Well-maintained campsite with a glamping area. Very nicely laid out, with an exceptionally friendly owner. The mediocre sanitary facilities are still being renovated. No Wi-Fi. The campsite is now called Erwl Glas Camping Park. A member of the Camping and Caravanning Club (CS). Beautiful mountain views, but right next to a main road. A good base for visiting Conwy Castle.

Quiet, well-maintained campsite with good sanitary facilities. No Wi-Fi. Next to a charming old tourist steam train station. We were here in September 25th and paid £30 per night (2 people).

A campsite you'd recommend to your best friend. Peace, space, and cleanliness. The grounds, restrooms, and Wi-Fi were all top-notch. We were there in September 2025 and, as CCC members, paid £25 per night (2 people). The surrounding area is beautiful and especially popular with hikers. You get what you expect.

A simple, well-maintained grassy site with basic, but clean, sanitary facilities, located on a fairly busy road. Both Bath and Bristol are accessible by bike, partly via a disused railway line. Beware! Some routes to Bristol are steep and challenging. The elderly caretaker accepts cash only.

Let your friends know about this. A perfectly maintained, quiet city campsite with free, strong Wi-Fi and spotless sanitary facilities. Just a 20-minute bike ride from Cambridge city center on a beautiful cycle path (along a bus lane). A 2-hour drive from Dover.

Location, campsite, friendliness, and wonderful sanitary facilities. A downside might be the very poor Wi-Fi. A beautiful location for excursions through the Black Mountains. A 10-minute walk to Llandovery. Kings Head recommended.

Douze points location. Beautiful, tranquil nature campsite with an extremely friendly manager. Very spacious pitches among apple trees and lush vegetation, good sanitary facilities, washing machine, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, and a tiny shop with regional products. Wi-Fi only at reception. Accessible only to adults over 30. Nature is paramount here. Bouton-on-the-Water is a 30-minute walk away (a fairly steep road). £30 per night (2 people)

A very clean campsite with excellent sanitary facilities, good Wi-Fi, and a beautiful location on the Thames. The nearby M25 can be a challenge, especially for roof sleepers. Even during off-peak hours, there are many low-flying Heathrow planes. A 55-minute bike ride along the Thames to Windsor and 45 minutes to Hampton Court Palace. Despite our CCC membership, it's still £35 per night for two people. The Kingfisher restaurant is highly recommended.

Farmer Sam and Marieke. A phenomenon. Their presence and dedication to service already deserve 5 stars. Don't be swayed by any preconceptions about the mess on a farm. This farm campsite is simply TOP-notch. Swimming pool, restrooms, electricity, Wi-Fi, patio. Everything is there. Here, anything is allowed, anything is possible, nothing is required, everything is good. Fries, BBQ, bistro evening, cheap cold drinks. Sam & Marieke, thank you for your wonderful hospitality.
