The campsite is beautiful. Facilities are somewhat limited. There is a kitchenette, but 4 gas burners for everyone who wants to cook or bake is a bit insufficient. A visit to the Curonian Spit is widely recommended. It is also beautiful and interesting. Do take into account the ferry (23.20) and entrance fees (50 euros with a camper)!

Camping is a parking lot of a (not in use) hotel. So spots are small, just or almost enough space for your awning. All positive review comments are justified. So it is actually a camper place with excellent camping facilities. Walking to the village via approximately 600 steps along 10 plateaus with beautiful mosaic representations that belong to the Santuario Nossa Senhora dos Remedios.

now 33.75 for 1 night with camper, 2 people, electricity + the lack of WiFi (as at many campsites: promised but not working or not working); so paid a lot

The barrier is closed at 22:00. With a pass possible until midnight. It stopped working at 11:45 PM. Having to stand outside with our van. The next morning the lady at the reception lied that we were only there at 00.15 and then she conjured up a map with the text on the back saying 23.30. The back of the paper we received was blank. Very unfriendly, no empathy, just putting the blame on us.
