Amazing free aire just behind the beach. Although free you are encouraged to leave a donation to the SNSM in the box at the entrance. Surface is grass but on sand which drains well in wet weather. Can get busy, especially at weekends.

We are here over a weekend in September and there's nothing wrong with the place. Cost was €22 a night with ACSI. Shower block clean and good opportunities for walking and cycling directly from the campsite on paths. Washing machine €5 and dryer €3 but only takes coins.

Excellent CP but when we arrived there was no water. Fortunately, it returned in the morning and we were able to fill up. As others have said lots of barking dogs but this is Spain so you have to get used to them. Very little in the town, we found two bars, one open but the other, below the CP, was closed.

The location, when you get there is good with amazing views. But don't follow your GPS if it wants to take you through Almócita - IT IS IMPOSSIBLE IN A MOTORHOME! The best approach is to head to the centre of Padules and then follow your GPS. There are some tight corners on the site so drive carefully. Biggest problema are it costs €30 per night and for that you get water in the showers which is barely warm. Washing machine is only €3 - cheap.

We stayed here at the end of March and there was water and it was free. The black waste point is poorly designed but it works in its own smelly way. There are electric point but they use a unique 7 pin plug. I suspect they are for traders at a market.

This is a very good aire. To get water you need to buy a jeton from the tourist office not the tabac-presse. Unfortunately, the tourist office is closed on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Excellent site with very good toilet facilities, huge showers and a proper motorhome service point. It is near a road but the traffic noise is not intrusive - the noise from the river is louder. There is a GR path accessible from the site. We had a very friendly welcome and the guy in reception spoke perfect English.

We have stayed here several times and like it for its position on the coastal path. The restaurant is good and the Moules Roquefort recommended but you can also buy seafood to cook yourself at the merchant next door. Reception is miserable and they close for three hours in the middle of the day just when people want to arrive and the jeton for water is an unnecessary requirement so only a 7.

Brilliant aire, all services including electric free. Only downside is parking is supposed to be on grass which is not ideal if it is very wet but there is room to park on the hardstanding. There is a cycle/footpath close by and a very good restaurant in the centre opposite the church.

Nothing much wrong with this aire but of course it is in a supermarket car park in the middle of nowhere! But for somewhere to stay and do the laundry it is fine. The laundry machines take UK bank cards and contactless too. I've given it a 9 to counter the 1 given by another reviewer which I think is a misleading grading. it's probably more a 7.

Excellent aire close to a pleasant village. There is no dedicated cassette emptying point but there is a toilet in a wooden shed which O used. The same shed also contains the water tap behind another door. It can be a bit of a stretch from the tap to your motorhome depending on how you park and side your water filler is on.

Basically just a grass field without facilities and very tranquil at night. Now part of the CCP group but there is no machine at this site to obtain a card. Walking opportunities on the coastal path close by and lots of geocaches in the area.

A large unshaded aire which is probably better than the nearby site code #1427 when it is wet and windy, as it was when we stayed. 1427 is in a better location but is surrounded by very tall trees. Lots of geocaches in the area and walk to the nearest bit of coast is easy and on very minor, almost unused roads. A typical CCP aire in terms of facilities and the service point is a double one.

This is an excellent aire beside an attractive village with a cycle/walking path next to it. The village is worth exploring as it is full of small artisan workshops. The garden beside the Tourist Office has interesting geological features. It is listed as an Earthcache on Geocache.

Quite a lot of noise from trains, the building site behind and the three dogs in the garden next door. Royan an unattractive, soulless place but otherwise a reasonable aire.

Excellent CCP site with usual CCP facilities. There is a footpath over a bridge at the back of the field. A field full of mushrooms in October. Auberge and boulangerie in village.

Very good aire with a lot of space, it could hold 15 campers and vehicles could be 10m+ long. Electricity points are available but the price per night with electricity is €8.20. Hiking trails start at the entrance to the village.

