There are two campervan parking areas in Miravet. One is in Cami de les Illetes, 500 meters from the charming village square. There are only garbage bins. Despite the main road, it's a quiet and safe spot. And one is in El Barranquet, in an orchard, opposite a small supermarket, 200 meters from the village center, with no amenities.

excellent place in all respects. they deserve 10 stars. but if you have been traveling around Frkrk/Spnj/Prtgl for months, 30 euros for 1 night with 2 people incl electricity is a bit of a bite. welcome to the Netherlands. Arnold and Elisabeth

This CP may get 10 stars from us. Many CPs in France can take an example from this. All facilities are working, very well maintained location, spacious places and lots of greenery, quiet at night. Perfect place. Arnold and Elisabeth.

perfect quiet place next to Park Pombone. 3 km walk to old atmospheric center Bergerac on the Dordogne. we could not get a ticket on arrival but we could enter the site. on departure we could not get out without a ticket. by means of the service button the barrier was opened for us and we did not have to pay. what a good service! where do you still find that? Arnold and Elisabeth

despite the fact that it is indeed a sublime place to stay because of the phenomenal view and the peace, we do not think that it belongs on Campercontact. it is neither a camping nor a camper place. it is a parking lot. hence only 1 star. this place belongs on an app like Parkfor1night (it is already there). Arnold and Elisabeth.
Sitecode: 65895
nice paved, lighted and fenced parking for campers. sani-station is functioning. along main road, but quiet at night. shops within walking distance. city center walkable. thanks to municipality and residents for this free CP. Arnold and Elisabeth
Sitecode: 60299
there is a (official) paved area with double sani-station, and a higher situated (unofficial) sandy area. the latter was now available for cars and campers. walking distance to the old town. cable car next to it (fri to sun). during the day traffic noise because it is a main road, but quiet in the evening and at night. thanks to the municipality and its residents for this free facility. Arnold and Elisabeth

we thought it was a great place. a friendly welcome, we could choose our own spot, sanitary facilities indeed outdated but spotlessly clean, boiling hot water in the shower. in response to previous review: the sanitary block downstairs is not intended for camping guests. bus stops next to the gate. no 5th star because the wifi did not work well, and because there was a lot of dog barking during the day (fortunately not at night). Arnold and Elisabeth.

We would like to give Sander and Silvia 10 stars. Small-scale, green, quiet, friendly, good facilities, everything we appreciate. And they work hard to make it even better. Beautiful walking environment. Elisabeth and Arnold.

If possible we would give 10 stars. This small-scale campsite in the beautiful Alentejo has everything you could wish for. Paula and Bobby have set it up beautifully and are well organised. And they also know how to serve delicious pizzas in a relaxed atmosphere. Recommended!! Arnold and Elisabeth

we agree with what Noli wrote 6 days ago. good and quiet place and affordable. it is not a cozy place but very practical if you are traveling or want to visit the city of Badajoz. also the gas station next door is recommended. Arnold and Elisabeth

thanks to the municipality of Alcoutim and its inhabitants. small-scale camper park with demarcated pitches, sandy surface, electricity, discharge of grey and black. clean drinking water cemetery next door. everything free. unfortunately toilets and showers were closed during our stay. but showering at the harbour below on the shore is a good (and free) alternative. now let's hope that campers behave properly (clean up dog poop and waste).
Sitecode: 107673
great place in the nice Spanish town of Ayamonte. paved pitches, electricity, fenced, barrier, on the border river Guadiana, near the center, supermarket 100 mtr. There were problems with drainage of rainwater, with payments at the column, with the electricity supply. therefore not 5 stars. but the harbor masters are extremely helpful, and you can also shower with them (free). elisabeth and Arnold
Sitecode: 160056
newly constructed CamperPark with all amenities and working well. an example! places with or without electricity. friendly staff. due to private circumstances there is only 1 shower-toilet in use. they hope to be able to improve this soon. price/quality good. Via Verde and walking route nearby. Shopping in Beas 2 km. Elisabeth and Arnold.

