Fantastic place! Great for kids, there's an inflatable trampoline in the adjacent lake, a slide, swings, a small beach, a small harbor, and canoes for guests to use. It's great that there's a washing machine, and payment is by envelope. The bathroom facilities are a bit small when the space is sufficient; the dishwater was cold, but that's the only point to be aware of. We thought this was a fantastic place!

A lovely (though large) campsite with a beautiful field by the sea for campers. It does get crowded in the strong wind. The sanitary facilities are clean, modern, tidy, and spacious. Showers are via chip card and cost NOK 40 per minute. Overnight stays cost NOK 500, and electricity is free. There's a (takeaway) restaurant on the campsite. All in all, it's expensive, but it's a nice place!

Upon arrival in desolate Hirtshals, the campsite was a warm surprise. At the entrance, it was marked "full," but we had made a reservation and were assigned a spot. Friendly staff, beautiful location at the foot of the lighthouse and by the sea. Fresh green grass where all the campers were pitched. Sanitary facilities: too few showers, but perfectly fine. You have to buy tokens for showers; it would be better if they were included in the price. All in all: highly recommended!

Good tip from the previous owner: you have to empty and fill tanks before the barrier. The location at the harbor is pleasant. It's cluttered and basic, so I find €30 rather expensive. The sanitary facilities at the marina aren't very clean, but the showers are good. The children had a great time playing near the rocks, and there's a small swimming area that many locals also use; very pleasant. Depending on your spot: beautiful views!

If you don't expect anything, it's fine. I think it's usually a winter storage area for boats. There's nothing there, and as far as I've noticed, no security checks either. It's free, and in Kiel's overcrowded, fully-parked city, it's a great alternative. The beautiful adjacent park has a cozy restaurant! The harbors and Kieler Fjord are just a stone's throw away, perfect for walking or running. We thought it was perfectly fine!
