A special place to stay, with a unique approach route over the city walls. From some spots, there is a beautiful view of the river. You can also enjoy a delicious meal at one of the restaurants on the citadel. A guided tour of the citadel and the corridors by the tourist office is a nice way to gain a better understanding of the place where you are staying. The sanitary facilities are quite simple and a bit old, but functional. You can walk straight into the village through the gate.

Quiet campsite with shady spots. A bike path takes you to the pleasant beach with a nice beach bar in a few minutes. Mao's surf lessons at the campsite were also great. The sanitary building on the left side of the campsite is very outdated and only has cold water, but the other building is fine. Less than 18 euros per night.

Beautiful location. There were already quite a few campers, yet we still had a spacious spot with a view over the river. The current is fast, but it was still nice to cool off in the river.

Very friendly hostess. We were allowed to choose our own spot, which meant we could be next to our friends who were staying in a cottage. The standard pitches are scattered between the cottages. Despite the cottages, it didn't feel like a massive campsite. There is a pizza night on the weekend, which tasted great. The sanitary facilities are simple but clean, and the shower area is very well heated. Beautiful cycling and hiking tours can be made from here.

Nice campsite with beautiful spots by the water. The spots by the small harbor are also very nice. It is definitely recommended to rent a boat for a day to explore the surroundings. The sanitary building is a bit on the small side for the number of people, but otherwise fine.

A very pleasant and atmospheric campsite, situated by a lovely stream in the middle of the forest. The owners are very friendly and always willing to help with questions. The communal dinner at the long dining table is highly recommended! With our 6m campervan, the pitch was spacious enough, but I understand why larger campers are refused. The only point for improvement is the limited amount of sanitary facilities.

great campsite for a few nights. Currently be careful because the ground is very marshy. Sanitary facilities are outdated, but clean. From the campsite you can cycle via the "voie verte" to Nolay and via the beautiful "voie des vignes" to Meursault. Santenay is not much, but the bakery and restaurant Le terroir are fine.