if you like nature and peace: this is “the best of all places in Spain”. also good facilities and friendly staff who can give you information about the Parc las Nieves. of course it is not busy in december. but the places are spacious and there is a lot of green. take food and drinks with you before you come. there is a mini market with necessities at the petrol station (1.5 km). Elisabeth and Arnold
Sitecode: 101193
For a town like Rute it is a nice CP. Slightly slanted pitches. On a main road but not too busy. Shops nearby. Sugar, anise and ham museum of which the first mentioned is the most interesting. All museums mainly focused on sales. At the sani-station only one water tap. Not recommended to take drinking water there. Elisabeth and Arnold
Sitecode: 6518
location is nice, hard surface, well lit, beautiful historic city within walking distance, access on Saturday afternoon only because of market, police come by, but .... sloping places, the sanitary facilities dirty, and dog barking at night. once you are through the gate it takes a while to find. apparently it is also tolerated if you spend the night in the large parking lot immediately behind the gates. Elisabeth and Arnold
Sitecode: 98092
it is a campsite that has been a so-called Red Camping for 1.5 years. the better campsites in Spain, also a bit more expensive. open all year round. restaurant included. all facilities (sanitary dated but works fine and is clean). quiet at night. not five stars because the wifi only works at the restaurant. Almagro city is special. definitely worth a visit, about 2 km. Elisabeth and Arnold

Elisabeth and Arnold.
Sitecode: 79877
spacious places. few short stays in October. great place in all respects. shower top with good water pressure and hot water. v dated but clean. friendly staff. and price very reasonable in low season (16.80 for 2 persons with electricity). nice embalm for walking. if you are allergic to engine noise then better avoid because Circuit of Aragon is only 5 km away. city Alcaniz nice but not a must-see. elisabeth and Arnold
Sitecode: 105038
free CP with dumping and water (no electricity). busy with climbers in the weekend. quiet at night. bakery nearby. if it is full you can also drive towards "pont del pastor" (where the spectacular walks start), there is also a parking lot halfway on the right side with three terraces where campers can stay for 48 hours. there are no facilities there. but you are closer to the starting point of the walks. Elisabeth and Arnold
Sitecode: 110112

Beautifully landscaped free parking for 4 campers on the edge of the rural village of Koerich. Electricity and water for a fee. Discharge of grey and black water. Free bus to Luxembourg City stops at the cp. Beautiful walks. Interesting church. Castle ruins. If traffic noise bothers you, it is not an ideal place during rush hour. Thanks to the municipality and residents.
Sitecode: 19063

on the village square of Relva, drinking water tap, clean toilets (with toilet paper), free WiFi, bar/restaurant, bread in the shop, and old men selling oranges, eggs and nuts. We were there on Sunday but didn't see a market. And a beautiful walking route via the west side to the beautiful Portuguese Monsanto. In early March we were the only ones, and the locals don't sit outside until midnight. quiet at night. recommended. no dumping ground.
Sitecode: 108144
A gem among the campsites, beautifully situated near a palm grove, oasis of peace, good facilities, delicious food made to order, Hassan does the bread service in the morning, Valerie is hospitable and helpful when requested. Recommended ! Arnold and Elisabeth.
Sitecode: 54472
“only” 4 stars because our only point of criticism is that there are (still) barking dogs in the area. Unfortunately the campsite can't do much about it. otherwise a perfect campsite with all amenities and friendly and helpful employees. Provided, of course, that you want to stay at such a mega campsite where there are many winter visitors. Arnold and Elisabeth.
Sitecode: 63517
One of the better campsites in Spain. good value for money. a family business where the son is progressive. excellent facilities. spacious places for the camper. Too bad there is no walking or cycling path to cover the 3 km to the beautiful town of Valderrobres. recommended. Arnold Elizabeth
