the access map is no longer valid. From now on the municipality asks you to go to its PAID area at the entrance to the village. Boycott this lamentable commercialism. Go instead to the Pontet area in Saint Chely. It's free and there's plenty of space.

Be careful: GPS sends you to the city center, probably to the tourist office address! And trying to make you take the wrong way! The car park is called Le Pontet and to get there, follow Atlantie and take the street 10m further. And it's a good rest area.

The old area is closed with a padlocked gate and empty! The municipality has entered into a commercial contract with an OPERATOR and the new area costs €13.50. There is nothing to see at Salvetat. 10km further south, Soulié, there is a small free area at the exit of the village. The people are nice and there is a café restaurant grocery store. Instead, do your shopping with them. On the town hall of Salvetat, Fric, Pognon, Profit?
