Nice spot in good weather. There is no network coverage here, so book via AanUit.net before entering Kalmthout, as you need the code to drive in. No sanitary facilities, and the toilet emptying area is filthy. Beautiful signposted walks. €15 per night, electricity and water NOT included.

Friendly welcome, still reasonably lively at the end of the season. Free sauna use. Clean and heated sanitary block with music. Cozy pitches.

I thought €48 for a night off-season was quite a lot, but you have the luxury of easily getting to the city centre by bus and metro. You can simply expect the noise of passing traffic when you spend the night in a city. We stayed here to keep the camper safe and sound during our visit to the city.

The campsite seems outdated, despite the new sanitary block. When we arrived, we couldn't find the reception. The people at the reception didn't want to make time for us, nor did we receive any explanation. I booked because there was a campsite shop, among other things, but it was only 10% stocked because it was the ‘last week before closing’. Okay… You pay to use all the facilities, don't you? We were located at the entrance to the forest path, number 71. Great for the dogs to run around for a bit!

Waking up in peace, clean places, tidy, very easy and private check-in method

On the one hand, it's nice that it's located by the water and within walking distance of the beautiful shopping center. There is also a waste drop-off point and a fenced-in meadow for your dog to run free. On the other hand, it is situated in a bit of a run-down neighborhood, so there is more street noise and after 10 PM, junkies are walking around. But anyway, payment is easy at the entrance to the car park. It costs €7 for 24 hours and you can park there for three days.
