I agree with all the superlatives! Okay, lots of Dutch people, but also lots of Belgians, Germans, etc. You don't have to join in, but everyone is friendly! And this family that runs the campsite really goes out of their way to make everyone happy! All the staff are friendly and work incredibly hard every day of the week! We've been here several times and would definitely come back! Best regards to all the staff!

Great campsite! I think the toilet building has been renovated. In response to "sendplan": Toilets without a seat are very common in France and probably more hygienic than with a seat. In response to "anjaleo": I don't understand why you didn't find the welcome friendly. The lady did her very best to speak English and was super friendly! In our experience, what you give is what you get... The restaurant has a daily changing main course, excellent!

12/12/24 first called if there was a place and there was still 1, after sending a whatsapp message I received a neat confirmation and a location via Google maps. On arrival neat explanation of all facilities by the Spanish manager, (who also speaks German French and English) We thought it was a neat camper place and facilities were fine. Beach nearby where dogs are also allowed. Only very busy and reservations are made well in advance

06/12/24 we wanted to stand here, everything full, reception not present, no message that it was full. Campers are 1m apart, also probably long-stayers with chairs etc. outside. We did not want to stand here even though there was space, drove away with screeching tires! Back to La Breña reservoir, wonderfully quiet, all the space, view and free!

We stayed here for 4 nights in June 2024. Excellent campsite, quiet location, very friendly staff. All sites have electricity, water and drainage on site. Small shop in reception, café/pub next door with good kitchen. Walks can be taken from the campsite to a large moorland area, Woodbury Common. Rate for 2 people, camper and dog is £23 on weekends and £20 on weekdays, very cheap for England!

Campsite in a beautiful location on the Coast Path so great walking. Everything well maintained, spacious pitches with a view. swimming pool (additional charge!), restaurant, entertainment, shop, fish & chip shop, nothing is missing. But for those who do not need all this, it is actually too expensive at €39 p.n. for 2 persons + camper in June. We came to walk the coastal path and then continue again. (Sister company Castle Brake near Woodbury only costs €27 p.n.)

Very friendly welcome by hostess Lynda! Nice and quiet campsite with beautiful views. Everything is there, toilets, showers are heated and super clean, washing up area, information booth with, among other things, walking routes. 5 mins walk to the historic village of Chipping with farm shop, old post office/shop/cafe, 2 pubs. Access roads are narrow but doable with a 7.5 meter camper. Rate £30 p.n. incl. 10amp current. Please note: cash payment only!

nice campsite with beautiful views. Facilities are basic but neatly maintained. Nice walk along the towpath from the Leeds-Liverpool Canal to Skipton and Morrison's supermarket. We did not see a hostess, you can put money in an envelope and deposit it in a box at the house. £25 inc electricity, £20 without.

great place, light in the toilet doesn't work so bring a flashlight. water is like birding🤔: register at the column, press "already a customer", enter the code, then "buy" and "water". But...bring a (right-angled) Gardena connection! N.B.!! It is best to approach from the south (D1, D937), from the N-E you have to go through a city gate of 2.50m wide and that is very tight!

friendly welcome at reception, including welcome package for the dog🙂, sanitary facilities a bit outdated but clean, even washing up areas for wheelchair users👍. Swimming pool is even open at the end of September. still open but not heated! A 25-minute walk via a small lake (where the dog can swim) to the city, which unfortunately has a lot of faded glory, was disappointing.

September 8+9, 2023: we were lucky that someone was just gone. campsite still packed. CP is €13 p.n., electricity is added (if desired) = approx. €5 p.d., shower €1 on a card for sale at reception. Then you come with 2 people. at €20 p.n. which I think is even more than the ACSI rate at the campsite....but yes, packed🤨 1 lady at the reception is not friendly, the rest are. Showers and sinks could be cleaner😕 Bistro is great! Walking also beautiful but busy.

really nice place! Warm welcome with tour by Lucien, beautiful garden with all kinds of trees and shrubs. Also heard and seen a hop! Toilet and showers fine with nice hot water, and the kitchen is completely luxurious, which you can use! Also a beautiful walk in the area. We'll be back! Thanks Lucien & Sharmaine and au revoir!

