We were able to stay there in reasonable peace; there was a lot of noise from loitering teenagers in the evening, but during the day we could sit in front of the camper just fine. The barrier is a bit of a hassle, but after fiddling around for a bit, the check-in screen is self-explanatory. The asphalt isn't really our thing, and when I took the bikes off the car, I realized very quickly why: it was 16°C but felt like almost 30°C. The price is also a bit on the high side; €10 would have been more reasonable.

It's great that at least a CP has been retained for Emmen, but the rate is too high for what you get. For example, there are no toilets, and the wastewater disposal site is also difficult to drive on. Furthermore, the sites are entirely on asphalt, making it incredibly hot in the summer. Unfortunately, this CP is currently out of our budget.

Great location, no idea why it's listed as a service area. There's free electricity and a beautiful viewpoint. The four pitches are spacious enough for a campervan up to about 8 meters long. There's no shared toilet or wastewater tank emptying facility, which you might expect at a service area.

It's a beautiful parking lot on the Rhine. By beautiful, I mean just the view of the Rhine. Otherwise, there's nothing beautiful: a paved surface of broken rubble, no amenities whatsoever—not even a trash bin in sight!? If you like trains and lots of noise, you should definitely park here. About every five minutes, a freight or passenger train, or even two, all running at full speed. Enjoy this... place!

Dear municipality of Emmen, thank you for allowing us to stay at this beautiful location for years. We have regularly used it to visit the market, the park, the zoo, the shopping center and the skating rink. We find it a pity that this place is now disappearing and leave behind many beautiful memories. Unfortunately, the new location is less suitable for our family with 2 children. Nevertheless, thank you very much for years of pleasure.

great spot next to the outdoor pool. locals are very friendly and I understand from the stories that there is even talk about expanding the camper place

great place especially with children. the parking lot is next to the largest public playground in Denmark. we have had nothing but nice and quiet here and no problems with loitering youth

beautiful quiet place. unfortunately the caves are closed on mondays but we will definitely visit them next time.

we have been coming here for a long time with great pleasure, especially our children enjoy the train that travels past every half hour during the day. we think it is a shame that this place is going to disappear and a new place with a barrier is coming. we would like to thank the municipality of Emmen very much for the years that we were allowed to stand here and hope that the new place will be just as successful as this place

An older campsite without a review!? we hoped for a quiet campsite but nothing could be further from the truth, the boom boom music can be heard all over the campsite. the place assigned to us was already occupied when asked, the shoulders were shrugged and we were assigned a very slanted, unofficial place, I could not put our camper there somewhat straight. beautiful quiet place with very nice and hospitable owners. pity that more campers have not found this place yet, it is really worth it. there are also restrictions, no electricity, 1 dry toilet and water from a well. but this will not be a problem for most campers. the drenth

it seems like a very nice place unfortunately we couldn't stand here now because Christmas will be here soon and many of the attractions have already arrived after asking around it turned out that trucks would come this way today and tomorrow.

a beautiful and quiet camper place that is owned by the local scouting. shower and toilet are in the scouting building, these are well maintained and hot water is more than sufficient. you can pay at the bar in the sports center where the swimming pool is also located. the pitches are very spacious and after a little looking around we also found the electrical cabinets.

great place nearby is the lidl, aldi net and the kik. there is also a playground for the children within walking distance. we had a great time here.

In this beautiful place you cannot use a shower or toilet in the winter. there is WiFi and you can empty the chemical toilet. the info desk is not open.

In itself not a wrong place shops close to and free electricity (which does it again :-) but on the busy street

Very nice and quiet place in a beautiful setting! Nice and clean bathroom and friendly owner. A camping like him should be in my eyes, a lot of green and no marked numbered places.
