We had a pleasant experience here, got a high five after a joke. It is nice that the reception is open all day. We were allowed to choose a spot ourselves, some have a picnic table. We looked out over the railway bridge. Trains do indeed pass by every now and then but they go fast so it is only for a short while, after that there is peace and birds whistling. I think it depends on how you experience it. Swimming pool is great for cooling off.
