Aire alongside quay just outside the old fort town of Gravelines, which is pretty surrounded by moat system alongside the Fort walls, couple of min walk away. Ideal 1st or last stop for Ferries/train, can have road noise, on our visit July, no campers parked on original red tarmac area but behind on grass, although it looks like there’s a choice. No services but at separate location in town.

Perfect Free Aire for first or last stop before Ferries, no services at the Aire itself but there is a dump/fresh filling a few minutes drive away in Gravelines. Cycle path alongside takes you into town then on along the quay area, water sports lake next door with lots going on in Summer. Quiet, grassy, spacious marked parking, shops, restaurants in town. 20 mins to Calais ferry.

Great Free Aire with water, waste, electric if required, new looking and very neat, hard standings to park, few minutes walk from a small town, next to a road so could be some road noise but otherwise ideal stop for the night. Fresh water 10cents per 8L, 2€ gives 160L, toilet water water free, electric chargeable but unsure of price, couldn’t find a label to say & we didn’t need it.

Excellent location this Stellplatz is next to vineyards on a lovely wine route, no services but co-operative selling their wine a couple of mins walk away, also village with tourist info, restaurants, cash machine, nice grassy parking and Free, feels spacious, peaceful and beautiful setting next to vines, although there is a well kept graveyard next door too, ensuring peaceful night.

We drove here on a Sunday but no real Stellplatz although there was a sign in their car park but only campers of the dealer were actually parked there, couldn’t find any dedicated parking otherwise, good camper shop there which we went back to on Monday as closed Sunday! Also service centre if needed.

Ideal Free Stellplatz a few minutes walk to a very pleasant walled town with good supermarket, excellent greengrocers, cafes, restaurants and tourist information office. Large camper bays, electric points, possible charge, we didn’t use them, waste/dump/fresh water (€1), clean toilets in town opposite tourist info, toilets next to Stellplatz but locked on our visit. Lots of cycle routes from town

Camper Sosta alongside a river with bridge over to the town, lovely setting surrounded by mountains, we parked on a large gravel area beyond the service point, quiet, church bells but nothing in the night. Proper Italian Sosta dump/fresh water filling point signed ‘Wash’ + extra water fountain, no electric. About 15 mins drive from Alleghe lake.

Spacious level Camper Sosta on the edge of town in the Prosecco wine growing region, lovely wine driving routes. Sosta is now barrier entry payable at machine €10 per 24 hours or €4 for service use (gives 1hr), barrier open on our visit July 2018, didn’t stay the night just passing by on the wine route but looked fine, quiet, electric with individual water taps, w/c & waste dump

This looks like it is a caravan/campervan storage facility that is set up for an overnight stay. So looks quite full with vans when you arrive but quickly realise you would be the only people there. We didn’t stay. The arrival to adjacent park by police ‘talking’ to some men loitering sealed our decision.

Excellent Sosta for fabulous Verona, parking with dump/fresh, no electric, nice long spaces & shade from trees, barrier entrance. 15 minutes walk to Verona centre, completely stunning, lots of beautiful buildings, Roman Arena with opera through certain days in July/Aug, train station close for day trips further afield. Fabulous flowers around the Sosta on our July 1st visit, dump/fresh area, electric, shower €1, hole in ground w/c. Stayed here for 1 night awful place to find as signs are hard to see, the entrance barrier is too complex and the price is quite high, looks like it’s an old caravan park. On the plus side it has extremely clean toilets and showers washing up facilities, electric, water and a dump station, easy walk into town or walk/cycle into Riva del Garda,(market day Wednesday) windsurf/hike/MTB heaven!
