, but lots of local interest too. Big map on side of pavilion gives more info about what to see in the area.

Good value with lots of facilities and restaurant. Toilet and shower were not clean and smelt mouldy but we're useable and water was hot. Toilet in restaurant much better. Also wifi in restaurant.

Lovely spot by the waterfront, busy at the weekend with families going to the zoo, but quiet during the week.

Good facilities - water, chemical disposal, restaurant, supermarket, fuel, free wifi - and plenty of space. Only drawback is canned music playing from external speakers across parking whilst services are open, which is from 06.00 - 24.00. Park at the far end!

No facilities but wonderful location and views of Nyksund harbour and the sea beyond

Good overnight stop, with little noise from road and clean facilities. Flat and level asphalt surface much appreciated!

There are now a few free electricity connections here, but not enough for everyone so arrive early! This may be connected with a bigger redevelopment of other parking spaces in the area , so not sure how long the electricity will remain gratis.
