The area is in a lovely park but it's just a standard car park with small car sized spaces. Also it's hardly a village, it's a busy town, so as there's no dedicated area for us to park why bother?

Plenty of level, illuminated hard standing parking in this slightly odd small village. Lots of small single story houses cramped together overlooking large open areas! It's in the middle of nowhere but quite busy with HGV's. It's quirky and I like it!!

A large slightly sloping blocked area capable of around 30 Vans being parked on it. Overlooked by apartments which help with security and overlooking a stream and fields with cranes nesting in a tree. Overall, a good stop over, well done to the village for providing it.

Let's face it, the designated area is awful and begs the question..Is the town interested in auto caravans? Even the lady in the Tourist office was seemingly uninterested. When I consider the effort some places put into attracting us (Estarreja-€2 for 2 days with EHU. Souselo- free inc EHU AND hot shower..) I can't bring myself to recommend the site if the town doesn't try to.

As a free mixed parking area, this is very good . Lovely walks along the prom and very quiet overnight.

The old historical quarter of town is lovely, pity the Aire isn't better. It's functional and the large adjacent cinder car park was empty but very soggy.

Full Mark's to the town for initiative. The free Aire is neat, tidy and has free EHU. It's right in the centre of town too, not hidden away behind some old buildings. The only drawback I can see, is that it's adjacent to the skate board park. Not an issue in mid December, but may be in the summer. Well worth a visit, and I'm guessing that is the intention of the town....

Largely as described by others, with a twin Bourne area, and separate fresh water taps. Nice boarded walks to large open surfers beach and smaller cove beach. a couple of cafe/bars but nothing else.

Confusingly, google maps says 'you're here' next to the hotel car park, as shown in the first photo. You need to drive up past the No Entry signs to the parking area, which has fabulous views across to town and beaches.

Simple shale car park overlooking very popular surfers beach. Great north facing sea views, no services except rubbish bins.

The Aire and service area is up a slight track to the left of the road 100m before the beach. It has black and grey waste and a single tap. However, there is a drinking water tap and beach shower unit next to the lifeguard station on the beach. Lovely view across the bay if parked facing beach.

Only the larger of the car parks can be used by Camper Cars. Great view over the surfers beach and nice walks.

A free (for 2019) Aire a 10 minute walk from a lovely historical town with usual shops/bars etc. Quiet night and very well illuminated.

A free Aire with free EHU! lovely level walks/cycle tracks through small holdings alongside river. Gentle 5 minute stroll into town. No camping allowed but benches available. Aire alongside cycle track so has passing traffic but overall a great stop over.

Overpriced. essentially a sloping tarmac car park next to a railway line and no view. Also too far from town centre. Avoid.

First impressions count and sadly they weren't good as the route to the Aire is tatty. However, once there there is lots of room and plenty of space for dog walking etc. Trains not any louder than a passing car would be so not an issue. Drive over grey drain, black waste outlet and separate cold tap for fresh water. Sandy surface so well drained but without shade.

A small tarmac area next to a grassy children's play area. Only room for 5 or so units but perfectly fine for an overnight stop. Usual small town shops and bars in local vicinity.

Functional but without dedicated camper places it's just another car park, which is a shame as the necessities are here.

Plenty of room adjacent to the sports complex and river/parkland. The Aire is near to the Marie and the small town has the usual bars, shops and a laundrette. First impressions on arriving are not that good, but leave the Aire and cross the footbridge over the stream for lovely walks.

A lovely quiet site, however there's no radio or data signal which may be an issue to some.

A lovely pub on the canal that serves a choice of real ales and good food. Not sure its worth more than a 6 as there's no servicing facilities of any kind, just a tarmac car park.

A nice small (4) hard standing bays next to a canal. Aldi and a launderette ( next to library on main road) within walking distance. Pleasant view along canal if you ignore the industrial buildings opposite :-)

A well maintained free Aire on the outskirts of a small town. 150 litres of free drinking water if you have a garden hose push type connector. 15 mins easy walk into town and a 2 hr. signed walk from the Aire. The donkey and French hens made it even more interesting.