Thanks Tess and Tom for the great welcome and the fun! despite the cold wind (can't help anyone) there was a nice group of people together. Tess cooked once, but also plenty of room for her own input. Toilet and shower clean and nice and hot water 👍 noise from the highway and somewhat less attractive surroundings are more than compensated by the cozy atmosphere! We have relaxed for 4 days! some distance from the highway but on the other hand wonderfully quiet. loos place is a bit muddy but everything works. as usual with Camping Car Parks a great place for a reasonable price

no motorhome in sight !!!

we arrived at 12.05 pm for a closed reception. on many campsites you can stand and come back to register when the reception is open, not here. selected a suitable spot on foot, but the barrier did not open. too hot (30°C) to wait for 2 hours in the parking lot, we drove on. at the same time as us came (and went) at least 2 other campers. lost customers again!

we arrived at 12.30 pm and could just drive up to the campsite and pick a spot so no hindrance from the French opening hours. fine camping, places not flat but with blocks and in the right place are doable. we are there during a heat wave but swimming pool does not open despite >30°, while everything is ready, too bad, but the lake is close by. sanitary facilities are fine and clean (review of 2020 says otherwise, that may be due to the high season?)

very friendly welcome by a Belgian couple. we came for 2 nights and stayed 4 nights! walked in the area and cooled down in the river (with dog!) because it was hot! sanitary fine and clean. nearest supermarket (Super U) is half an hour by bike. village is nothing else, (hence 1 star less) we have had it very quiet!

idyllic setting and (in June) quiet campsite, traffic noise is not too bad and at night very quiet. reception friendly. spots vary in size, we had a huge spot on the water (36). sanitary id outdated but clean. discharge cassette toilet is terrible, not even a flush😱 ATTENTION as mentioned earlier, drive via Voiteur! other routes too narrow / forbidden for motorhomes.

Excellent motorhome with sufficient facilities, after all, we have a motorhome and should be self-sufficient. That is why it is not fair of 'Henri' that because of the sloppy behavior of a fellow camper, i.e. leave the toilet dirty, the motorhome equals less and gives the owner a sneer. we found the owners very friendly and helpful and the toilet clean! thank you for your hospitality!

Great place, tap and discharge water, etc., access with the Pass'Etapes. you can walk along the river (small beach for the dog) to the village. especially lunch at Brasserie du Commerce, delicious menu du jour 3 courses for €15.50!

Actually less suitable for larger motorhomes, but we still managed to get a nice spot with our 7.4m motorhome with satellite reception!(pl.19) friendly welcome, sanitary good and clean. we walked to Besalú (6km) beautiful town on the instructions of host Nathan! coffee and drinks, beer from our own family brewery, available on the terrace. what a rest here! only to hear the birds! worth repeating! thanks Nathan!

We were first on a camper place but have moved because of a bad neighbor and no satellite reception. got a great place at the campsite at ACSI rate, which came down to the same as the CP + dog + current, so 👍 Beautiful walking and cycling area, especially the white route at Spier! 1 downside: no free shower with ACSI rate (which is included according to the book); according to the employee due to extra cleaning due to Corona. It's a small thing but......

In itself a nice and neat CP, friendly hostess. Also a nice area for walking and cycling. Zelhem is cozy and has the necessary shops and nice eateries. What really bothered us was the owner who was busy every day (and especially the whole Sunday afternoon) with a tractor to throw over the hay, which was accompanied by the necessary noise but above all a lot of dust!! So unfortunately not a quiet place now.....

location is great near nature reserve, Druten is a nice place, delicious food at Grand Café d'n Optie. But €18 per night for 2 people, camper + electricity, we think is a good price for what is on offer; we were in the meadow (great place) but a long walk to the toilets on the boat and no wifi reception. moreover, no discharge spot and no clean water to fill up.

handy location for cycling the Bulb Route. Furthermore, we thought € 20 per night for what was on offer was a nice price, but it will be normal for the bulb region

we are here today, in an "emergency place" next to a shed. Had to pay € 25: € 8 camper, € 6 p.p., € 3 electricity (rickety extension cord) - and another € 2 surcharge because we only stay 1 night! so basic rate is already € 20 without electricity. And next to a busy road. for us 1x and not again😒

empty / filling place is indicated by signs, but nowhere is it indicated where you can stay overnight. metal plate for toilet discharge screwed on, so discharge through grate, yuck! village is beautiful but extinct. we have not stayed

a 4 for the facilities, fine. downside for the reception, they only speak French and do everything else via Google translation app. location not great, 1.5 km. from beach where there is little to do. not our thing

28-10-19: great for an overnight stay. Teruel 2km = 30min. walk, nice center. Jamón de Teruel (ham) is delicious! Mercadona temporarily closed for renovation, but bakery and butcher across the park. Slept peacefully at night. wise parking = backwards, then you can always leave

19 to 22 Oct 2019: excellent campsite € 18 pincl flow with ACSI card. kindly reception. we had moderate weather and needed electricity so this was a solution. Showers somewhat worn but clean and with hot water. Monasterio de Piedra idd worth a visit, preferably not on Sunday (busy!) Parking space enough for camper. 65 + = € 11, online € 9.50. restaurant there has good menu and not expensive!

