This camper site is located a few hundred meters from the A1 and serves as the hotel's parking lot. We enjoyed some delicious grilled schnitzel and chicken there. Electricity was only available while the hotel was open, so we did not use it.

July 2026. The previous review largely remains the same. There are a few minor changes. The price including electricity is NOK 400 and NOK 10 per person for a 4-minute shower. So my price is NOK 420. There is only one shower; my wife had to wait a bit, I (m) didn't. Although the sanitary facilities are a bit old, they are good. The reception is friendly. We are torn between a 3 or a 4. We never give a five.

I probably had bad luck while showering, but the water turned ice cold every now and then. At my wife's place, however, it was nice and warm at the same time. Otherwise, everything is quite decent, but the sanitary facilities are what we primarily judge a campsite on. Hence the low score, especially when you also take the high price into account.

The campsite is beautifully situated by the fjord. Standard amenities are available and free, but there is no Wi-Fi. One curtained shower and one toilet per man/woman. Steep access, yep. Two camping pitches directly on the fjord, the rest on a slightly elevated terrace.

The campsite is located on a dead-end road 7 km from the 87, by a lake. It is beautifully situated and the facilities are good. It is primarily a campsite with regular guests. Showers cost 10 NOK per four minutes in one service house and 5 NOK per four minutes in the other. There is a kitchen in the 10 NOK service house. The price is 350 NOK including electricity for a camper with two people.

We stayed at Nordkapp Camping for two days. Good facilities, no problem. We were assigned a specific pitch. What I do find problematic is that they block access to the path in front of the service house for campers. That is not a problem for me, but it is for my wife, who has mobility issues. Why those campers are allowed to park there in an undefined spot is a mystery to me.

There is little to add to the CamperWale review. You can register online or in the kiosk 200 m further along the E12. Washing machine costs SEK 40 and works with code. That went wrong a few times, but in the kiosk everything was eventually resolved. Besides the personal contact, another reason to register in the kiosk? It is a winter campsite, so SEK 15 discount in the summer. We never give 5/5.

You shouldn't stand at the top with a few shabby caravans. Downstairs it is pleasant to stand with a number of screened places or directly on the beach. Excellent restaurant for fika, food and drinks. Takk. Manager and cook are nice people. Price camper with electricity NOK 295.

June 2025Go-dexter's review still applies. It is quiet now, so facilities are not a problem, but with a toilet and a shower it can be tight.

We were warmly welcomed at the campsite by Jennifer. After we had placed the camper, the el-cable was laid out from the shed and connected to ours. We picked various herbs and prepared a tasty camping dinner with them. The shower/laundry room is downstairs in the house. There are also washing and steam machines. The laundry washed & dried, SEK 40. With 2 carts, 4 and 8 dogs a 'sled ride' made. We never give 5/5

The Cafe sign along the road does not do justice to what Polar Station offers. The German managers are hospitable, friendly and helpful. We decide to camp for a night. The guesthouse is warmed up and we have a nice fika. On the advice of the managers we drive to the Storforsen, the largest waterfall in the Nordic countries. On the way back we make our camper dinner, chat with the host m/f and get ready for the night. We never give 5/5.

Simple camper place or parking lot about 10 km from Lindesberg. No facilities, costs nothing.

Price NOK 280, without electricity. Norwegian campsite owners apparently like to hang coin boxes for showers and then say showers are included. For that you have to go to the reception and have a chat with a friendly Norwegian. Beautiful people.

prizes: it is better not to give them anymore. Nothing beats this year. Standard occupancy NOK 400, including showers. Still like 15 or so years ago. Since Hans, the places are a bit random and an oversized camper just crawls between the neighbor and us.

Prices are apparently subject to inflation this year. Standard price is now NOK 360 + 2*10 (showers) or NOK 380 for camper, caravan. Everything else said in other reviews. After Hans it is quiet here in mid-August.

The campsite is located directly on the E6, so there is some traffic noise. The facilities are sober and proper. Showers NOK 5. Places can be chosen freely. Connections for electric sometimes a bit further away and limited in number (no idea how many exactly).

Nice campsite. A shower costs 50 cents per 5 minutes, with ingenious contact device. Too bad they don't mention that when it is released.

mooie parkeerplaats dichtbij af- en oprit A2. Enigszins last van de A2 maar niet te storend.
