We have chosen this motorhome because of its location. 6 km away, cycling along the cycle path which was an old train track from Korbach. A nice, worth seeing city. For a visit to the Edersee you also cycle on an old train track (with a small detour) to it. At the Edersee (Scheid) it is one big camping village, no longer cozy. The shortest way to the Edersee is a nice route, a little more climbing and descending. The camper place is very good, friendly welcome, soon a chat with the owner, who comes every night to ask if you want sandwiches. The road along the camper place is hardly bothering you, especially at night.

This site visited around 24 October 2018. Excellent sanitary facilities. Heated. Good terrain. Sheltered from the wind. Covered and closed, secure bicycle parking with power supply. In preparation tapping point and discharge for campers. Starting point for walks in the area, visit to the resistance museum Aalten, visit to Bocholt textile museum.

This campsite is located in a forest area, so little sun on your spots. When reporting, think about which place you want: large or small. great price difference. For our 7-meter camper we had enough of a small spot: € 28.00. The campsite is divided into sections: we were bothered by our neighbors, on the other side of the hedge. We found this camper place far from pleasant. No view anywhere except the citadel. Furthermore, a nice place for one night. We have been completely satisfied with this camper place. Beautiful view of the village and the castle (to be visited for € 5.00). In the entrance to the camper place / parking area is narrow and steep. Great to do for a camper up to 7 meters, with longer campers it is more difficult to take a turn down, especially when you leave the site. So first check if it is feasible. Free electricity / water / dumping of chemical toilet and waste water. At the top of the road, under the tourist office is a toilet, it is open day and night. (1 minute walk). Particularly nice village / castle to visit, especially in the evening when most tourists are away. At the VVV you get information about a walk around the foot of the hill, on which the castle stands. Who wants to stay at this camper place is advised to come early in the afternoon, otherwise there is no place. It is also just a parking lot. At the end of the village there is also a parking area where campers stand, only you are close to the main road.

We found this camper place great. Some places have shade. Service point available. The cozy village and the location on the river Lot attracted us. At the VVV a walk requested. A walk of more than 2 hours, fun to do but tiring because of the sometimes steep roads / trails. This small village attracts many tourists. Former President Bompidou had his (outside) house here. Cozy to do your shopping with the local shopkeepers, that is something different than his extensive supermarket ............

This camper place was in our opinion not the best place. Many French people come here for one night to buy everything very cheaply here. Large parking lot (€ 20.00 per night). For us this place was not a success: torrential rain / fog / cold. It is a large car park, enough space for everyone. Yet it performs a Frenchman to park his camper at 80 cm next to us, while there is still room for more freedom. That close to each other by Fransen have experienced several times.

Who loves walking, this site is a nice location. At the weekend in high season very busy with visitors, who come to walk / bathe in the river / camping. The Spaniards are used to being close to each other. If you are lucky, there is just one meter between you and your neighbors. In dry weather it does a lot of driving like the many cars on the dusty main road and access road to the parking lot. You are actually burying dust. The access road from Torla is unpaved / many potholes / narrow on some stretches. Not recommended for inexperienced motor home owners / or people with a caravan. You can order bread at the campsite and pick up around 8.30 am.

First of all, we are very satisfied with this motorhome. nice view of the surroundings. Free, (water / electricity), so do not be difficult if the farmer wants to sell his products. We participated in the tour of the company (sheep breeding / cheese factory / shop with local products). Of course you buy something in the store! As motorhomes we do not want to show ourselves from the wrong side, that it should be as cheap as possible with the best service. Be careful that these people open up their territory to us.

This camper place is very suitable if you are on the road. The camper spots are extended to 7 places. When we were there (July 28, 2018) people were busy installing and connecting a sanitary wagon.

We think this is one of the best camper spots, which we visited in August 2018. Contrary to what I saw in the photos, we were on the lawn. The camper place is a short walk from the village. Very nice to walk around here. In the area you can make walks from an hour to several hours. Unfortunately we had to leave because an annual market was being held on the lawn. We would have liked to stay a bit longer, but did not feel like taking a seat on the parking lot and then waking up at 6 o'clock from the opening of the annual fair.

This camper place is in a nice, beautiful village. Nice to walk around here, it looks very authentic. The camper place itself is a general car park at the fire station. Here you can stay peacefully and safely.

This camper place is an acceptable location for a stop to visit this place / city. The town is within walking distance. The terrain itself is paved, but it is rather sandy when it is driven over. I noticed that there is a lot of litter.

We camped on this camp on 28 and 29 August. Our impression of this campsite is not particularly positive. You have to keep in mind that you are getting a not too expensive place. They ask how long your camper is, and then you get an expensive place. With a camper of 7 meters we can be satisfied with a smaller place, especially when it comes to two nights. Many places are not flat and difficult to reach. In strong rainfall, the campsite turns into small 'streams' and becomes a mud pool. You have to search for a dash of sun with all those trees. I could not find water tapes, as did the chemical toilet disposal site. The refuse containers are located near the swimming pool. I do not think that is really fresh. And talking about the price: € 59.20 per night. Is that because it is close to Paris, and you can easily get there by train. Those trains can be heard clearly. The access road to the campsite is not really touching for large camper, or car with large caravan, narrow streets with one-way traffic. the turns are difficult to take. (In Rambouillet is also a campsite of the same company with almost the same conditions: duration, intermediate trees, narrow paths, insufficient water taps.

Visited July 13th, 17th. This campsite is located near a swimming pool / wellness center. Here you are not affected, because access is on the other side of the building. There is power. Good, quiet location a 15-minute walk from the center. Nice old town to walk around. In the morning, it was a bit busier because of the many students who went to the big school location.

From 1 Aug 17 stayed 2 nights. The reception is remote. A good base for cycling. Bike cycling, by boat back to Podersdorf. In the evening you will receive a lot of people for dinner. Until late in the evening a go and come from people (by car). It's not really quiet. Also the road next to / along the location is busy. Perhaps the camper location is even more quiet.

We arrived unexpectedly, no problem to stay. Narrow raid through the fence. Motorhome up to 7m only. Sanitation is simple enough. Beautiful grassland, shade of some trees. Calm spot. The cocks crowed early.