Excellent aire but strangely arranged. There are two sections divided by large stones. The first part you come to is the smallest. The much larger section beyond is reached from the road on the left. The entrance is well hidden. We arrived in heavy rain but it soon drained away. Sadly there are many closed shops in the town. Only the very centre, which is attractive, is still going.

There is hard standing on the former tennis court. River very green and unattractive. Limited walking opportunities locally and nothing in the village except a restaurant which is not the cheapest. Can't see how this place will work commercially. Only two showers so if it was even moderately busy nowhere near enough. They should just keep it an aire.

Very good free aire. Two marked walks from the aire around the village but best done with the Tourist Office leaflet, we didn't but it would have helped. The prosperous end of the village to the west is attractive.

Excellent site with very friendly owners. As mentioned by others no English spoken but this wasn't a problem. A smile and a nod is universal. Within walking distance of the Maginot line. Mobile phone signal very weak. Very quiet. A gem.

A nice small aire near a river with views over fields. Sadly, very little in the town to see but for a quiet stopover this place is ideal.

Looks a nice place but we couldn't get in, the ticket machine refused two different UK bank cards.

Good aire, quiet at night but noise from skate park, trains and a church bell during the day. Jeton for water €2.75 from the boulangerie opposite the entrance. There is also a free water tap in the park a little further away. There are three official bays but room for at least three more vehicles making six in total.

Coming from the south don't follow your satnav and turn right off the main road. There is a sign here telling you to stay on the main road and turn left a few km later. The coords are to the entrance, the actual place is further on down a bumpy track. The barrier was down when we arrived but there were other open gates. Restaurant superb, reasonable prices, good location but some aircraft noise.

Excellent site only let down by lack of drive-over grey waste disposal. Helpful reception with good English. Clean toilets and showers. Good views of the mountains from some pitches. Popular and lively place.

Facilities clean and the washing machine is free but those are about the only positives. Expensive, €28 for 2 people, €4.50 for electricity, €3 for dog in June. Few EHU points and very shady so solar hard to use. The service point is unusable as the owner parks his truck on it. But the Citadelle in Corte is worth a visit.

This might be a very nice site if you can get in as it was full when we called in June. However, I have given it a 6 because the entrance to the site is extremely challenging. There is a very sharp turn required to get onto a very narrow bridge. We managed at 6m but larger vehicles would struggle. At the end of the bridge the road drops steeply, vehicles with long overhangs might be damaged.

Excellent basic campsite with clean facilities and a good motorhome service point. At €20 a night for two people including electricity, dogs free, it is cheap by Corsican standards. Close to road but very quiet at night. The water in the river is very clear. A good base for exploring the area.

The toilet facilities here are very good but otherwise this is not a motorhome friendly site. The poorly designed service point is for grey waste only. The WC emptying point is by a toilet block inside and there are only a few taps for fresh water. Limited dog walking as it is on a busy main road. Biggest problem for us was a daily charge of €9.50 for a small dog! This is an expensive site.

Excellent site but beware the narrow unguarded bridge about 1km before reaching the site. Very good shop but bar very pricy, €4 a glass for wine. Good motorhome service point. Level pitches but not a lot of shade.

At €16 a night with ACSI this is a cheap site by Corsican standards. It is a huge site and there was no map to show us where to camp. There is a motorhome service point but it does not have cassette emptying. This is elsewhere and is a vile pit with no tap for rinsing so they hide it virtually unmarked. Limited opportunities for dog walking. Good 4G reception. We never found any dustbins.

Limited dog walking as it is on a busy road. Good 4G reception. But there are not many other places to stay in this part of Corsica so good for one night.

There are not many good aires in Corsica but this is one of them. Yes, €20 is expensive but for one night it is worth it for the view and the sunset. Money collected at 20:30 by a man from the Commune de Galéria.

We stayed at Camping International which is next door but is connected to the Castors campsite and booking in is done at the Castors reception office. Camping International has good showers etc., but it is a bit more rugged and is graded three stars. ACSI rates out of season and you can use the motorhome service point in the International site.