A small sloping area on a large car park. Only enough room for 5 or 6 units in reality. Nice market town within walking distance.

sloping tarmac parking which as it's always busy, could easily be extended or underused trailer parking area utilised. Aire next to small sailing club, a nice bar/cafe and a lovely sandy beach perfect for paddling. Good cycling around the large lake.

An out of (small, plain) village (without a real centre or shops ) dedicated parking area. Picnic tables and WC block with external shower which was clean and serviceable. No other Moho services. OK for a night if you're passing but not worth a detour.

Full by mid afternoon, which surprised me as I've stayed at free canal side places for free... Walks along canal but the town is quite a hike away. It's OK here, but I can't see the value.

A neat well maintained free Aire 20minutes walk from a lovely village with small Carrefour and bakery.

The toilet block now has a grey water dump (bucket, not drive over) and a water tap between the showers.

A quiet spot next to a stream. Lovely walk up to the source of the Lison but does it warrant €5 just to park....??

A well maintained grassy aire in a tiny Hamlet. lovely views and walks, the only downsides are traffic noise (quiet overnight) and that there are no shops, bars, etc etc, but there is a bread vending unit 50m away at the Marie.

Drive 100m past the aire and park alongside the Rhône! Lovely and peaceful with activities for young and old alike. Nice wander into the charming town.

Really lovely family aire, with swimming in the natural pool. Shops and bars in village a couple of minutes away with wooded hills as a backdrop. Come early! I arrived at 11.00 hrs to take the last space, and the only non French van.....

A free aire that also has EHU. Beautiful scenery, a good walk to the river with lots of walks/cycle trails next to a very neat, clean small village. I would have given it a 10 if it were not sited next to the recycling bins

Terrible place. very dusty from road working debris and surface very broken.

A dump. very sloping and used for storing road work chippings, avoid.

Barrier still not fitted, so free. close to main road do daytime traffic noise. tumbling stream noise over night :-)

A typical resort area, a lovely sandy beach and lots of bars and eating places. Everything is based on sitting on the beach and eating and drinking in the bars.

Basically a large tarmac commuter car park, charged at €3/day. It sits about a 20 minute walk from a pleasant hill side town. OK for a night if you're local, but I wouldn't go out of your way to get here....

A random small quiet and tranquil sosta hidden away in between apartment buildings. Only just about illuminated and there is a small charge for EHU. There's a portaloo and cold shower. Too expensive for what it is normally, but this is Pompei.....

****** WARNING. ****** 2.5m height restriction on leaving. The one way system to the car park doesn't indicate this. The only way back if you are over 2.5m is 200m going the wrong way on a one way street. On the plus side there is a tap on the car park.

As there are 4 parking areas, the best is the one across the road from the bar/pizzeria. There is a grey waste dump on the disused sosta but water not working. The sulphur spring is good, which is St the top parking area.

A huge free and level sandy gravel parking area. bars and restaurants here but nothing else. In Spain there would be 100 vans here and not just me!

The town is very reminiscent of a Yorkshire or Welsh mining village in that on a cool evening there are lots of coal fires burning! The town is sited on a hill and is next to fabulous trekking routes. With free EHU and WI-fi it's well worth a visit

A very peaceful and shaded large mixed parking area next to a dam on the outskirts of a pleasant village. Lovely walls/cycle tracks with information and leaflets from Information desk in Ayunmiento. well worth €2/night (payable in Ayunmiento)

Delightful quiet town with little treasures around each corner. The monastery is wonderful and the backdrop spectacular, but the little Carp pond in town is a quaint retreat.

I'm giving this a high score because of where it's sited and not necessarily what the Aire is like. The Aire itself is a large, flat rectangular area with gravel, next to a small river and facing the historic quarter which is well worth exploring, especially the narrow back streets. Facing the entrance to the parking area is an Eroski and a Dia supermarket as well as the usual bars etc. Delightfu

A basic rough gravel Aire with good views over the plain. The small mainy stone built town is a walk up a steep hill, as are the small local supermarket and bars.

A slightly odd Aire within the municipal compound that they must use for large outdoor gatherings as it boasts 9 built in BBQs and seating on concrete benches for around 150 people! shade provided by lots of young trees, too low to park under. The tiny village has a local size supermarket that has everything you'll need. Very rural with lots of passing farm tractors and trailers, but I liked it.
