I agree with most reviews. Large field. You stand in rows, but the open atmosphere near the beach and dunes makes up for it. And definitely try the food from the Thai food truck. Delicious Thai food for little money. Friendly couple. Food is vacuum-sealed so it is still warm when you open it at your camper pitch 😋 Highly recommended!

Top campsite. Good facilities. We enjoyed staying by the river. Everything is grass; a real nature feeling again. Quite nice after all that grey gravel at many campsites. Find a spot first. Reception open between 19:00 and 20:00.

Because of the 5 stars, we went to this campsite, taking a bit of a detour. Unfortunately, we didn't look at the photos. The facilities are indeed good, but I have seen the same or better at plenty of other campsites in the Netherlands. The view of the high mountains is indeed beautiful, but what totally put us off was the uninviting, soulless grounds: a grey gravel area with some artificial grass mats laid out 2.5 meters apart. Fortunately, there was no one there.

We fully agree with the previous reviews. The facilities will be finished next week, but they continue to improve. This is a fantastic place not to be missed if you visit Vesterålen. Beautiful hiking opportunities and a good shop very close by. A camping atmosphere and opportunity that hardly exists anymore.
