camping is quite far from the main road (D900) and has a steep climb and becomes narrow. When we arrived we were told that we were welcome, but because we were 3 adults we were not wanted?? the policy/regime of the owner is: only accessible to couples of 2 people per spot!! No children under 18 and also no pets. Even if you were alone you would not get a spot. Strange, very strange. drove on to Apt Lubea: great!

TOP!! highly recommended place, partly because of its beautiful location on a natural lake where you can swim and fish. grounds are neatly maintained and large pitches with many options for shade or sun. sanitary facilities perfectly maintained and of a very good standard. Where we stood (26) good working WiFi. And that for €20 all-in (including electricity and tax). Never say I want to come back somewhere, but here that would apply.

Annick's bad luck was lucky for us that we spent a day / night on the Zandberg. Top place with enough facilities for the average "camper". Also a great place for walking / cycling tours where the history of 14/18 is leading. Visit the "brothers in arms" memorial (nearby) because it illustrates the suffering so well. Annick also seems to serve coffee and make a campfire for his guests!
