I wanted to visit Wittmundhafen Air Base. This was the perfect base. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I didn't really pay attention to the price of electricity, but I had more than enough after 50 euro cents. The restaurant has a good menu and the food is simply tasty and of good quality. The large, German portions are a given. I stayed here for three days (2 nights) and will definitely come back!

The washing machine requires a key to unlock the outlet. It costs €5 per load. There's a small but large pool and a nice, warm rinse shower.

Tight on a lake. You can rent a canoe, sup board, pedal boat or windsurf there. Nearby is a small airport with sports planes. While we were there, there were also quite a few Dutch people that our children played with, although there were also plenty of other playmates. We have been wonderful for 2 nights.
