We were here on January 6th, and it was noticeable because the water pipes were frozen. Luckily, we had plenty of bottled mineral water with us 🤭 The location relative to the village is good, as you can reach the bakery and other shops within 10 minutes. It's also a great place for walking and dog walking.

New campsite from Camping Car Park. The location is beautiful and not too far from Autun. What stands out compared to many other campsites operated by this organization is that chemical toilet emptying and water collection/refilling are NOT at the campsite itself, but about 100 meters away! If you plan to stay at the campsite for an extended period and want to fill up on water, you have to leave the campsite. So, it's best to arrange this BEFORE you arrive. We weren't bothered by traffic or the cemetery 🤭

Were the first visitors to this campsite. It's a good campervan site for those passing through. Electricity and water are included for €13. There are no toilet and wastewater disposal facilities. Upon arrival, drive past the first gated entrance and, seeing the grooming salon sign, turn right into the yard and find your spot. It's a good place to walk your dog.

Top-notch campsite. Everything you need as a camper is there, even a shower and a single toilet. I don't understand why some campers keep complaining about this. Do you think that's not enough? Should you stay away, or should you just use the toilet in your own camper? Emptying the cassette is a breeze here! If you have a dog, there's a great dog-walking area across the road through the fields. Add to that the many cycling routes, and your stay will be a real pleasure.

Forget Goch, Kleve, and Kevelaer because this is the place to be! What a fantastic campsite. Very spacious, paved pitches (€12 per night) in a quiet area with good facilities for water and chemical toilet disposal. Need electricity? €0.80 kW. Grab your bike and ride along the "German Line" (old railway line) to Xanten. The cycling junctions also invite you to explore the area. Don't speak the language? The manager speaks Dutch. Easy, right? :)

What a fantastic campsite! Spacious, paved pitches on a quiet road, excellent facilities for greywater collection and disposal, and finally, easy disposal of the toilet cassette. Add to that the many cycling opportunities and a good dog walking area across the street, so what more could you ask for? Oh yes, there are no showers or toilets, but those are in your campervan anyway. It also helps with reviews: there was no toilet paper!

What a fantastic campsite! Very spacious pitches (15 pitches) where you won't have to worry about a lack of showers or toilets without toilet paper. No, you're completely self-sufficient here, and that's what a campervan is for! Add to that a beautiful (forest) setting and a choice of sun or shade. Willy, such a friendly owner, already has a list of improvements for next year (electricity, new dump station, etc.), so here's to winning Campercontact 2026!

What a great CP with a very nice - good English speaking - owner. Find a spot on the large lawn yourself and enjoy the rustling of the trees. Costs are still Dkk 50 or € 7 and, as already described, there are no facilities. You don't need that with a camper anyway 😏

New, very quiet campsite with large pitches. Check-in procedure as follows: Park camper at information board with prices in 3 languages. Walk to caravan with conservatory, located on the left behind barrier. Show ACSI card, determine number of nights, pay (debit card or credit card) p.n. Dkk 141 or € 21 and receive code card. Walk back to camper, open barrier with code card and then enjoy your stay.

What a particularly beautifully situated and very quiet campsite. Find a very spacious spot yourself and report to reception between 17:00 and 19:00. Easy, right? Dog owners can indulge themselves here. The dog forest is next to the campsite and the fjord - gently sloping - is approx. 500m away. We initially wanted to go to the CP at the marina but are very happy that we eventually chose this ACSI campsite (only €21 all-in p.n. in low season).

Yet another incredibly beautiful CP in Germany. All places are very spacious, very quiet and you can also enjoy the clatter of the stork couple with their young. That is really enjoyable. Add to that that you are here for € 8 p.n. (excl. electricity at € 2.50), the owners - also grandma - are very hospitable then 5 stars very well deserved. Oh yes. € 10 for sanitary facilities too expensive? There is a campsite further on, 'slightly' more expensive so .....