A little unkempt with long grass in May. The toilet block is clean and well maintained but there is no motorhome service point. Ten minute walk to the town with restaurants and two supermarkets but the beach is unusable due to massive amounts of seagrass as they all are around here. The coastal footpath north is superb and the warm goats cheese salad at U paradisiu restaurant highly recommended.

Very good site with friendly reception and English spoken. Showers etc a bit tired but unlimited hot water - what a change from Italy with their 60 second slot machine showers. There is a path towards the beach next to the ruined farmhouse. Good motorhome service point by reception.

Excellent aire with good walking opportunities locally. Easy to use facilities. Spectacular coastline and lots of geocaches too.

The services now take coins. Useful aire if you need to do your laundry. Not the quietest of places during the day.

Excellent aire in a very good location. We had no problems with water pressure mentioned in another review but we used the tap on the right of the service point. We took the bus caught from the stop opposite the entrance to visit Vannes. It was very easy to use and Vannes is well worth exploring. The tourist office have a free map. Lots of walking from the aire and plenty of geocaches.

Excellent aire a few minutes walk from the beach. Very quiet but as mentioned in another review dogs are not allowed on the beach although we ignored this in October and were not arrested.

Very good aire with excellent service point. Not a lot to see in the town other than a 15th century bridge. Some road noise.

Very pleasant aire. The coordinates are for the services but motorhomes park further on, to the right of the weighbridge. The services have two taps but the one with a hose connection is faulty. It is possible to get water out of it but the button must be held in a precise position which isn't all the way in. Black waste goes in the same place as grey water and the grill lifts up. Nasty.

Almost full when we arrived. A market nearby was noisy but not unpleasantly so. The town centre was remarkably quiet for a Friday night. The services worked for us but black and grey waste go in the same place and to fill with fresh water your water hose gets uncomfortably close to this sinister well.

A great campsite in a beautiful Black Forest valley. Endless opportunities for walking. Water and grey water disposal at most pitches. Reception closes 12:00 to 16:00 but Ivan and his wife can usually be found nearby.

This is an excellent campsite. Just €15 a night with ACSI and the cheapest washing machine we have ever found, just €2 a load. Very good showers etc and the head man speaks excellent English. Good dog walking from the site. Path to village where there is a railway museum and steam railway.

The site will take about 12 vehicles. Quite a few trees giving shade but reducing the output from our solar panels. About 200m up the road is a path marked Berg Trifels which will take you after about 30 minutes to the castle where Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. €4.50 entrance but no dogs allowed.

A nicely positioned campsite on the Mosel. Downsides including far too few showers for the size of the site, no recycling facilities of any description and of course the price, €31 a night for us in October. Booking in very slow and they close for a couple of hours over lunch. About a 30 minute walk to the town but a very easy cycle.

A typical aire and I didn't miss being on the front row. The best views of the Mosel are obtained while walking the path beside it, which is easily accessed from the aire. Payment is on an honesty system with money posted in a letter box.

This is a good, quiet aire. Sadly, the service point looks finished but is still not in commission. But there is plenty of space, unlike the Aires in the villages nearby - which were all full. The canal towpath gives unlimited dog walking.

Noise from the road above and the water needs a jeton bought in the village. Otherwise, a nice place.

I don't know why this place has been rated so low by others, there is nothing wrong with it. Would people prefer a barrier and a €10 charge with free water or the €4 charge for water here and free parking? A path takes you to Juno Beach where you you can walk to the Canadian memorial at Bernières sur Mer where there is also a supermarket. This is a good aire.

Not a bad site but it has no motorhome service point. Pitches not very large. Beach about 300m away down a hill.

We stayed here during the daytime only in early July. It is a good place to wait for an evening ferry from Santander. The beach is very attractive. Good dog walking.

Very quiet location. Good service point but the original 5 parking bays are unusable. We parked further up the hill at a reasonably level spot.

