We had a great stay. All you need for less than half the price of a caravan park. Great children’s playground and very friendly hosts. Chem WC discharge point and water top up in field. WIFI in pub and good food available.

EXCEEDED ALL OF MY EXPECTATIONS. Luck was on our side when I found this place while crossing the ferry to Fishguard. It’s just 20mins away and was such a fab experience for my family. Camping fees include a full day of activities at the Shire farm. We greeted a new born baby foal. Paddock has EHU, ChemWC disposal and fresh water. The shower block could be upgrade. It’s good for a free camp. Flat car park with a public toilet block that closes at 6pm. Kate’s cottage has live Irish folk music and reasonably priced tasty food. The car park is busy during the day and had 5 Campervan’s at night time. Very quiet spot and a sound sleep.

We’ve just spent a couple of days at Pat’s place. He has set up all of the facilities at the rear of his building and set amongst fields with a stream nearby. We felt like we were staying with family and the shed out the back has a toilet, sink, microwave and kettle. BETTER THAN A CARAVAN PARK. Thanks Marie for your hospitality. The common room with TV, kitchen and lounge room was a welcome relief for our family who had been stuck in the van in the rain for a few days. Stayed here last night. Had a fabulous meal in the restaurant. The publican is very welcoming and heaps of room to park at the rear of the pub.

We’ve just spent a night here. Lovely location next to a stream and hiking trails. We were on site 65 which was next door to the playground and perfect for our kids. Wifi throughout the park but did drop out a couple of times. The shower amenities were spotless and well punted. Very clean. All in all a great stay for £25 per night with power and family of four.