No idea what campers mean by a parking space because this is a CP where only campers are allowed to stand. You can choose between a very large, very well maintained, grass field or at the sanitary building - cleaned every day - on a paved surface. It is quiet here 24 hours a day, except in the weekend when the steam locomotive makes its rounds. For € 10 you can stand here on a great CP that no one can complain about

There are so many great CPs in Germany that are both cheap and fantastically located. This is one of them! 20 large, quiet, paved, places for € 10 with/without electricity (coins!!) and with a view of the Weser. Add to that the many bicycle and dog walking options, so what more could a REAL camper want. No one can really complain here

What a great CP with Lysette and Willem that is equipped with all conveniences. We stayed here for two nights and enjoyed the peace and from the CP you can cycle fantastically here. Campers who love the ORIGINAL Indonesian kitchen, until the end of October you can still go to 'de Eisseshof'. Highly recommended! Oh yes, one shower maybe not enough when fully occupied? Then go to a campsite or use your own d/t!!

What a great CP, equipped with - for those who need all that - three showers/or toilets. You can make beautiful cycling junction routes from here (cycling at night in the covered parking) and if you want to go shopping, Sneek and Joure are both 6 km away. If you want something exclusive made of leather, Greta's shop offers plenty of home-made articles for very attractive prices. Greta and Ben are top owners, so off to CP Pontdijk

Fantastic Camping-Car CP with spacious pitches. To the very nice and cozy town - with many nice and special shops and Saturday morning market - you walk in 5 minutes. Information from Hafo unfortunately is not correct. There are 10 paved - see info board - and 38 on grass. Electricity is available on all pitches. For campers who do have their own d/t but prefer to use those on the CP: these are closed from 01.10.24 to 31.03.25.

Unbelievable what people judge CPs on. Complaining about the church bells ringing and the pitches not being level. If that is the biggest problem? It is a great CP with showers and toilets that are cleaned every day. The village is definitely worth it! Maybe walked to the end of the CP? The epicerie sells all sorts of things and is open every day except Sunday, but they also serve lunch here.

Great CP. Not only because it is free but there are facilities for chemical toilet and - for a fee - water intake and waste containers. Many CP guests stay there for a night but probably forget to visit this particularly beautiful fortified town. In the Netherlands we have Boertange but this is certainly also worth it. Do you have a dog? Great walking possibilities.

CP has indeed been moved to a new location so you can enter with 'Pass Etappe' or buy a 'lifetime pass' on the spot. It's a fantastic system. We had some problems with the coordinates and because of roadworks in the city. Our advice: follow the signs 'air de camping-car' and you will be guided to it. CP has 15 places, some on asphalt, some with driving plates in the grass. CP is often used as a passage CP

We are here with our camper at Camping Minicipale for € 13.44 per night, this includes two people and electricity (dog is free)! Places are large and at night it is wonderfully quiet. Camping looks very neat and is very well maintained. Enter and exit the campsite with a code.

Very quiet campsite with lots of greenery and exceptionally large pitches. Sanitary facilities look perfect. Despite an earlier review: campsite does have its own service station with good facilities! Cycling to Nemours (3km.) is recommended. Village itself is nothing special. Bridge over right: small supermarket, bridge over left good bakery. With ACSI rate an excellent campsite for several nights.

Nice, quiet, Camping Municipale with large pitches. There is not much to do in the village itself but there is a grocery store for bread, among other things. Of course cycling - both ways - along the Canal de Briare is a 'must' and of course a visit to the seven locks. Price 2024 for camper with 2 people, electricity and tax only € 12.90 p.n. !! Do you have a dog? Walking is great. Through the adjacent park and along the canal. Costs € 0 !!

Still - first time here was 2011 - a great Cp. Nice cycling on the Voie Verte to Bernay (26km there and back) and we can walk our dog perfectly here. The only difference is that there is now a payment machine. € 12.50 including electricity and water! That is a very pleasant price

Beautiful CP with indeed a very friendly hostess. Upon arrival we asked for the price without electricity, which also turned out to be € 13,--. On the day of departure she came to us with a hundred apologies. She had given us incorrect information. The price without electricity was € 10,--. In the meantime we had already paid but immediately got € 3,-- back. She didn't have to say anything because this price is not mentioned anywhere. Honesty still exists!!!