A good site only a few minutes walk from the beach and a supermarket. Pitches a good size but entrance road is steep. Facilities adequate and clean. Took me a while to find clean water as the two taps are over the toilet emptying point but a third tap on the right has hoses attached which can be detached. Beware following satnav, just stay on the main road and it will take you to the entrance.

Superb site and I can't understand why someone graded this only a 4.0. It's location is superb and all the facilities including a dog shower with warm water (!) excellent. The restaurant terrace has a great view. The pitches nearer the sea are small but there are bigger pitches available.

A good small campsite with excellent new facilities and swimming pool under construction when we visited. The only problem is the pitches are small and the access roads narrow and steep. Vehicles over about 7.5m might struggle.

Very good welcome, facilities have been updated a bit, the showers are now press button but the water is very hot! Not many pitches with electricity. It is not too far to walk into Campo Maior but the town is not focused on tourism. There are few signs and information on opening hours is non-existent we found. You cannot use paper in the cassette which is a big disadvantage for longer stays.

We only used this for grey waste disposal. You need to call a number given on a notice board in order to get the keys to unlock the black waste and fresh water tap.

Superb aire and wonderful town. The approach is steep but when we were there motorhomes up to 7.5m got to the upper level. Longer vehicles could also do it. The limitation will be ground clearance, especially at the rear. The coordinates given are for the lower area. The entrance to the upper area is at 38.442675, -7.379623. You can't complain about the price, just €11 per night including electricity using the ACSI card. Toilets adequate but not cleaned frequently enough. We planned to stay for the weekend but will leave after only one night. The site is very busy and crowded and not very pleasant. The beach is attractive though. We came here 4 years ago and had it to ourselves which may influence our view!

I would give this a 10 if drinking water was available. Adrie and Monica very welcoming with excellent English. Rubbish, recycling and cassette emptying is at the rear past Reception. For drinking water there is a font on the right-hand side of the A343 road as you drive south past Alora.

Excellent free aire. Water available when we were here but the taps need a very hard push to work and the tap with the square knob needs strength to open too. Mercadona supermarket very close and about 1 km walk to the castle. Town centre quite smart and prosperous. Best approached from Junction 146 on the A92. This will also take you past Carrefour and Lidl. Avoid junction 102 off the A45.

Friendly reception and good security but for €26 a night plus an extra €1 for the dog this is expensive for a not very special location 2Km from the centre of the town.

Friendly staff. Nice views if you get a pitch on the lowest tier. Showers need some maintenance and several drains blocked. There is no motorhome service point - I asked about this.

Free in October and free electricity too. WiFi not working and mobile phone signal weak - but usable. Very close to the most westerly point of mainland France and lots of walking on the coastal path. A good place for lighthouse enthusiasts! Supermarket 5km away.

It is an expensive aire but it is in a good location and the town is attractive. Water pressure a bit low, it took us some time to fill up, but otherwise this is an aire worth visiting. The church is worth visiting if only for the starry ceiling. Some nice places to eat in the village.

Very nice site beside a beach. Quiet in October but probably very busy in the summer. Toilet block is superb, the best we have ever seen! Good dog walking on the beach and through the dunes, which are a nature reserve. Excellent shop. Motorhome service point needs updating so only a 9, otherwise it would have been a 10.

Excellent aire, easily worth €7 for the location. There are free aires elsewhere for those who begrudge paying. Office hours 15:00 to 18:00 in October but you can arrive at any time, there is no barrier. Good mobile phone signal and BBC if you have satellite.

Just a grass field with a service point and mostly sloping but you can find the odd spot which is more or less level. Follow the signs to the museum not your satnav when you reach the village. Very tranquil at night and very dark too - a good site for astronomers!

Very nice small site but with only a few touring pitches. But very expensive, CHF 46.80 for one night in October. In October 2017 there is a barrier due to road works with a diversion. Do not take the diversion but drive past the barrier, the site is a little further up the hill before you reach the village. The route out west is very narrow - single track with passing places and a steep descent.

