Okay for a night stopover. A large parking area mainly for trucks but with places allocated for motorhomes. We visited the restaurant over the road to sample the food but lost interest whilst attempting to order a drink at the bar and receiving a far from warm welcome. Maybe some training on customer service would help increase the popularity of the venue.

Excellent stopover. Fairly level gravel with plenty of free electricity outlets, fresh water connections plus grey and black waste disposal drains. Serenly quiet position next to farm and sports/leisure complex. Thanks to the locality for providing this lovely place.

Great place to refuel with a small shop for essentials. A drive over drain for grey waste plus facility to dump black waste but none of the water outlets are operational so no filling or flushing.

A great place to stay for a few days and it's free. It's the abandoned yard of a deserted warehouse 🤣. There's a fresh water filling point, grey and black waste disposal and it's near the centre of town behind the bus station. Plenty of shops, local supermarkets and a Chinese restaurant. Not ideal for everyone but is quiet and feels safe.

A superb place for an overnight stop. Quiet, peaceful and away from the road. Fairly level gravel pitches with lovely views over the fields. Just ensure that you leave 5€ in the honesty box.

A nice little overnight stopover. Fresh water filling, grey and black disposal. Only one tap so disinfect and be careful. A nice cafe on the corner, two minutes walk. and a riverside walk in the opposite direction. Mainly industrial area so some noise from units and traffic but nothing bothered us. Sign states that a parking permit from the local police station must be displayed but none of the 10 or so vans had one. Stay limited to 5 days.

Good for an overnight stop, opposite sports centre, quiet at night. Easy walk to local shops, bars, restaurants. 4 narrow bays on the street, grey waste drain plus water connections under the blue plates. Tall campers or with aerials, dishes on the roof, beware of low overhead lines. Thank you to the locality for providing these amenities.

Excellent motorhome stopover. 4 very generous pitches, designed for caravans so grey waste must be emptied by bucket. All facilities available but toilets closed, possibly due to vandalism. 5 bus parking spaces, a bus stop, small car park and a grassed leisure, picnic area. Restaurant across the road and supermarket 10 minute walk with cafe and very cheap fuel. Thank you to the locality for providing this gem.

Excellent motorhome stopover. Clean, tidy, modern and well designed. Toilets and showers appear new and spotlessly clean. All usual facilities plus van cleaning. Access road is quite narrow but easily negotiated. Thankyou to the locality for providing this gem, a model for all other areas to follow.

Excellent motorhome stopover. Quiet, peaceful pitch by a river overlooking a wier and ancient bridge. Public toilets adjacent and bar restaurant over the bridge. Felt safe but a few cars and visitors to the toilets after dark??? Police drove by and inspected!!! 5 minute walk across the bridge is a supermarket, opposite the official aire with disposal and filling facilities.

Great stopover with all facilities and very friendly, helpful staff who speak good English. We stayed 2 nights, no electricity, less than 10€ with ACSI card.

Excellent stopover, we stayed 2 nights. The supermarket has a wide range of produce plus a great cafe, recommended, and there's a Brico next door. Black and grey waste disposal, water is 2€, or free if you use the flushing tap 😱. Washing machines and dryers in car park. Felt safe at night and very quiet except for the frogs in the stream.

Just a car park with no facilities except bins and the entrance/exit is very narrow. The attendants in the parking office and ferry station are very helpful and friendly. Signs at the entrance state no motorhomes but we asked and were told that it was okay to stay. Barriers are open weekends and 22:00-06:00 but if they are down then pay €1.20 at the parking office for an exit ticket. We stayed 4 nights, visiting Lisbon by ferry every day.

Planned one night, stayed three. Grass pitches, slightly sloping but very generous in size. All the usual amenities. Staff are very helpful, polite, friendly and professional. Paid less than 30€ for 3 nights without electricity with ACSI. Will definitely return when passing.

A good motorhome stopover next to the river, cheap, 5€ plus 0.5€ tourist tax per person. Free water, grey and black waste disposal. Electricity available but we didn't bother. Area a little run down but very friendly and helpful staff. Laundrette across the road and numerous shops, bars and restaurants a short walk away. Walk on, walk off ferry across the river to Spain.

