The campsite looks a bit messy. The pitches are reasonably spacious. The sanitary facilities are in portable cabins, but they are clean. There is a nice little restaurant on the campsite. You can walk straight into the woods with your dog.

Quietly situated yet within walking distance of the beach. Friendly staff at the reception. They speak English and German. The sanitary facilities are spotless and clean. The only downside is that there is only one hot water tap for washing dishes.

A really neat campsite. Everything is in order and spotlessly clean. Because of that, it lacks atmosphere. But good value for money. You can walk straight through the forest to the beach.

We love this type of ‘raw’ environment. Yes, the spots are cramped. Do not use the toilet and shower. No toilet paper, quite dirty. Electricity is available. But the location is really great. Close to the Museum of Solidarity. Nice food court within walking distance. The old center is easily walkable. Tip: follow the river and you will walk through the old harbor into the area with the new apartment buildings and on to the old city.

Nice camper place, run by enthusiastic campers. So know what a camper is looking for. Nice quiet area and you can explore many things in the area (by bike and on foot). including the former island of Schokland
