Campercontact bases these processing operations on the following bases. 

  • Data processing is necessary to pursue a legitimate interest. 
  • The collection of certain data is necessary to offer visitors to Campercontact.com relevant information based on the use of the websites. Also, that registration serves statistical purposes to track and adapt the use of the websites to the needs of visitors.

  • Campercontact processes personal data on the basis of consent. The registration of profiling characteristics requires explicit consent. 
  • Campercontact does not provide personal data to third parties.

Even after the membership ends, the data will be kept for the legally required period of seven years. After that, the data of deleted or anonymized.

You may make such a request as described below. To protect our customers' Personal Information, we must verify your identity before we can respond to your request.

You have the right in certain circumstances to request that we delete any Personal Information we have collected directly from you. You may make such a request as described below. To protect our customers' Personal Information, we must verify your identity before we can act on your request. We may be required for legal reasons not to comply with your request, or to do so in a more limited manner than you expected. If this is the case, we will explain this to you in our response.

Campercontact will then work with the person concerned to find a solution. If that is not satisfactory, there is still the possibility to file a complaint with the privacy regulator, the Data Protection Authority.