Superb site but no motorhome service point and no ACSI discount. We paid CHF 48.60 for one night in October! The site is small with only a few touring pitches. In October 2017 there was a diversion around the village. Ignore the signs and drive through the barrier. The site is before the roadworks.

Almost a gem of a site. Almost because there is some noise from the railway and in October the pitches see very little sun. But, the welcome is very friendly, good English spoken, a good restaurant and free hot showers cleaned regularly. Iseo is a very smart little town and is within walking distance or easy cycling.

A good free aire. The ramp down to it looks difficult but it is fine to ascend - if you take it at a run. The village has some interesting narrow streets. Good for an overnight stop if travelling on the nearby autostrada.

We only stayed during the day to visit the city. We stopped in a small parking area on the opposite side of the road which is on your right as you enter the town on the SS194 from Modica. This is the only safe way to approach this location. Do not follow GPS.

A generous 6 because I suspect we found them at the end of the season. Friendly reception and nice beach but beyond that nothing positive. The showers were dirty and several broken. Water was luke warm the first night and cold the next morning. We moved on after one night. There are some spectacularly better sites for the same ACSI price on this bit of coast - for example at Punta Braccetto.

Six stars is probably generous, €15 a night in September for a place without drinking water. To empty a toilette cassette you give it to the owners. No grey water disposal other than into the sinks by bucket. Noisy dogs in the area and the traffic noise was annoying. But, friendly owners and close to the town. Campsite a little​ further on probably better value - but it is small and crowded.

A good site, though mostly small pitches but main problem is it has no dedicated WC cassette emptying points. You have to walk down to the entrance and use the large grate at the service point. Very messy and hoses for fresh water are filthy and lying in the mess.

Not a bad site but €0.50 for a shower is a bit mean given the daily charge - but typical of many Italian sites. Service in the bar is a bit off hand but sitting above the beach with a cold beer makes up for it. A 10m RV was here when we arrived, so they have room for big vehicles - but the approach along the road under the cliff is fun when it's busy. Good service point for motorhomes - and RVs.

Really excellent place. Not a 10 because the access is very tight and there were a lot of flies from the horse and goat when we were there - but the flies were not the biting kind. :) The owner Mario is a delight - free figs and we bought some delicious tomatoes. A picture I have uploaded shows some of his produce. Recommended. If the gate is closed press the button on the right to enter.

Not quite a 10 because of steep access road and very sharp turn required at the entrance if approaching from the west. Otherwise, exactly as others have said - quiet, safe, stunning view and all services free.

Superb site with amazing views. Very clean toilet facilities and very friendly welcome in reception. Curiously, the reception is closed on Mondays, the day we arrived, but you can just drive in and choose a pitch. There is a motorhome service point but it is well hidden. The waste drain is in the road opposite the toilet entrance and the fresh water hose is on a drum in the toilet emptying room.

Absolutely superb site with everything required free, including electricity. Only problem is the village is very quiet and doesn't even have a bar.

Not the cleanest showers and the owner not the most cheerful, but a reasonable site for a one night stop with a motorhome service point. Easily reached from the motorway. The garage next to it sells GPL if like us you have an underslung gas tank. They are expanding the site and creating new pitches on the other side of the road which will be more suitable for larger motorhomes.

Well positioned aire which we visited during a balloon festival at the Château Brissac which is only a short walk away. It would be worth a 9.0 if it had a clean water supply. The only tap has a very large diameter and very short hose attached to it which lies on the ground next to the waste point where toilet cassettes have to be emptied. Yuk! :)

Quiet aire from which you can take a path, which starts to the left of the cemetery entrance, to the village centre. It would be rated higher but the water tap will not take a hose and is low pressure and the waste point is a very curious design which I was reluctant to drive over in case the cover was damaged. There is a cockerel to wake you but it isn't too loud. :)

Excellent aire although not cheap. Very fast WiFi but unless you have a WiFi booster it is best to park near the entrance where the aerial is. A short walk to the beach and Fromentine can be reached on foot by walking under the bridge and then along the shore. This path leaves from the rear of the aire.

