Cozy camper place with all facilities. Shower and toilet are very clean. There is also the possibility to BBQ. At 9:00 the baker comes by. Behind the CP is the river Esla where it is nice to walk with (or without) dog. Big compliment for the super friendly owners.

Indeed a picturesque place where the cycle path Ecopista do Dão passes (30 km to Viseu). Nice eatery with delicious snacks and pancakes. Strange that nobody mentions the screeching parrots (several) in the houses directly opposite. The hellish noise made us move to another place (hence 2*). Busy in the weekend.

3 stars for proximity to historic city. 0 stars for parking with lots of litter. Desolate place.

I asked the question to the Toledo police and received the following answer: You can park your camper (and spend the night in it) but you cannot camp, i.e. you cannot put out chairs, table or awning. There is NO sign 'forbidden for campers' at the entrance; the sign 'no acampar' (camping). I don't know where Fryskeman44 gets its information from. Plenty of room if you arrive after 7pm.

I fully agree with the previous review. Therefore only 2**. Meanwhile 20€/night.

Spacious pitches, good and clean sanitary facilities. Nice to sleep with the sound of the sea in the background. We have not experienced the widely acclaimed owner as friendly; rather as patriarchal and peasant.
