excellent fully equipped campsite for a peaceful stay. Views of the famous lighthouse and the church from most pitches. Walk to the lovely beach in a few minutes. Easy, pleasant cycling round the lanes. large pitches and immaculate facilities.

Visited April 2021 just after lockdown. Spacious pitches. Friendly wardens. Next to scenic coastal path; Thorpeness and Aldeburgh one direction, Minsmere the other. Pub/restaurant on site overlooking the beach. Many paths inland. Good spot for a few quiet days.

Very convenient overnight stop but worth an extra day or two. Terraced site, quiet at night but a little traffic noise (not intrusive) from the nearby road during the day. Very clean facilities and friendly manager. On the outskirts of town with shops for all needs. Close to pretty canal cycle path to Bar-le-Duc. The town aire is on the nearby harbour but it gets very full with very close parking,; making the campsite at 11.20 Euros a night in September 2019 - including electrricity - an much better choice in our opinion.

Good stopover campsite with views across to the old town. Clean facilities and solid grass pitches ok for winter. The old town (easy bike or walk) with a castle in the middle of it is well worth a visit. Cafe on site. Many statics but plenty of touring pitches.

Lovely spot. Visited mid September and misty early mornings very atmospheric.. Great views and peaceful.

Much improved since we came last in 2015. Well cared for now, and at 11euros a night including EHU and full facilities, excellent value. Vauban fortifications well worth a look.

Very basic but tidy with good views over Rutland Water. Several well mown fields available for all forms of camping. No hook up but water and waste. Cycling and walking off road round the reservoir. Recommended for a quiet or active break.

Visited several times over the years during winter months. We find it perfect for what we need, as do most of those who stay and return. Quiet, relaxing, good views, large pitches (though some be difficult to access) and very close to cycling and walking routes. Facilities adequate. Good shops and weekly market.

Busy but excellent position near the town, the cable car and walking and cycling routes. Beautiful scenery. Some pitches have more room and better views than others but it's first come first served. Parked away from roadside it is very quiet.. Would stay again if in the area..

Spacious pitches, most with a good open aspect. Lakeside pitches available for a premium. Toilet/shower block large, very clean and modern. Pleasant town (with Lidl) a mile or so away. Great cycling all round. Mostly off road to Fussen (about 13 miles each way, a couple more to Neuwanstein) and extremely quiet lanes to Schongau. Restaurant good and also does take away. Still busy September.

Large, quiet and clean campsite in a pleasant area. Good walking and cycling (for example mostly off road to Chichester easy).. Very low pensioner rates Sunday to Thursday outside school and Bank holidays.

Stayed here a few times and don't recognise it from some of the bad reviews. Easy to locate and shops a short walk away.. Friendly helpful reception and quiet secure area. Lots of overnighters. Pitches a good size and facilities OK with plenty of hot water in showers and washing up etc... Perhaps a little expensive (show CCI and get 10%reduction)..Would recommend...

Visited early March 2018 after some very wet and cold weather. Good hardstandings for winter use. Very quiet and peaceful and friendly owners. Electricity, water and waste for 12.44 euros. Pleasant old town and quite remarkable UNESCO Abbey. Recommended .

Visited 1 March 2018 for three nights. Very windy but sheltered beside terrace side. Great views. Amazing geo park (cliffs and beach area). Very pleasant town only 15 minutes easy walking. Campsite reception very friendly and facilities excellent. Easy train travel to nearby villages and towns.

Visited February 2017. Good elevated position with very little road noise. In winter they prefer campers on a hard standing strip which takes approximately 8 units. Facilities OK. Easy cycle along riverside into Pamplona which is worth visiting. Would use again as convenient to and from west France.

We visited end February 2017. Quiet in winter but fine for a night (or two?) on the way south. Facilities fine and welcoming owners. Mostly statics but quite a few pitches. Bread in morning and a pleasant area to walk. Will visit again

Very quiet mid February 2017. Good spot with long cycle ride through mountains on disused railway line. Nearby village has one shop that opens at irregular hours. Small cafe on site.. Friendly operators.

Beautiful area. Alquezar town a good walk but worth it. Campsite friendly with good value restaurant across the road. Great stop.

Visited twice on journey down to Cote d'Azur in the winter (January 2017 and also February 2016). Friendly reception. Convenient and safe stop. Facilities OK. ACSI prices.

Terrific views if on the front row. Superb sunrises if conditions are right. Good bread in mornings. Close to long distance cycle track which will get you to the lava ball and the thee smaller volcanic crater lakes near Daun. . Pitch 7euros a night, electricity 50 cents a kw and water 1euro for 50-80 litres. A little scruffy but acceptable.

Visited early February 2017. ACSI prices. Very well kept campsite with excellent facilities, big pitches and with good shop and restaurant. Cycling and walking routes. Extremely quiet. Not busy but quite a few campers and caravans obviously overwintering. L'Estartit very quiet though pleasant prom and harbour.