Excellent motorhome stopover. Well designed and laid out, generous level pitches, clean and well maintained. Free water and electricity, grey and black waste disposal. A bit of a faf registering to access the barrier but if assistance required then email the contact with your phone number and they respond immediately on WhatsApp.

A great place for an overnight stop or a base to visit Palencia. We have stayed here a few times. All facilities available including laundry machines, showers and a motorhome wash area with gantry. Quiet, level, clean and an easy walk into town. Supermarket, filling station across the road. Please fill with fuel to support the owner.

Delightful Aire in a beautiful serene village. 12 almost level hardstanding pitches, very tight and small for motorhomes but could accommodate less if parked considerately. 2 tables/benches inside rustic shelter. 20mins free electricity, free water (press electricity button), grey & black dump, bins. Spotlessly clean, tidy and quiet, a credit to the local community.

Very quiet Aire with generous, level, hard standing, double bays separated with well trimmed hedges. Surrounded by sports fields, tennis courts and leisure centre. Would have been 5 stars but all facilities appear to be broken, grey and black waste disposal possible. Gently sloping path around fields for short walk. Retail and restaurant 500 metres.

Well placed for a first or last stopover from Ferry or tunnel. All pitches slightly sloping but we didn't bother with ramps. €8.40 per night plus €0.90 for each extra person payable at entry barrier with easily understandable instructions. Water chargeable but we found it flowed without entering the code which we paid for ??? Grey and black waste disposal free. Next to a busy road but quiet at night. Good for walking and cycling.

Moved on by Police! We have used this as a convenient stopover many times with no issues and satisfied with parking, security and convenience. Settled in last night but received a knock on the door from Police who informed us that overnight stopover was not allowed so we must move on before 22:00. I hope that this is a temporary situation so that we can return on our next trip.

Excellent Aire. Almost level generous pitches, all tarmac and well laid out. 7€/24hrs, electricity optional 3€/20hrs. Multilingual user friendly entry system. Code required for exit & electricity. Water needs male connector, direct connection, no valve so beware of pressure. We paid for 20hrs electricity but it was still on as we left 22hrs later. Will definitely return if passing this way.

Parking area is level but rough and neglected. 1€ tax + 5€/24hrs paid on exit, electricity extra. Free water fill, black & grey dump, Laundromat across the road. Walk on ferry to Spain, 1.80€ pp each way, 200metres. Area has many shops, cafes, restaurants & bars. Stayed 2 nights and would return 👍

Level hardstanding just off mway. A warm welcome from the friendly, very helpful hosts. The food is delicious, portions massive, top quality, great value. Free WiFi. Some road noise but not intrusive. Regular Police patrols, feels safe. Highly recommended as an overnight stopover A+++.

Idyllic spot a few kilometres off the mway. Small village mixed parking. Quiet, safe, free water, black & grey dump with small supermarket 100metres away plus the visage is superb, what more could we ask!

Superb free overnight stopover. No facilities but ideal rural location. 3 large gravel bays overlooking small lake. Serene spot for a quiet night.

Very pleasant, popular, modern aire. All facilities, grey & black dump, water & electricity, 7Euro coins only at machine. Some noise during day due to children's playground and nearby housing but quiet at night.

Very popular aire with tight spacing. Paid water & dump outside barrier, no electricity. Some road noise & railway in the distance. Easy 10min walk to beach past many shops, bars & restaurants. Generally quite and feels secure. 48hour maximum stay but we had an extra day by exiting & re-entry.

Great FREE aire. Onsite facilities include spotlessly clean showers & toilets, washing machine, dryer, cafe. Grey & black waste dump, water via token from Filling station across the road, 1Euro or free if buying fuel. Easy 10min walk across the Park into town for shops etc. Owner, aire & garage, very friendly and helpful. We stayed 2 nights and will return when passing in the future.

Excellent stopover. Large pitches, spotless kitchen facilities including oven, hob and washing machine. Well kept, clean showers and toilets. Water plus grey and black disposal. Electricity, connection points are limited. Run by delightful owners who speak fluent English and welcome you to their bar a short walk away. Municipal, open air swimming pool next to the entrance. All of this for 10Euros.
