We have been to the campsite for the 3rd time. This time, we did a lot of cycling in the surrounding area from the campsite using junction routes. The loop around the lake is nice. We also went to Oldenburg by public transport. The bus stops close to the campsite and you only pay 1 euro one way. You get off in the city center after +/- 30 minutes. Ideal. We really like the campsite. For us, it is a starting point for holidays to the North. We will definitely be back.

We spent 2 nights at this campsite. We were assigned a good camper pitch. However, we were located at the far end of the campsite. Plenty of shade. However, in the evening, that was also the gathering place for the youth. And then you know how it goes. Of course, it is a holiday, but there is a lack of supervision. So, screaming youth until deep into the night. Unfortunately.

So, how am I going to rate this? I called the campsite for a camper pitch. Reservations couldn't be made by phone. I tried to reserve online, but payment didn't go through. I got the last spot anyway. Upon arrival, I had to indicate how long I would be staying and pay immediately. The pitches weren't level, offered little shade, and the owner was very pushy, bordering on rude. 4 nights for 124 euros!!! We just went to another campsite!

Despite all the glowing reviews, it was still a bit disappointing. A lot of noise from planes taking off and landing. Many barking dogs around the campsite. There was a lot of noise around the campsite. Otherwise a nice campsite, good sanitary facilities. And I still have to get used to bringing my own toilet paper. We found out that we were also at this campsite in 2018. 🤣🤣

Well. Contrary to other reviews, I am not positive. Left after 1 night. No hot water for washing dishes. Looks very run-down. Maintenance? It needs to be renovated urgently. I was shocked when I reached the shower rooms. That looks like a penal camp. Too bad. The location is perfect. The municipality should be ashamed. Do something about it and you will have nothing but satisfied customers. But people will come anyway.

Well. What can be said about this campsite? Cramped pitches, everything is outdated and in need of maintenance. A shabby campsite. And expensive. 1 night, 2 people, camper and electricity 31 euros. Upon arrival, the gate was closed and it took a lot of effort to get it open. The lady at reception was okay, but I got the impression that it was all a bit too much for her. A shame. If they are willing to invest to current standards, the campsite will be okay.

We stayed here for 4 nights. The campsite is the central hub for the local residents. There is an excellent supermarket where the locals do their shopping. There is a great restaurant and bar that serves a social function. It is pleasantly busy. The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly. Many Spanish families come to the campsite on weekends. That makes it very lively. Tip: order the Paella.

We stayed at this campsite for 4 days while traveling to Spain. We went on several bike rides. To Peyre, Millau, and to the Boulanger nearby. The campsite owner was very nice and nothing was too much trouble for her. We will definitely come back there. Theo Hoekstra
