I endorse the good reviews. Great. A minor drawback for campers is that there is no greywater drain.

What a beautiful campsite and what clean sanitary facilities, but what certainly makes a visit to this campsite worthwhile is the enthusiasm of Gerrit, the campsite manager. That man is tireless; from morning till evening he is busy making sure the guests have a good time. A deep bow and hats off to this way of running a campsite.

I don't like superlatives, although I really have to hold back when it comes to this campsite. I agree with the previous reviews. Fantastic!!!

A lovely, quiet campsite, truly "in the forest." Well-maintained sanitary facilities. Friendly and helpful staff. Good price. The ground is mostly quite uneven. Saarburg is a pleasant town. You can cycle to Trier or along the Saar to Mettlach. Taking the train there and cycling back is also an option. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for two nights on a headland. We cycled to Cochem, returned along the other side of the Mosel, and briefly touched down in Beilstein. Beautiful. Good campsite. The team was great. Clean sanitary facilities, nice showers. Excellent restaurant.

Nice reception by enthusiastic managers. (also English speaking). Quiet park-like campsite. 10 km by bike from Tours. Spacious places. Clean and in between maintained sanitary facilities. Downside is that for good wifi you are dependent on a provider that has to be paid with paypal. (we don't have). Still definitely recommended.

Nice quiet place on an island in the Loire. Nice reception. Expect little or no view of the water. Definitely need blocks. Toilets without paper. Wifi should not have a name, very poor reception The password consisted of a fill-in exercise name first name email address telephone number over and over again and it really often dropped out.
