What a dreary place. A messy asphalted area with sloping spots on either side. On one side, there are only two power outlets. There is a water tap, but without a hose attached. To get in, I had to buy an entry pass for 5 euros, which subsequently didn't work. I was let in via the intercom, though. The same thing happened upon leaving. They won't be seeing me here again.

I was here in March, when the campsite was actually still closed, but if I was self-sufficient regarding sanitary facilities, I could still come. I was received very kindly with tips for walks in the area. Barre-les-Cevennes is a beautiful little town with a small shop/bar. Facilities for campers are basic but present.

I emailed this campsite at two addresses and also called, but was unable to get in touch in any way. The phone number is out of service. It seems that, after being closed for the entire year of 2025, they are still not open (and also unreachable). However, nothing is mentioned about this on the website.

This is not much more than a fenced-off parking lot with power hookups. There are no other facilities. You are not allowed to use the toilets and showers of the adjacent campsite. The grounds are completely devoid of atmosphere. Paid 15.00 via a machine. Quite a lot for what you get.

Great place for an overnight stay. Very quiet. Clean toilet in the adjacent Marie (accessible from the outside) and trash cans. I didn't see any other facilities.
