Have used the aire several times now and agree with most of the previous reviews. Close to beach and town , ideal overnight stop for ferry or tunnel . Please be aware the ticket machine will only accept Credit Cards, it declines Debit Cards. I queried this with reception who confirmed.

A large aire, good security and close to town, ideal for ferry or Le shuttle.

Large parking places with nice views. Perfect for walking or cycling into town.

This used to be a pleasant place but not today, it was a muddy smelly camp ground , horse shit everywhere , borne was broken, no water .and they charge 17euro for the privilege. we left and went to the aire by the marina.

A big aire that is always busy but if you arrive late morning , early afternoon you should get a place. Electricity is only 5A and on the 8 socket bollard beside us only 5 we’re working , obviously the others had been overloaded and tripped the CB , there is no way of resetting , the box is locked and no one came around or was available to ask to reset. New barriers are being installed , this is a better system and will stop the freeloaders.

I emailed Capbreton Tourist office and asked about the opening times.. Reply >> The camping car area is open all year long. Do not hesitate to contact us again for more information if need be. Our Website www.capbreton-tourisme.com can also help you in your research. Sincerely. The reception service.

Good aire close to shops and beach . Bourne does not have flushing water to rinse cassette toilet which is not very hygienic . Pay machine only takes euros.

A long slow process to check in, very tedious, took us almost an hour. It is an excellent location for visiting the city, we had a riverside plot that was very pleasant.. Showers and toilets are old and in need of upgrade. Most pitches are sloping and require leveling ramps. Expensive for what is a basic site. Wifi only working near the office.. it was slow.

Good clean facility, about 1km from the Wire.. easy to find..

Fantastic location, nice big plots , plenty of space for the largest motorhome, more like a camping site than an aire.. which of course it once was..

A busy dusty aire, with some grassy places and if your lucky, you may get space to sit out .. Worth a visit and we will return.

One of the best municipals we have used.. great location, good showers, nice size pitches, inexpensive, friendly staff, what more could you ask for.. ?

We visited without the motorhome to see what it was like.. so not an overnight stay. Even though the car park was full, there were three spaces left for motorhomes, however, (see photo) there was a 'travellers' caravan parked with a gas bottle outside.. only 10 min walk to town and the Abbey gardens and Cathedral.. a good selection of shops and eateries.. excellent street market on Saturdays

excellent aire, which we used in August 2008 .. It has plenty of space for the biggest motorhome. Quiet and peaceful with nice walks.. Useful supermarket with friendly staff.. on my list of 'must revisit ' ..

Great aire, quiet and peaceful. Excellent for a one or two night stop en route south. The adjacent Pizza restaurant is excellent and good value.. Village is worth a walk round with some lovely old buildings and church... On our list of favourite aires..
