Fabulous attractive campground with spacious pitches under trees. Modern, roomy and very clean Bathrooms. So nice.

GOOD - Nice location by the river as it is one of only 2 campgrounds near wonderful Alquézar. BAD --Very few old, moldy and cramped bathrooms / showers - so bad I skipped the showers. Worst of 40+ campgrounds in Spain & Portugal that I visited over 3 months. Needs major upgrade and many more bathrooms.

Yes, it is just a small parking lot and you have to walk to the hostel for bathrooms (which are fine). But it has electric and a short walk to the bus stop. I loved it. And is the only choice in town except for the government run place up the hill with only 3 toilets and 1 shower for 90-100 people. she@she -- ignore this person who did not even stay here. Roomy shower with a real bench and hot water. Breakfast included but nothing fancy.

MAKE A RESERVATION 2 OR MORE DAYS IN ADVANCE or risk being turned away. Hostel down the hill much better in many ways - lots of bathrooms - but just a small parking lot.

Excellent for 2 nights. NOT FOR OVER 7M there is just not room. 7 Campervans here last night most 6 or 6.5m. Close to bus and metro stops. Perfect for exploring Porto. Nice guys working here, very helpful. It is a parking lot -- NOT a campground -- do not expect more than that.
