If you get the chance to stay here when the sun is shining and the weather is beautiful, you'll feel like you're in paradise. Views of the sea, Senja, and the small rocky islands. A uniquely beautiful spot. There's water and electricity, and if necessary, the owner will empty your toilet. He's a friendly, unique man. One of a kind. Cherish this place!

A young, friendly couple with a campervan/campsite under construction. Still a bit of a makeshift site, but lots of potential for a unique spot. It's still fun to go to Roe for the peace and quiet and the view!

Agree with all the positive comments. Actually 5+ stars!

We are here at the end of April 2025. Almost all campers are in the first row at the sea. To Vieste it is about 10 kilometers by bike along a road that is dangerous for cyclists. Beautiful place for the early and late season. We did not like the mandatory wearing of a plastic band around your wrist.

What a lovely place, small scale, hospitable and nothing is too much for the owners. And with the e-bike you can cycle wonderfully!

We have been coming here for several years and love it. 3xR! Peace, space and cleanliness. Still a critical note. The price per night is rightly higher than average, but we think the 10 euro administration fee when booking and an additional 10 euros extra for securing the place is too much. Especially if you only want or can stay a few nights. We suggest that the administrators consider reviewing this.

Agree with previous reviews. 1 addition. Take a good look when you arrive in the village. Google sends you links down. Continue for 100 meters and then turn left. I don't see why a motorhome over 7 meters couldn't get here. A converted coach is not possible, but with a motorhome of, for example, 8.5 meters you can get there just fine. We loved this place.

As far as we are concerned, a little more nuance with regard to the number of stars. The pitches contain fairly coarse gravel/boulders. We found it little attractive, especially practical. Taking the water is not properly regulated. A push button that you always have to press and not the option to connect a hose. The sanitary facilities look good, but the temperature of the water varies greatly and it is rather meager in terms of 'radius'.

Beautiful place, everything is neatly cared for and clean! Good base for visiting Etna. Brother, sister and father 'run' the campsite. If desired, they also provide transfer to the village and/or Etna cable car. And they charge fair prices for that. Oh yes and the shower cubicle could be a bit bigger. I would have loved to give them an old-fashioned 10, but I can't go higher than 5 well-deserved stars!

Clean, view, tranquility, water and electricity at the place, super hospitable! A place that you rarely see on this island! And a beautiful environment!

No mosquitoes in autumn. We were stranded here on Saturday with a slowly deflating rear tire. Unfortunately we encountered a loose screw. The very helpful manager has helped us tremendously. Put compressor next to the camper so that we can go to the tire shop early Monday morning (5 kilometers from here).

Cool place, without power got a spot for the barn with fabulous views.

As motor home owners, we are not looking for a clean toilet, a hot shower or a place to wash dishes. We all do that in our own camper. We like it when we stand on grass, when there is some shade and it is somewhat quiet. And that's it here, just 4 km from Zakopane. And if the water intake, the discharge and the emptying of the toilet are also properly arranged, then a place scores high with us. Enjoy it!

Lovely spot on the river. Nicest place if you are self sufficient. Dogs are not welcome.

In addition to other reviews. They are correct but good to supplement. There is no possibility to empty the chemical toilet. That may / must be in the normal toilet.

Also beautiful place at the end of October. Lonely but fortunately we are with friends!
Sitecode: 50616
Well cared for and in a beautiful old town. You walk in less than 5 minutes in the beautifully lit medieval town in the evening. Also recommended in the late season!

Wonderfully quiet mini campsite with 25 pitches. Owners live nearby and are very service-oriented. Large pond where you can stand next to, but you are also on the edge. Sanitary new and good. Water and drainage at every location. Super arranged! About 1.5 kilometers from Lichtenvoorde. Owners have bicycle routes.

We are here for the 2nd time. Toilet block very clean. Space enough on the field!
Sitecode: 69878
Well-kept campsite for caravans and campers, but pricey. We were here three nights in early August 2018. Hardened pitches with a piece of grass. Great base to visit West Bay (Broadchurch recording location) and the Jurassic Coast. Beautiful walking environment. Cycling with the e-bike is also fine. Sanitary well cared for and nice and good restaurant in the attic of the main building (pub food).

