Great campsite. Spacious pitches. If you follow the campsite's own directions in the app, you will come to a closed gate and see the campsite... just drive back a bit to the left and then left again.

Location is excellent. Spacious pitches. Friendly reception is at the entrance of the swimming pool, so not at the barrier of the campsite but earlier. Maybe we were unlucky given other commentators but the sanitary facilities were far from clean. No toilet paper, one toilet did not flush, another poorly. No microwave or oven in the kitchen. Not convenient for such an expensive campsite (campervan with 2 p €45, with electricity). Could be better!

I don't think much has changed if I read my predecessors. The charm of a nice terrain and nice people, but some maintenance could be done. The chemical toilet, for example, is medieval. 🥴 In the seventeenth-century cottage there is a bar and a seating area. An old piece of Ireland to cherish. (And there is a cloud of a four-month-old black dog walking around).

Four stars for the beautiful location of the site, maybe even five. The layout is well organised with one-way traffic, the facilities are a bit spread out. We have been here before but we were now told somewhat sharply that we can no longer go without a reservation. New rules and numbered places. Previously free. Sanitary facilities in order. Access remains a bit difficult. Three stars for reception.

Clean, (over)organized campsite with lots of rules and signs. Large well-equipped self-catering areas and kitchen. Very hot, small, coin-free showers. Distance from furthest pitches to facilities quite large. Strict, rather impersonal reception.

Busy medium-sized campsite with nice places where we could just get a spot on a normal Tuesday early June. Willing host. 36 euros including electricity and shower. Grey water and chemical toilet emptying outside the entrance on the other side.

Three stars because of the five or so places with a beautiful view of the bay. These places cost 36 euros, including electricity, regardless of whether you need it. Upstairs you can stand without electricity for 30 euros. A lady who thought that was unfair was still assigned a place. The sanitary facilities are not modern modular work, no, but clean and spacious. The tractor kitchen really needs improvement. Still, I have been here more often and I am satisfied.

a great place to stay overnight for at least six campers. officially forbidden but tolerated. the Garda made a round and left us alone. there were five campers. grass at the beach turned out to be a dog walking area. we saw a lot of them!

Not so much wrong with this pretty and conveniently located campsite actually, but charging 10 euros per night for electricity (almost on the longest day 😊), I find that disproportionate. So we paid €37 without electricity. We find that, typical Dutch, quite expensive.
