this is lovely compact and well run campsite. The hostess Sylvie was most welcoming and helpful and all facilities worked perfectly. I parked beside the house, just a stopover but the countryside was lovely with owls hooting otherwise a peaceful night. No charge for shower or electricity, so โฌ16 all in. I also bought a delicious home made fig jam and some eggs. one slight disadvantage is you need cash as cards are not acceptable. thanks Sylvie.

this is an on/off kind of place in winter /early spring as itโs only open then at weekends despite there being a demand and plenty of campers willing to fill its spaces. nice staff and good facilities. if it was fully open weekdays I would give it 4 stars

I enjoyed this place so I stayed almost 2 weeks last March (2023) and got to see a lot more of Valencia too. very well run campsite, nice helpful people, good facilities and a little shop and restaurant with vitals. The proximity of metro is a huge advantage as the area itself hasnโt much to recommend it. the nearest shops/supermarkets are 1 stop away on the metro as parking for a largish camper is awkward there.

An excellent place to discharge grey water & waste and refuel. very limited parking spaces but all with electricity. only downside is no showers/toilets and no washing machines. cheap fuel. there is also a general parking area across the road with roughish ground used by trucks and local workers (itโs an I dustrial zone) but just 30 minutes walk into Velez Malaga. Lidl and Dia supermarkets nearby.

This is a well run friendly campsite but can be cramped if full. The owners are German and most guests are German too. There are lots of dogs but no sign of fouling except on the campo outside. there is restaurant/bar and pool on site and plenty of places to walk nearby. The local town is picturesque and very Spanish so tourists are not so obvious except on the seafront. Saturday market is large and great for fruit and vegetables. Enjoy!

Very nice safe and compact in the lovely village of La Herraduras. the owners are diligent friendly and helpful and there seems to be a good turnover of campers so it has not become a shanty town as other places have. very nice for a few days when touring. facilities are well maintained and clean but just keeping up with demand. only 5 star because of tight spaces but La Herraduras compensates.

itโs a nice clean parking area with up to twenty campers. its also a busy spot even at night for some reason but itโs the car park for Sendera de las Dunas nature park, a reserve with extensive boardwalk adjoining the nearby sandy beach. There several bars nearby. ok for a night or two because of these features and the background traffic noise.

basic small cramped and busy campsite with noisy roosters on one side but otherwise helpful friendly owner. stayed 2. nights - seemed to have a core of long term residents but everything works. a small village. The shingle beach is just across the road and very nice and there are several bars/restaurants nearby.
