Lovely campsite with an owner who does everything to make everyone happy. Booking in the high season (even Sept!) is recommended. Great bread service, small shop, snack bar, and swimming pool. The sanitary facilities are fine. There is even toilet paper, right next door at the entrance. Terraced campsite with shady spots between the high rocks in the Jura, near the beautiful town of Ornans. The Voie Verte, a beautiful cycle route, starts at the Super U.

Very friendly welcome from the owners and a beautiful, not too large campsite on the Moselle. You can choose your own pitch, no fixed spots or anything like that. Bread service is available, and it is also possible to order fries, pizza, and ice cream. The sanitary facilities are clean and have cute little towels. For cyclists, the Voie Verte is 50 m away. We planned 2 nights but ended up staying 4. That says enough.

We turned around and left after a very unfriendly reception. An angry old (dirty) man with his companion called us rude Europeans because we had arrived during his lunch break (12:30 p.m.). My suggestion to wait out his break so he could eat in peace was not accepted. He remained angry and threatening and pointed us to a very bad spot. When he switched to calling us "Scheissdeutsers," we had had enough of his drunkenness.