Stayed here for two nights. As previously written, it is a simple campsite with a railway line right next to it, but we were not bothered by it. No experience with the sanitary facilities, have our own d/t. Price for a camper with 2 people excl. 220V is € 16,-- p.n., including - don't be alarmed - € 22,-- p.n. Glad we have solar panels

Read all the reviews and then you will know enough. What a great place!!!! Come to CP Giethmen and enjoy everything. Cycling, walking - great with the dog - and don't forget the enormous hospitality of Anita and Nico (and Coda, their dog). Five ☆☆☆☆☆ is not enough so we give ☆☆☆☆☆☆ and that is more than deserved. Never double, but we will definitely come back here!!!!

You feel like you are at the end of the world here. What a great location with lots of space and, above all, tranquility, which is partly due to the fact that the campsite is located on a dead end road. Don't forget to cycle here and the ferry will take you to beautiful Workum with the famous Jopie Huisman museum within 15 minutes. Add to that the very nice owners and you feel at home here. And if you have a dog, walking is no problem!

If you don't find the sanitary part the most important but you do appreciate peace and quiet - don't expect any play equipment here, etc. - and space, then this is the right place. Add to this that the campsite is very centrally located and has very reasonable prices by Texel standards, in other words, forget De Koog, Den Burg and Cocksdorp and book Ora et Labora. You will have no regrets

Top campsite on the edge of the Veluwe with Bas as a very friendly owner. However, the review above states something completely incomprehensible, but perhaps they were at a different campsite? Cycling is great, but walking: only tight roads. Hello?? Opposite the campsite is 100m. distance from the entrance to a forest and what can one do in a forest? That's right, WALKING!!!!! Maybe ask Bas for advice next time?

Great camping municipale. Very large pitches and that for € 11.75 for 2 people. + dog excl. electricity. Previous reviews stated, among other things, that there was only one bakery and that everything in the town was closed. No idea what this information is based on - been to another campsite? - because there are 4 bakeries, several restaurants and plenty of shops where you can spend your money. If you have a dog, you can walk it here perfectly

What a wonderful, quiet CP with very nice retired owners. Stay here for free as a France Passion participant, otherwise you pay €7.50 (surcharges for electricity and water - see photos). We are now standing on concrete - it is of course more fun in the orchard - but it rained heavily last night so no risks were taken

A nice and very quiet campsite for a great ACSI price, because where can you find campsites for €15 p.n. these days? all in. Add to that the very spacious pitches and you really don't have to look any further in this region. Cycling on the 'Voie Verte' is fun for the route towards Neufchatel-en Bray, the other direction is disappointing. Here you just drive on a normal road and that makes a huge difference.

Everything about this CP has already been described many times. Just an important addition. Unfortunately, our NL bank card is NOT accepted here either. Payment can only be made with €1 and €2 coins.

Beautiful CP, located directly on the Main. PLEASE NOTE: you can ONLY pay with cash (€5, €10 and €20 or coins - see photo payment terminal) because our NL debit card or credit card is not accepted! Cycling on the Mainradweg is great and a visit to Miltenberg (15 km.) is worthwhile.

As described by many: great motorhome with an amount that you unfortunately no longer often encounter. If it is open, don't forget to visit the open-air museum 'Eynderhoof', more than worth it.

Particularly quiet campsite at a very attractive rate. Fantastic outlets for the dog. Restaurant is typical German and, as already written, with only meat. One more time: restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday! For future campers: restaurant is closed almost the entire month of October. For the 3rd time again spent five days with great pleasure at this very nice mini-campsite. Owner Tiny still takes care of her visitors with great enthusiasm and even without a reservation she still tries to free up a place. All in all, we will definitely come back again!

Great mini campsite with very attractive rates for Walcheren - just compare -!!. Add to that the fact that you can cycle fantastically in the area, so don't hesitate and come to Sint-Jan.