Visited January 2017. Very quiet. Good spot near thermal stream and waterfalls. Easy walk into old hilltop village of Saturnia.. Great views. Facilities OK, friendly staff..

Visited January 2017. Very strong cold wind but the area is in a good sheltered position. Very helpful family running the parking. Terrific views. Free lift to village (and return). Great stopover for a couple of nights or longer for the train or walking. Highly recommended.

Stayed early february 2017. Excellent facilities. Cycled to Peniscola which was easy once past the river. Pitches near the sea can hear the sea crashing as the beach is close and stony. Restaurant was excellent and owner and wife very friendly and funny. Nearby town very quiet in winter.

Visited late January 2017. Perfect overnight stop. Well kept site with good facilities. Quiet pitch overlooking the sea; amazing sunset. Friendly reception. Only downside was cost of 27 euros a night. Sea pitches probably unsuitable for vehicles over 7 metres.

Visited late January 2017. Very friendly reception and facilities clean. Plenty of shade from high trees. Pleasant walk along the sea. Supermarket close. Quiet particularly at night. A few 'permanents' but no other touring units. We cycled to San Remo on the cycle path but first had to ride a couple of kilometres on the main road which was OK. ACSI 19 euros.

Visited January 2017. Although the weather was windy with very strong gusts (50 mph) the position was fairly sheltered but with an amazing view over Monterosso and the sea. Very friendly and helpful owners. Taxi to and from town included in the price. Care needed with electrical appliances as told only 3 amp (more like 6?) available. Water on each pitch.

Good spot for an overnight or a couple of days. Lovely area with easy and more difficult walking and cycling around. Nicely position bar and restaurant on the campsite. Was quite busy when we visited in early September 2014.

Visited late April 2016. Positioned on the coast with own sandy beach and views of Hiddensee. Ferry to the Island 2 minute cycle ride. Hiddensee itself well worth a visit; easy to cycle round as no cars allowed. Not much else to do from the campsite but nice village and beaches.

Visited late April. Good position. Clean and quiet. Shop on stellplatz also serves the village so well stocked. Easy walks around village and along cliffs. Walk to Konigsstuhl Park Centre takes about an hour and a half.

Very quiet in late April. Friendly welcome. Beautiful garden area to camp in. Good facilities. Supermarket just across the road. Good cycling along coast to Baabe and Sellin. Short walk to harbour. Highly recommended.

Visited mid February 2016. Quiet with good facilities. Helpful owners. Pleasant town, bread 800 metres, centre 1km. Old town of Noli an easy walk along coast path or a little more challenging (but more rewarding) on old path higher up cliffs with good views of the Med and Noli.

Small campsite; very clean with excellent facilities. Lovely views, walks and cycle rides. Beautiful area.

Visited very 2nd March 2015. Reception opened at 3pm. Quiet and pleasant motorhome parking. Facilities OK. Carrefour 400 yards away and baker a little further in the village. Ideal overnight stopover.

very rustic in a beautiful setting with good facilities. good food (people come rrom the town and nearby Camp Koren to eat here). access is via a narrow road but driven slowly is ok. visited first in 2007 and again july 2015. bathing I river is possible. excellent

Stayed early March 2015. Good hard area. Open and quiet with views across to Aigues-Mortes. New filling/emptying point, bar and bread in the mornings. Excellent cycling both to Aigues-Mortes (large walled town) and Le Grau-du-Roi (on the coast with very modern huge marina past the flamingos on the lakes of the Camargue.

Visited March 2015. Very quiet only a handful of campers. No bread service in winter but only 15 minute walk to town. Lovely town (good Provencal market Wednesdays even in winter) and good cycling around the area either off road or on quiet minor roads. Facilities fine with very hot showers. Friendly owners.

Good location on the shore of the Lake. Scenic views. Modern and clean bathrooms. the ACSI portion lies on the grass. This can be muddy after rain. There are also paved places, which are more expensive. Beautiful walk around the Lake. Also has a section high above the Lake on the South side. However, more than worth the effort. The cycle route through Immenstadt adds itself afterwards at a bicycle-/wandelpad on the river. The near lying village has restaurants that are reachable from the path to the Lake. All in all a super place.

Small but comfortable with good facilities. Many use as a stopover but deserves at least 2 nights. Great views and surroundings

Excellent ACSI campsite on lakeside with super views. Most pitches have lake views. We were there mid September and as the weather was good the swimming pool was kept open. Facilities are spread around the campsite and were spotless. A scenic (flat) off road cycle path goes north round the lake on the old road, but to complete the lake tour roads have to be used. Monte Isola (the large island) is very pretty and with vehicle restrictions in place is very good to cycle round; only one hill!!

Small campsite Super stop after or before toll free Reisa/Fern passes to/from Germany. Good facilities. Lovely scenery and a good walk or cycle around both lakes. Well worth more than one night.

Expensive 14 euros a night but good position near very interesting town and saline therapy installations. Clean spacious with some hard standings.

Clean peaceful site next to river and super cycle path. Saarburg interesting and Aldi close by.
