Great campsite. Friendly and helpful staff at reception. They also speak German and English. The campsite looks well-maintained. You can hear some local traffic, but it didn't bother us. Quiet at night. Ideal for visiting Strasbourg by train. About a 10-minute walk to the station and then about a 15-minute train ride. Cycling is also good in the area, including to Obernai. We paid with our ACSI card (from September 1st) €17.44 per night for 2 people, including everything!

Great location and great price! We arrived late in the day because all the campsites were full, and we just managed to find a spot. We stayed for a few days and cycled to Riquewihr, Ribeauville (a bit steep there, flat back), and Colmar (flat). Kaysersberg is also very beautiful. There's free water and dump stations for two campervans at the same time.

Last review regarding price is completely correct. This place is according to us the same as Ostrauerhof. Still 4 stars because we found it beautiful and very quiet and lots to do in the direct vicinity. Good tourist information in Bad Schandau. Indeed no facilities at all, but apparently they will come. Had a nice meal at the guest actor of Ostrauerhof and at Chinese Restaurant in Bad Schandau.

we stayed here for 1 night while traveling. Great place. Quiet but indeed places very slanted. We did not stay on official cp but over 2 regular parking places. Had a nice meal in the Stadtcafe (open thursday to sunday)

We stayed here 2 nights on the cp at the front of the campsite. Places a bit crooked. Campsite and sanitary facilities neat, but slippers are mandatory. We paid 29.50 excl. electricity. If you want a camping place 10 euros extra. incl. kurtaxe, so free bus for visiting Wernigerode or Braunlage. Excellent starting point for visiting Brocken and hiking. Tip: delicious meat from the vending machine!

Nice, quiet place. We can only confirm previous reviews. We made a nice walk to the Grosser Knollen. The swimming pool was not yet open, but the kiosk was.

Beautifully maintained place. Can only confirm previous reviews. Restaurant/café open from Thursday to Sunday. We only stayed here 1 night. Approx. 6km from the campsite Weser Skywalker, viewing platform over the Weser.

Great place. Quietly situated a bit higher on the edge of Borgholzhausen Trees and bushes have been pruned at the official camper spots, so now there is a nice unobstructed view. If you walk up from the cp you will come to the Luisenturm (lookout tower). There is also a sign with other hiking trails. Although there are only 3 official spots, there were also campers one level higher on the regular parking lot. Spots are not completely flat.

We stayed here for 2 nights and found it a great place. Visit the town and take beautiful walks. Parking ticket was also payable with coins.

we stayed here one night to walk at the Dorenther cliffs. We stood at the top under the trees. The road is indeed audible, but we were not bothered by it at night. Also (fortunately) did not notice any toilet paper or the like! The walking routes start approx. 800 meters further along the road at the walking parking lot.

we wanted to stay here for a few days to walk, but unfortunately fully booked. we were helped kindly and could stay for 1 night in front of the camping at the road on the gravel spots. we paid 21.50 for this without electricity. We did find that most of the spots on the camping are very close together.

small, simple campsite, see previous reviews. we stayed here one night to visit the castle. nice walk to it, with some narrow and ascending parts. From the campsite about 4.5 km, or to the Ringelsteiner Muhleen car park (3 euros), then about 2 km. We paid 17.80 euros for one night inc. at the campsite. current.

great campsite. We can confirm previous reviews! little shade. The days were very hot, so we were able to make great use of the swimming pool (natural pool, unheated, free entrance). We paid 23 euros per night with ACSI discount, including everything. Cash payment only.

We have been here 1 night. Great place in itself. No nuisance. during the day a bit busy place due to road and bus station, but have not been bothered by it at night. Signs with hiking trails at the path behind the motorhome. Supermarket within walking distance.

The tourist places at the front are fine and look well maintained. Further back is still messy. Sanitary facilities are fine, but bring your own toilet paper. Restaurant was fully booked due to Mother's Day, can't give an opinion on that. Nice walk in Eupen to the dam, booklet with walk available for free in the restaurant. we paid 25.50 p.n. 2 pers. incl. electricity.

were here Saturday before Ascension Day. looked neglected and abandoned. In the parking lot across the street we saw signs for sale or sold? to stand. We drove on.