Beautiful and very quiet campsite with very friendly owners. Great for cycling here and walking the dog on the dike. Were here at the end of October on the long 'concrete strip'. This is possible during this period without any problems, but in the summer this is really impossible. On the grass, because of the rain, is not an option either. Now layers of concrete blocks, hopefully for a paved surface, would be a welcome addition.

When can the Dutch accept that you cannot expect a 5 star campsite for € 9.40 for 2 pers. + dog excluding 220 V. Take toilet paper with you to the toilet or, if you have a camper, use your own toilet and shower. Wifi is not there, but you still have a subscription with a number of Gb's. Oh yes, extra annoying at 500m. walk to pay. For all these people: find a 5***** campsite. Costs 'a little' more!!

From all places you have a magnificent view over the lake with a beautiful sunset. At night the gate is locked because according to the manager it is for your own safety!?!? Add to this a sanitary building from the 1950s and no chemical toilet facility. Price 2 pers. + dog excl. 220V € 16.40 p.n.!!! You have to have something to spare for a stay in a 'prison'

Great camping municipal. If you like peace and quiet and want to find your own place, then you've come to the right place. Administrator Marcel is always prepared for advice about the environment and for many a great advantage is that he is also proficient in the Dutch language. The price p.n. for 2 persons + dog, excl. electricity is € 13, -, where else can you find something like this! Discharging gray dirty water is therefore not possible. The municipality thinks the costs are too high

The system with the Camping Card works perfectly, as always. Just read it carefully and fix it. If the CP is sufficient, however, you have a big problem in most places: you always look your neighbors in the face and that is not what you want! A little further away is nice and don't forget to take a walk over the bridge. Well walking in the right direction

Fully agree with the previous reviews. Just do not understand that so little use is made of it because for the price of € 15 (including all amenities) you do not have to leave it. Add to that the many cycling options and, last but not least, a fantastic place for a dog to go out. Campers, what are you waiting for!

Despite the fact that the campsite is located in Peize, it is very quiet here. The pitches are very large and offer a lot of privacy. The price for 2 pers. + dog and tourist tax but excluding electricity is € 17.20 p.n. Of course Drenthe is a great province for cycling and from Peize 'de Onlanden' are definitely worth a visit.

If you are looking for peace and quiet, then this SVR campsite is a good place to stay. During the six nights we stayed here, the necessary cycling kilometers were covered because there are very nice villages in the area, but of course a trip around the Tjeukemeer is also highly recommended, as is the dog beach at 600m. of the camping. Because we are real motor home owners, we have no experience with the plumbing

We have been here for five nights with great pleasure. The CP is very quietly located and offers all the amenities you could wish for as a motor home. For extensive information about the area, you can visit the log cabin where you can also enjoy a delicious ice cream, for example. Do you want to watch birds, 10 minutes from the CP is the Bird Park and 10 minutes away is the cozy town of Hardenberg. All in all, this CP is highly recommended

Spent a total of 5 nights on this small-scale, very quiet campsite, located on the Westerschelde. Just walk up the dike and a different world opens up for you. Maybe spot seals and otherwise be overwhelmed by the imposing seagoing ships that pass by day and night. Cycling along the Westerschelde, you can't get enough of it. Add to that the kindness of Ingrid and Charles and you never want to leave.

Small-scale CP for a very reasonable price because € 15, - all-in in the Netherlands is unfortunately not often seen anymore. We have not used plumbing (after all, have a camper) but looked perfect. The fortified town of Hulst is easy to cycle to with many restaurants. If you think € 0.10 is too expensive for 10 liters of water, go to a campsite. Is the water included in the price but you pay 'slightly' more!!

As described before, far too expensive for what is offered. Despite the fact that the website states that the surface is suitable for (heavy) campers, it is better not to stand on a wet surface. Fortunately they do have a tractor. Add to that the fact that you have to empty the chemical toilet into a 15 cm PVC tube in the ground. Without the possibility to flush the cassette, an alternative is a good tip!