Now €8 a night low season and €11 a night high season. The campsite next door is €13.50 a night with ACSI. We chose the campsite, which is good.

Two of the 3 spaces were filled with cars when we visited and the water supply was not working but we were able to discharge waste. Close to village centre but next to road.

Excellent aire just above a lake. No dogs allowed around the lake but plenty of other dog walking opportunities. There are two car parks with no signs to say where motorhomes should park. We went on the larger one and parking on the side furthest from the lake allowed satellite TV reception. Water needs a jeton from the Marie which is some distance away. But water available for cassette rinsing.

One of the best aires we have been on, superb views of the lake. The token (jeton) machine looks like it has not been used for a while and a man collected €8 from us at 08:30 the next morning. Would have given it 10 stars but the tap is of a design it is impossible to fit a hose to. Toilet emptying in separate building by the old token machine.

Exceptionally tranquil and pleasant aire. It is really a location for boats and there are no signs referring to motorhomes but this doesn't seem to matter. No motorhome service point but water avaliable from a tap but it either needs a very long hose or use a bucket. WC block for disposal of waste. There are also electric points but these are positioned for use by the boats.

Excellent aire, water €2 using a jeton from the Proxi minimarket opposite. Cafe/bar by the river closed on Monday. Very quiet village. Look for the marks in a wall by the river showing the height of previous floods.

The service point is still unfinished but water is available if you look closely. There is a tap fixed to the end of a pipe sticking vertically out of the ground. Easy walk to the town centre from the aire and lots of marked cycle routes and paths in the area. A good aire

The description and coordinates given were wrong but I have sent feedback so they should now be corrected. The parking is mid-way between Le Courégant and Fort Bloqué. Despite the lack of facilities this is a very pleasant place though there is some noise from the nearby airport. The beach (partly naturist) is about 300m away easily reached on paths. The paths also extend either along the coast.

Excellent aire, as others have said. Jetons from shops showing a motorhome symbol which include the boulangerie, Utile supermarket and the Bar des Sports, which does not display a symbol but was where we got ours.

We only stayed here for lunch, stopping outside the barrier where there are a few spaces for free parking beside the service point. The aire is I think an old municipal campsite and has electricity for €4 a day. Entry through an automated barrier which takes cards. Looks convenient for Auch centre and should be quiet at night given the location beside the river.

Excellent free aire within a short distance of Mielan centre which is worth a visit to see the timber-framed houses. Some road noise but not too bad.

Excellent commercial aire, with hot showers, a small shop and very friendly owner. They seem to be expanding the site and creating new pitches which look as if some will be fully serviced. When we arrived the owner was out but "Bernard" who lives in the first caravan on the left as you enter, welcomed us and showed where everything was. The owner arrived later and gave us a free tin of paté!

Very good aire, quiet at night, good dog walking. The drinking water tap needs a 3/4" adaptor.

Superb small campsite with good bar and restaurant open in the evenings. Very helpful reception. The river Tarn is perfect for swimming and the 4km walk to Florac isn't too difficult. Other walks in the area as well.

Superb aire, great views and good security as there is a police border checkpoint just below the aire which is manned 24 hours.No outside tap for filling with fresh water. There is a machine in the office where you pay which takes cards and notes. We used a note so I don't know if it accepts UK bank cards.

Probably one of the best aires we have ever been on. A proper MH service point, lavender fields, great views of the sunset and very quiet. Very friendly owner although no English spoken but the welcome was unmistakable. Electricity €3 if required. There are 60+ beehives in the little wood at the end of the track which are worth visiting - cautiously!

