We found the signage to the campsite confusing. Upon arrival, we immediately felt comfortable in our chosen spot. You can empty the chemical toilet at every pitch (never experienced that before). The sanitary facilities are adequate, and there is also a washing-up area. Wonderfully quiet on the upper pitches…

Pleasantly surprised to meet the Dutch-speaking receptionists. You are given three choices upon arrival. In most places, tall trees provide shade on hot days. However, these can also cause inconvenience, such as linden trees dropping their fruit or pines leaving resin on your tarpaulin or bike... but the location relative to the beach makes up for a lot.

We stayed here for two summer days. The trees provide much-needed shade, and taking a dip in the pool after a lovely day of cycling makes the day complete. Spacious pitches that you can choose yourself upon arrival. Close to the beautiful little harbor with the colorful cabins. We received the necessary information about the cycling facilities on the island. It is a real added value to get started with a map. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the bird concert in the green arena! The shade of the trees offered us protection from the heat of the moment. The shower was welcome after the morning walk near the village. The ruins in the nearby neighborhood were a bonus. We felt completely at ease!

Perfect as a campervan site! You can empty your toilet and water and use electricity. The village is an ideal base for hikes to the Wutach Gorge using the hiking bus on weekends and public holidays. The Japanese garden nearby is a real gem… minor downside: nighttime noise from the pool pump.

Since the availability of camper pitches is rather limited in this region, we ended up here. For 45 euros per night, you do expect a bit more comfort. The pitches are uneven and there is little space, and therefore little privacy around the camper. The reception only opens at 14:30. We were, however, received in a friendly manner.

Very good campsite! It's a shame there's roadworks on the cycle path along the Loire to Blois. The detour is along a busier route. According to information signs, these works will last until 2027.

Great place with all amenities for 8 euros… where else can you find that? When we arrived on Sunday afternoon, the payment machine where you have to get the code to drive in was without paper. We were helped by calling the number mentioned on the sign next to the machine. Within walking distance of the center.

The campsite, located 8 km from Nördlingen, is more than worth a detour. For 25 euros you have all the immaculate comfort. The wifi is not strong enough on the camper site but it works at the office.