Small-scale, quiet, campsite. Cycling along the Oosterschelde is, in combination with the Boswachterij Westerschouwen near Burgh Haamstede, a must, but don't forget Zierikzee. Do you like fish? Then you can visit the fish shop 'de Heerenkeet' at approx. 1 km. of the campsite are not missing. Very extensive assortment with a fantastic paella.

Small, very quiet campsite where you will be awakened by the numerous birds and where you regularly hear the tawny owls. All campers can go there, but if you want to watch TV, the places are limited because of the many trees. Do you like authentic Indonesian cuisine? Then a visit to 'de Eisseshof' in Niehove - according to 'Elsevier' the most beautiful village in the Netherlands - should not be missed. By bike (10km.), through the arable lands, is a must.

Peace, space, silence. Wake up words by the birds. What a great location. Bakery (with delicious Frisian sugar bread) within walking distance. Nice villages in the area and everything is easy to cycle. Add to that the enthusiasm and friendliness of the young owners Gerry and Dennis and you really don't want to leave. When a visit to Friesland is on the wish list, come to 't Heistek'.

Spent 6 nights on this fantastic CP. In the evening, listen to the tawny owl, bike (or walk) 500m. and you see something unique: 10 'inhabited' stork nests in a high voltage pylon! Add to that the very friendly owners and the number 10 is more than deserved.

That's how a CP should be. Use your own shower and toilet and the rest can be found on the CP for only € 7 and € 1 pn for 220V. Add to this that, because of the corona, the owners accept much more campers than usual and the 10 is more than deserved! A remark about the empty place of the chemical toilet is totally misplaced. This is better at a campsite, but costs 'slightly' more than € 7

It's fantastic how the owners have incorporated the experiences gained with their own camper into their own CP. Everything is there, nothing is missing. There are even screens placed near the places so that you are not 'bothered' by any wind. Add to that the many cycling routes, at 2km. Middenmeer and the enthusiasm and hospitality of the family and the number 10 is more than deserved.

Fantastic terraces CP. Spacious places, good facilities for a chemical toilet and discharge of water. Camperers who complain about one toilet and shower must go to a campsite. You only pay 'something' more than € 8. Nice and cozy restaurant that is only open on weekends. Make a reservation, is very popular with motor home owners and residents from the area. Don't forget to bring wine

Stand on the CP just over the bridge. You can stand here with pleasure. Peacefully quiet. No problems with the traffic, nice walking and cycling and a good bread service through Hotel 'Haus Appel'. If you do not want to be woken up at 08.30 in the morning by the Flat Black, hang a plastic bag on your door with € 6 in it

Everything has already been described about this CP. We liked the goose of roaming geese, the chickens and the roosters - which wakes you up. The registration is one-off, for which you only 100m. have to walk, so it's not that complicated. On the bike to Pappenheim is highly recommended.

Arriving at this CP, it turned out to be a mini camping. Of the 10 places, six were occupied by 'travelers' from Gr.Br !! No idea why a reward with more than ☆☆. Quiet? A busy road runs behind and in front of the CP. Price is € 12, - incl. WiFi but toilet costs € 0.50, shower € 2, - and water to clean chemical toilet € 1, as well as 100l. water. Time to drive on, definitely do!

Agree with all the positive reviews. What we noticed was that many campers are looking for a place on the large CP, while behind the sanitary building there is a place, often much quieter.

Perfect CP where enough has been written about. Important addition for dog owners: walk across the large walking / cycling bridge and your dog can run free in an area the size of about 20 football pitches.

You have to have the guts to ask for this CP for € 12.50 + € 1 for only 2Kw + € 1, = water.