10-10-19: very friendly welcome from the young owner who was busy making a 2nd toilet / shower. we paid € 11 + € 3 electricity = € 14. discharge / fill water with stay free. wifi included and excellent! also made a nice seat for the office. walking distance to nice town, walk along the Garonne, supermarket nearby. great place, we would come again!

13-10-19. plus points: very friendly welcome, spacious pitches with water tap per 2 plots, excellent sanitary facilities, heated. cozy terrace but restaurant closed since the beginning of October. they did make every effort to serve a nice pizza! cons: swimming pool really not heated, restaurant closed October, more rather difficult to reach. nice people but not worth 10 for us

09-10-19: CP in a spot afterwards, little business park. an empty place with sani column but no trash can be found. the hedges obstruct the little view. well it's a place to sleep ....

11 and 12 Oct. 2019 stood here. excellent CP, info with WC during opening hours. received excellent info, trip to Mont-Rebei gorge, spectacular! landfill tidy, chips for electricity available 24/7, € 1 we had electricity for hours. quite busy road but slept well. we would definitely come again!

08-10-2019 we were alone here, ample parking space at cave, only trash can but it's free. Nice walk towards château and back to the village through the vineyards. great place for an overnight stay, had little trouble with traffic noise at night

a 3 for the nice view. Those who love it here are certainly used to sleeping at the Polderbaan at Schiphol, what a traffic noise !! The site is nicely paved but not finished yet, electricity does not work, cars park on the cp (not clearly indicated?) Furthermore, they are busy with roadworks and pile driving around the cp, but that is of course temporary. 1x for us and never again

01-04-2019 Super place in the mountains, nice and quiet, nice view which unfortunately is a bit cooler due to forest fire. We have only had to deal with the hostess, Isabel, very friendly and helpful, speaks German and French. Nice places and excellent facilities for € 12.50 per day 1 point deduction for the approach route on dirt road.

Apparently there are enough people who like this, nothing for us! Places incredibly narrow, we stood with our somewhat larger camper along the side, where all kinds of junk was. In the back a nice "garden", and a friendly welcome, which means paying everything extra up to the toilet. Basic price € 7.50 is too much for this. More suitable for camper vans.

27-3-19 great place, friendly manager, service point OK. minus point: no toilets. Nice town to visit, nice park next to the CP.

Finally found a beautiful place after 3 misses! idd first follow the navigation towards the campsite, then the last roundabout before the campsite turn left towards "Almargem", around the campsite. Also nice forest area to let the dog run. Nothing except the sound of the waves, great!

Full place, no camper to be seen and barking at the animal shelter. we didn't stay

will probably be a great place but on 16-02-19 packed, we have found a place on the way back to Benicasím on a P with 5 other campers

great place on nice lake, easy to walk around. We have been here 13-02-2019, no facilities available but also nobody to raise money. Would definitely come again.

follow previous instructions and not the navigation! Place good for 1 night, drain was full and water tap was not busy but we also needed nothing. NB we drove in the dark from CP Le Teil (full and messy) on the N102 towards the center of Montélimar and got a stone through the side window of the camper !! according to the police this happens with some regularity in this neighborhood !! watch out for this route!

14-02-2019 We arrived here early in the evening, no longer a place but also looked messy. We drove on to CP in Montélimar, for that we had to cross the bridge over the Rhône and towards the center of Montélimar. WARNING: we have received a stone through the side window of the motorhome !! According to police not the first victims! Be careful with this route!

Prima motorhome, sea of ​​space, great WIFI if you stand within 50m of the info point. Idd coordinates use, in Savièse at the roundabout turn left ri.Granois, then there sharp rechsaf ri.Binii. Once with previous reviews, beautiful surroundings, etc. Owners are idd spicy ladies, but that of the store / office is helpful. We paid CHF 24, - pn incl. Tax. More favorable to pay in CHF, (same rate as euros but 10% difference). NB They only accept cash payment, no PIN. Also unfortunately no loos and filling options for campers.

Beautiful and convenient location, 10 min.fietsen to Sierre. New plumbing, showers included in price. Rate of € 19 acc. book does not win. You get an A4 for the nose with a laundry list rules and the message that ACSI customers pay € 23 pn, excl. Tourist tax € 1 pppn. In case of protest that this is not an ACSI rate, the administrator relies on the story that the management has determined.