I've given this a 9 because it is peaceful and has a restaurant and swimming pool you can use. But it has NO facilities. There is water from a dirty hose but no place to empty waste water or a toilet cassette but you can always use the autostrada services the next day, many have service points. The restaurant is very good value and we had a tasty meal with wine for €20 each. Recommended.

Pitches not very big but facilities clean and free hot showers. There is a motorhome service point and next to it a free car washing point - which we used to wash our vehicle! Good place for visiting the Trulli houses region but the coast here is flat, boring and dirty.

Excellent large campsite in an old olive grove. Plenty of shade and room for larger vehicles. Facilities clean and very good pizzas from the camp restaurant. Quiet and much more relaxing than the local sostas.

We stayed one night. Very convenient for the old town, which is worth exploring. The main water tap has a connector too big for the usual screw on adaptor, but there is another tap you can use instead.

We called in here only briefly to dump waste. Each pitch has a tap, drain and electricity. There is also a shower and a sink in a hut. The place was overgrown but it was early in the season. Close to lake but with no views unlike the nearby #11017 which we went to instead.

I would like to give this a 10 but at nearly €30 a night you should expect a clean water tap and better waste disposal facilities. However, there are some good local walks, the views are exceptional and if you want to dine in the restaurant, as we did, it is ideal, otherwise it isn't good value for money but there was a friendly welcome. Excellent location but water pressure at the tap extremely low, almost impossible to fill up, otherwise I would have graded this an 8. Parking is paid for at a machine but I had to use coins as I could not get it to work with a bank card. The town is popular with tourists but there are plenty of good restaurants to choose.. Other than the water problem this is a very good aire.

We only visited briefly but decided to move on as the aire is not in a very attractive location. Local buses were also parked in the motorhome places. Convenient for the town but otherwise unexceptional.

We only stayed here for lunch and then went for a walk around the very pretty little village. It is the main car park for the village and particularly the restaurant next to the car park so I would expect some noise in the evening, otherwise a useful stop. We didn't see any dustbins, only one glass/paper recycling bin.

An odd place, after finding the lady owner we didn't see her again until two days later when from her daughter (?) we discovered they also had a shower and a toilet. We were charged €12 a night without electricity and an extra €5 for discharging grey and black waste, which should be included in the nightly cost I think. The place could be so much better if they put some effort into it.

The entrance to the site is a fearsome looking hump, which we cleared with a few centimetres to spare in a 6m van conversion. The site is on old olive terraces and most of the pitches are very small. There are some electrical points, one coin operated, but we didn't use them so I don't know if they work. €2 discharge waste, €1 water. We never saw anyone so not charged the €8 overnight fee

The aire is beside the sports pitches so there may be some noise at times. Very clean service point but there is a fixed charge of €8 with payment only by bank card which gives you two jetons for water and a receipt which you must display to stay overnight. It is possible to walk to the town from the aire.

An aire in a stunning location, it deserves a rating of 10 except the water connection is an obscure size and we cannot get water. A standard 0.5" Hozelock male to male adaptor is too big! it needs something smaller.

Quite a lot of rubbish including discarded BBQ charcoal around the aire but this might be because it was used in a village fête last week. It also has a small group of non-Europeans who seem to live here permanently but we have had no problems with them. Otherwise, an excellent aire with a very interesting old village to explore and many walks. We planned to stay longer but will move on today.

We arrived to find the main aire full but we found room in an overflow area just below the official aire which I have photographed. The reason the aire was full was the Banon cheese festival (fête du fromage) was being held the next day, 23 May 2016. This turned out to be a very good event and made this a memorable visit. A man comes round in the evening to collect €4 but water etc is free.

Though this is a service point only there are opportunities to overnight on the roads of the industrial zone where the service point is located.

Close to the pretty village of St Alvère, which has a small supermarket where you can buy the €2.50 jeton for water and an hour's electricity. Being next to sports pitches it can be a little noisy but very quiet at night.

