Large campsite, excellent sanitary facilities, nice swimming spot by the lake. Cycling is often on roads with cars, unfortunately. The campsite overlooks the city's industrial area. There are many pleasant terraces in the city.

same story as often: emailed to make a reservation, was not possible and just had to come. there were several places available on the spot, but they were reserved?! we have not visited Bilbao and do not have a pleasant image of this kind of Spaniards

email sent to book: not possible, camper placed the next day because there were 6 places available. wanting to pay at the hostel: couldn't the places were reserved and those empty places could come back in the evening?! you get a strong feeling of being tricked

As a motor home you have to pay in advance for the nights you think you want to stay. we wanted to leave after one night, had paid for two nights but got nothing in return. campsite was full on arrival, after we had a sleepless night due to noise nuisance, did they suddenly have room?! we left, felt very uncomfortable there. Even got a sense of scam.

Nice place for stopover to the south. Center within walking distance. Nice city center.