Everything has been said and it is all true. Nice village Llyndhurst at 4 kilometers away with all amenities.
Sitecode: 53164
Nice place, £ 15 for 2 people and our camper without electricity. Entrance is a challenge for campers longer than 7.5 meters and an absolute no go for campers longer than 8.5 meters! Nice clear lawn. Some pitches with gravel. Very friendly reception.
Sitecode: 29868
From here the lock complex Caen Hill locks visited. A bit of improvisation to avoid A, but after a beautiful 22 kilometer trip we were there. Stone Henge is also easy to do with the bike. Comment on the campsite of the others: agree.
Sitecode: 48735
Beautiful spacious and paved pitches with electricity and drainage on the site. Excellent toilet block. Not brandnew but clean and tidy.
Sitecode: 50908
Small campsite directly on a busy road. On the photos it seems much bigger than it is. In season you stand close together.
Sitecode: 51242
Euro 10 pp, we paid € 20. Description is correct. Supplement some noise nuisance from nearby airport. Thursday afternoon 26/7 every 5 to 10 minutes an ascending holiday flight.
Sitecode: 24586
The view is fantastic! You pay a lot for that (€ 27 without power in July) but that should not spoil the fun.
Sitecode: 53859
Small lawn with electricity next to and from the pub. No toilet or shower. However, all discharges and water intake. Located along a not too busy road.
Sitecode: 9876
Fine place right on the sea! Height no problem, after payment to the indeed very helpful and friendly man at the gate, the barrier opens and there is no height restriction. Text is wrong and photo is misleading. Please accept this!
Sitecode: 52338
Downside of this campsite is the proximity to the motorway. You hear good and always! After 2 nights decided to leave. We had prepaid 6 nights and did not receive the remainder. Was in the rules on the internet. That is indeed true. What is also true is that it is all nicely organized and neat. Maybe something too? As far as we are concerned, therefore, not recommended.
Sitecode: 60055
That also works! Super reception, beautiful paved large and flat spots and beautiful grass in your own place. Water and electricity on the spot! And good food in the restaurant with meat from our own farm. Is there nothing to be desired? No actually not !
Sitecode: 51735
Great view Sanitary of recent date and well clean. Just climb on the way to camping (good to do, even with larger camper). Free bus transfer to upper village. Bread service.
Sitecode: 27442
Only in the world and in the middle of the high season! With 4 guests the occupancy is 10%. Beautiful in the green and rippling stream to sleep well. The manager will be charged between 08:00 and 08:30. No barrier and no formalities! More CP than a campsite!
Sitecode: 20246
We were here on 7 and 8 August 2017. We would rather not camp at a campsite. We are self-sufficient and do not want demarcated places. But ... nice green, nice cycling environment (well hilly, battery needed) and good atmosphere. Also in this frightful season for France every day free places. Sanitary not used, just looked. Nothing wrong with it. Swimming in swimming pool and dam reservoir possible!
Sitecode: 2408
All descriptions are correct (end of July 2017). We have an addition: 'Mis and Bouteille' is a noisy process that starts at 06:00 on Monday morning. Too bad that the forklift truck that enters the pallets with bottles has a reversal "beep". It expresses the fun that others describe so strikingly, quite a bit.
Sitecode: 10534
All descriptions are still striking on July 18, 2017! Place enough. We stand with 3 campers.
Sitecode: 28010
Simply super! Here 27 and 28 April on the way to Provence slept two nights on the way May 4, 2017 again. The reviews from last year apply this year in full. You might want to keep the fact secret! There is now the ability to discharge the laiterie (500 meters from the CP) waste water and take in fresh water. For this you pay 2 euros.
Sitecode: 20986
This CP deserves a higher rating! Top place to visit Marseille. Discharge / filling is well organized. With bus 22 or 22S into the underground. Ticket on the bus costs € 2 and is valid for one hour. In the end-stop bushing 22 / 22S you get on the subway to the old port or take bus 83 (oblique crossing). OV day ticket costs 5.20. Stop in first at Tabac before running on CP. Our RV is 8.5 mtr: I'm fine!
Sitecode: 25034
Nice quiet place. We were here on 4/25/17. Camp closed. Around 1900 hours someone comes along to settle. € 6 - € 9.60 inclusive and without power.
Sitecode: 5796
Autumn 2016: good place, 3 km bike from the main square. No amenities, but they are not far away.
Sitecode: 9119
Fine place, 450 meter you in restaurant Gundlalm fine food. We were here on a Wednesday.
Sitecode: 24944
Autumn 2015 Great little place in the middle in the mountains enjoying the peace and autumn colors. We were on our way from Nice to the Col de la Bonette. Is indeed doing fine per camper!
Sitecode: 15400
Beautiful village and views! In the quiet night, around seven o'clock, you wake up with the village! We stood at P3. That's the top of the village. We have been on the highest terrace (= not the marked place). Close to the beautiful village of Mons with magnificent views over the surrounding area.
Sitecode: 24209
We have been here on July 31, 2015. Fine places. You can hear the M6, but not bothersome. Nice reception. The 10 pounds more than worth it!
Sitecode: 18526
We were here in early August 2015. This is a lovely spot. We made the crossing of the Lake District to York. It is very quiet. You wake up the sheep.