Very friendly welcome from owners Franc and Lisa. Plenty to see in the area and the excellent voir vert is ideal for cycling or walking - 4 km to nearest supermarket in Oradour sur Vayres plus the local village, 10 minute walk away, has a restaurant. Some of the pitches are designed for big US RVs and are fully serviced, other, smaller hard standing pitches also available, all with electric.

Very good Aire beside the lake. Shops etc are a short walk over the bridge. The water is free but needs a male to male connector and it starts discharging as soon as it is connected - prepare to get wet!

Very convenient for the Roscoff ferry but very crowded when we used it. We only just got in. No services.

Looks a good aire but we were unable to get in as it seems to be closing on 1 October to be turned into boat storage. Half the aire was already boats and they were waiting for the last three motorhomes to leave before turning it all to boats. However, the services are on the other side of the road and they were still in use. You can park at the nearby cemetery but it has no services.

The parking places are near the car park entrance and the car washing facilities. Noisy during the day. Washing machines available. Within walking distance of Plouscat centre and the historic covered market.

Large grass aire. €3.50 for 24 hours, services €2.20. Easy 1 km walk to Portsall.

Very close to the historic Pont de Rohan and the old houses built from yellow stone in the centre of the town. €6 for 24 hours, €2.50 for services. Free electricity from points which are well hidden in the bushes!

Excellent aire, plenty of restaurants a short walk away. A bit of noise when the school buses start up in the morning but that means you don't need to set an alarm clock! I would have rated it higher but the €3 services are card only and it would not accept my UK bank card or Brittany Ferries cash card. So we went to Cléden Cap Sizan for water.

Very nice aire with good walking in the area. Entry by credit card where you buy 24, 48 or 72 hours plus 2 or 4 minutes of water. The water supply inside the aire requires a male to male Hozelock adaptor and the water pressure is high. There is a second service point outside the entrance which is easier to use as it has a normal tap connection and costs only €1.

The aire is beside a fairly busy road and the pitches are small and sloping. Maximum length of motorhome about 7m at most. Water is taken from the cemetery pump by manual winding of a handle. Flow rate is slow! No toilette cassette emptying point or drive over drain. But Larmor Baden is a nice village and is where ferries to Cairn de Gavrinis leave but I suggest use a local campsite!

Very good aire with great views over the harbour. Free to park but water €2 for a jeton from the Fisherman's Co-op, which is beside the aire. There are dedicated motorhome bays but no one seems to mind if you park on other bays as we had too. Local area very quiet so not a place to come to if you are looking for restaurants.

Toilet block has been recently refurbished and is now very smart and clean. Nice bar/restaurant. It could do with more drinking water taps but hard to fault otherwise. Alabarracin is worth a full day's visit.

Quiet and clean site in an outstanding location. Free WiFi and electricity. Superb walking in the area which teams with birdlife. The region reminds me of the Alpujarras. Approach road through the village is narrow and some pitches would be a squeeze for a large motorhome. We will come again. DBK.

Excellent site and very good value, €9 a night if you stay more than 4 days, €12 a night for shorter periods. Price includes 5 Kwh of electricity. Showers and toilets very clean. Two supermarkets within easy walking distance and a good beach a little further. The Penyal d'Ifach rock is also within walking distance. English spoken at reception. We didn't find it crowded at the end of May.

This aire has now been rebuilt. There are only two designated parking bays for motorhomes but plenty of space to park opposite. However, it is by a sports facility so might be busy at times. The service point requires a small tap adaptor and the waste grid is difficult to reach.

Outstanding aire, very quiet and with a FREE washing machine! Dryer is 3 Euros. Cannot recommend it highly enough.

Site slopes but flatter parts can be found near the top of both car parks. Very peaceful. Water, grey and black waste disposal available. DBK

Very large aire, could probably take 40+ motorhomes. Water plus grey and black waste disposal. Very quiet when we were there in April and we were a little concerned about security when we left our motorhome unattended while we explored Lugo and its Roman walls but all was well when we returned. DBK