Great place to visit Leiden and surroundings! Nice and quiet, just sanitary, friendly reception, everything present incl.restaurant. Beautiful cycling along the Vliet, to Leiden or direction Leidschendam (beautiful lock!) & The Hague. For the environment not expensive, camper + 2p + electricity with ACSI 10% discount = € 20.50p.n. worth repeating.

Spacious pitches, just sanitary, friendly manager. For those who love peace a must! The listed price of € 12.20 incl. Tax is not correct, must be € 13.20. With € 3.50 for electricity = € 16.70. Compared to many campsites in Zeeland reasonable.

great CP, reasonably flat, nice and quiet except when the church bells function at 07.00 as an alarm clock. Bakery and café nearby. Great view of the Pyrenees from the mairie!

Prima CP, water filling and discharge, waste bins. Places slightly slanted but fine to do. We were there on Friday and Saturday night, little affected by (traffic) noise. 10 min. Walk to center, cozy terraces. The municipality makes this place available for free, great initiative and no reason to whine!

23-04-18 stood. Great place, along via verde, picnic place, water, electricity! (3 ×) behind bicycle building. Zuheros (4km) is a beautiful village. Okay there is some noise from the road .... but people the place is free! whoever complains about this, can stay at home better ....

22-04-18 stood here. nothing wrong with this, municipality provides free space with free drinking water and free place. There is a sign forbidden to drive EXCEPT for campers. It is not a failed new housing estate but also a party site (féria) and market area. Too bad that the toilets were not open ... although ... prefer their own toilet. City center is a bit further away than 800m, rather 3km.

Nicely designed CP, neat manager, further agree with previous reviews. No showers / toilets at the price. Located in a desert-like area in the midst of infrastructure that was once built for a residential area and never realized (ghost town). We were soon looked forward to, more beautiful places elsewhere in Spain! (And very German oriented)

Suitable for 1 night for beautiful hiking nearby. Most campers stand on the field next to the RV spots. Facilities ie sani column are not functioning, therefore they empty the toilet in the gray water tank. Too bad this is not repaired! Gone is close, quiet at night.

Great place to visit the town and castle, also like the many cave houses on the hill! Excellent facilities and (in March 2017) plenty of room for dozens of campers. Police patrols regularly, even at night, feel safe

Unlike previous statements, you pay € 12 for up to 8 meters and not 7m. Friendly reception, helpful manager. Combi Card Roman excavations € 7.50 for pensioners ( "pensionistas"). WC in open museum building (MAM) next parking lot. Good for one night to visit Merida

Camp looks messy but welcome at reception makes up for it! Down at tent pitch good satellite reception. Dresden lovely city to visit, fine to do on the bike. Zwinger Palace and Residenzschloss art collection worth a visit !!

Prima motorhome, large areas outside high season (June-August) € 11 per night (not 15!). Indeed pay for everything separately, but you determine how much use you make of this. Manager very friendly and helpful and speaks Dutch neat! For the motorhome a 9 location (little remote) a 7, then final grade 8.

Beautiful motorhome. Just plumbing. Not only can find trash bin. Facing you pay € 19, € 15 at the warehouse. Bus and S-Bahn within 40 minutes in downtown Hamburg. Service area easily accessible from highway.

Neat place, good food in hotel, only no way to get rid of waste. Meyer recruits worth a visit, buy tickets at tourist ship in center € 12.90 per person including bus transfer. Papenburg nice place to visit.

We are here explained away due to the unfriendly reception. I was summoned to fill in my details and asked to pay in advance € 19.20. When I asked if I could see the place I was told that if they had to do with anyone, they would be busy all day. The camper spots were retrospective and short succession. We have been to Camping Tauber Romance drove, what a difference, fine!

We were here end of May 2016, indeed, beautiful views, excellent facilities, police will come in the evening to collect money. It is true that camping behavior is not desirable, since it is a motorhome for! You can moreover well across sit on or near the beach. Only downside is some noise from the road, but it's had no problems at night!

Spacious, quiet place in the arena, there are far worse places in town! 10 minutes walk to the charming town center with plenty of bars. Given that it's free, definitely worth 8!

New site with modern toilet blocks and a nice swimming pool, unfortunately makes everything an impression that it must be finished. There seem to be many regular guests with caravans (Easter?) And many plots have low trees making it difficult for (larger) campers. The sites below are more accessible to the road. Good for 1 night passing through.
