The campsite itself is absolutely stunning and the most beautiful place we've ever experienced. However, the access road is difficult and nerve-wracking, especially if you have a large motorhome. You have to expect branches in the road and drive very slowly. Grocery stores are only accessible by vehicle.

Friendly owners; we were parked in a separate area for large motorhomes with plenty of space around us. However, the nearest shops are a 20-minute walk away, and driving through Riga to the campsite is a nightmare for large motorhomes. Many streets are closed to trucks, and you practically have to declare yourself a bus. I don't know if you'd even make it through...

You'll now find a friendly note on your windshield asking you to pay €10 at the customer information desk. It's worth it, though, because the campsite was almost empty on Whit Monday evening and is in a lovely location. The access road is a bit narrow for large motorhomes, but manageable.
