The campsite layout is fine. Beautifully situated by the Gota Canal. The pitches are spacious. But… the sanitary facilities are downright filthy. The showers are full of hair, and the shower curtains are yellowed. The chemical toilet dump is full and very dirty. This was very disappointing.

You can dispose of greywater and toilet waste here (confirmed by the Säffle municipality). Fresh drinking water can be refilled at the side of the building. Thank you, Säffle municipality.

Very nice spot in the village of Saffle. The supermarket is within walking distance, so that was ideal. The camper pitch is located in a quiet neighborhood close to the woods where you can hike very nice routes. A great spot for our stopover on our way to Norway. We were able to stay here comfortably for just €15. The friendly owner speaks Dutch, German, English, and a little Swedish.

What a beautiful place, received a very friendly welcome with coffee. A stunning view over the adjacent lake. Ideal for a stop if you are traveling through from Sweden to Norway or vice versa. Highly recommended!
