Stopped for one night. There had been excessive rains throughout France making it difficult for campers to use grass. We were well looked after and parked in the driveway, whilst three other vans parked on the private road and by the barn to ensure we all had electricity and shelter. Perfect host who couldn’t do enough to help. Facilities are good enough for the bargain price of €10, hot shower, hot plate, microwave etc. Return soon!

Enroute to Spain we had made a prior booking with Maureen, who is Dutch but speaks perfect English. A perfect host who enjoys providing camping for us all. Ultra clean toilets and shower in one block. We parked on the driveway as many pitches had suffered from excessive rain. Plans are afoot to create hard style standings. Enjoyed our brief visit, but will be back.

Having first visited Ondres Plage which closed due to flooding, we came here seeking shelter from stormy weather. You have to join ‘Camping-Car Park through ‘Pass’Etapes’. There is a machine at the entrance allowing you to ‘join’. It accepts Visa, Mastercard etc. Once paid it issues a card which when scanned at the barrier permits entry. The ground was badly waterlogged, but we found a level pitch near the toilet block. Just plug in for electric.

We visited the site today 21/12 hoping to rest overnight, however, the entrance is barred due to flooding. It is temporarily closed. There is a huge pool before the entrance.