What a fantastic CP for real motor home owners (no shower and toilet) and that for an unbelievably low price. Have been 5 days at this particularly quiet camping municipal and that for only € 8.40 (incl. € 0.70 for our dog). Very spacious places, all with 220V. connection (€ 1.60 per day). Every morning from 8.30 am to 10 am a bakery is standing in the parking lot. At 500m. distance is the cycle route, on an old railway line, Mont St Michel-Paris, so plenty of cycling possibilities

Very nice SVR mini camping. Places are mainly on a large lawn with a view over the meadows. As previously described, beautiful cycling and walking possibilities. Bakery and supermarket, about 10 minutes by bike, in Vledder.

Spent 6 days at this fantastic SVR campsite, with a very nice manager. Join us in earlier reviews regarding cycling, walking and walk possibilities for the dog. Have no experiences regarding the plumbing. Our motorhome has its own shower and toilet.

You can either book for the campsite or for the CP in front of the campsite and there is also a difference in price. Booking in advance for both options is advisable. Did you do that for the CP then you can only get there after 4 p.m. because first report at the reception. Comments that you do not get the € 4 back for the barrier are incorrect. You will get the amount back when you check out

A simple campsite with a very attractive price for high season. Paid for 2 people + dog, excluding electricity, € 18.90. Is located within walking distance of the particularly picturesque Honfleur and from the beach where you will arrive after 7 p.m. enjoy playing with the dog. Unfortunately, advance booking is not possible and reception is only around 2.30 p.m. so it is sometimes open in rows of 4

A CP as it should be and that for € 8. A friendly owner who comes to collect the money every evening and who provides you with all kinds of information. Plenty of walking and cycling opportunities and only 5 km. van Ieper therefore a attendance of the particularly impressive 'The Last Post' is certainly possible. Pay attention to the opening dates because CP may only be open for 4 months from the municipality😭

Have been here for 5 nights to great satisfaction and that for only € 14, - for 2 people + dog, without electricity in high season. They therefore fully agree with previous assessments, except those of Helmich. Beach is not monitored and the camper sani facilities are on the campsite itself. Highly recommended when you want to stay quiet and close to the beach.

Large camping municipal, which, as previously described, is 250 meters from the sea. Dogs are welcome on the 'own' beach - something that rarely happens - but take the times into account. Or before 9 a.m. or after 7 p.m. Price is also very attractive for the high season. We paid for two people + dog, without electricity, only € 19.30. Also don't forget to cycle

A CP that is not worth more than € 5. As mentioned earlier, plumbing does not mean anything but that is not necessary, your camper does not have a shower and toilet for a reason. Do you want to cycle along the Somme or do you want to get bread from the bakery, then you do need a bike. However, do not forget that it goes down a little easier than up. Incline percentage is 10%!

Have been here for three nights to complete satisfaction. Nice and quiet, find yourself out and want to know something about the area, the enthusiastic owners are always there for you. If you like walking and cycling, then this CP is highly recommended.

The campsite is nice and quiet, but price-wise simply too expensive. Costs pn for 2 people incl. Tourist tax € 15.44 and for electricity € 4, - requested. However, if you want to take water for 10 minutes you pay € 2 extra for this, whether you are a guest or not. For that money there are many other campsites in the area.

Fantastic CP and that for only € 6, - + € 0.75 tourist tax pp We agree with all previous comments, so a big fat eight. Because unfortunately many motorhomes arrive at the CP after the official has raised the money - unbelievable but true - chances are that there will be a barrier from 2019 onwards. What a shame that some ruin it this way.

Great CP with a lot of rest. Particularly suitable for beautiful bike tours through Westerwolde. Do not forget to visit Bourtagne. Since last weekend two toilets and showers are available (€ 0.50 for 4 minutes). Discharging dirty water and chemical toilet is not possible due to their own water supply. Take 6 farm-fresh eggs for € 1 when you leave. Lianne and Hans, keep it up.

Beautiful CP with a view of the cows pasture. As mentioned above, nice cycling routes, but do not forget the trails marked by the owner.

Neat, small-scale NCC campsite with all facilities and for € 11, = excl. Electricity. Beautifully situated on the Westerschelde with good cycling and walking possibilities. Tip! If the very nice manager is not present on arrival, there is no red sign on the tent / camper location then you can stand everywhere.
