It seemed quiet, but dogs bark very loudly at night. The site is currently being used as a construction site to restore the church. A few permanent gypsies occupy the best spots. A charging station for electric cars has been added. It's practically impossible to park a campervan. Currently, it's not recommended.
Sitecode: 22579
Normally, I'd pay more for a free CP with cheap service. You can pitch your campervan, but there are also tents and cars that make it easier to get to the restaurant from there. Electricity is a hassle; you have to pay at the café in the village above, and the man was supposed to hook it up, but that took seven hours and cost more. Otherwise, it's a magnet for hippies who fancy themselves musicians by beating a djembe.
Sitecode: 54353
Give it 4 stars because it's free, including service and electricity. But it's 36°C on July 31st in the shade your campervan won't get. And then the party starts building up in the village grounds right next door. Great if you're very sociable and can get in with Portuguese people from a mountain village, but I can't, even though I already speak a fair amount of Portuguese. It's packed by the evening (and yes, everything is free). Good for one night and if you need service.
Sitecode: 88472
The campers keep arriving here all night long, which makes it not a real quiet camper place but a transit place. It is also next to the big fast road 'home'. Still clever of the village that they make the old station area available.
Sitecode: 60116
The campers do indeed keep arriving here until the middle of the night because it is next to the big fast road 'home'. Therefore not a real quiet CP. But Chapeau for the village that they have provided this.
Sitecode: 30077
You are there quietly and for free. Not obvious for a big city. Perfect to visit this city.
Sitecode: 81780
4 "for the peace and quiet and the view. Not for the narrow road leading to it and not for the crowds that the cows bring right next to it. Just a small parking lot next to a mountain road. But you don't have such a panorama on the average campsite.
Sitecode: 89042
Indeed perfect for transit with all services. but this is not a co but 4 places marked right next to each other is a parking for campers. Free electricity is great if you can use it, as all the places were occupied by French people who come here to celebrate their retirement. 10 for the service and 2 for the CP makes a pass with a 6.
Sitecode: 7456
Place to avoid in summer.
Sitecode: 93073
Too busy with too much crammed into a corner.
Sitecode: 15018
way too busy and dusty for us.
Sitecode: 4296
quiet place in the evening in a beautiful valley. It is a shame that the new Flot Blue is broken again. These systems do not work more than they do. One place in the corner is of course best. a seven for the place provided and the rest.
Sitecode: 67178
In warm weather it is wonderful to relax under the trees. 90% French with tent or caravan. Apparently a very busy tourist village. ice-cold river provides cooling. A big downside is that the whole campsite is next to a very busy road and we have never felt the peace. A real shame because the owners are great.
Sitecode: 14557
It looks like you ended up in Scotland;)
Sitecode: 79105
thank you Val d'Isere
Sitecode: 94486
There are such places that you prefer to keep to yourself, but we had to share these with you who are looking for peace. No swimming possibility so couples without children can enjoy pure silence. You will always find a privacy spot with or without shade. No barriers here, first pick your spot and then sign up with the friendly owners. You still want to stay longer than 1 night
Sitecode: 93099
brand new place. but not finished yet. nothing works. places too small, so cars think they are parking places. was full of only cars. the baguette machine is the plus.
Sitecode: 7120
Were here 29-7-19. Beautiful place with all amenities and very quiet if no children playing. Pay at the machine with coins. The police came to check if we had a proof of payment. Nice village with 1 shop. But not much to do outside the wonderful view. It is a shame that you cannot see this from the CP. Little visibility actually. It is Italy so narrow way to it.
Sitecode: 15174
When we are looking for a CP in the Black Forest we want to feel nature with preferably a beautiful view. And we don't want to be pushed back in a desolate place. Certainly not for 11 euros + electricity. After trying we drove on to the rest. Kinzig beach in Biberach. Where you look better in exchange for a nice meal. This is more our thing of course.
Sitecode: 3115
We were here July 14, 2019. It was a fairly busy Sunday evening in the restaurant. Yet professional staff enough to serve a nice meal with a smile at a good price. Just reported that we were on the grass at the back, which was certainly not a problem. Woke up quietly until the following afternoon. Ideal as a stopover.
Sitecode: 60542
We were here at the end of July with a beautiful view of the reservoir. It was too steep in the pouring rain. But the day after we enjoyed the beautiful trip with a standing lift (never thought this was still allowed!) To the Marmolada glacier, which is just above. Had a super nice day, followed by a quiet evening and night by the lake. Everything you want from a free place.
Sitecode: 73188
Nice to visit the Citta Alta within walking distance (via steep stairs). But we thought it was anything but a pleasant place. It is located in a concrete bowl so that the least sound is reflected. With us it included a group of works on the street that run all night, every car, truck and loud scooter that rushes by, and French neighbors with their French music. Good for 1 time.
Sitecode: 75274
The friendly welcome +5, the way there -8, the view +4, electricity incl +2, showers +3, humor of the host +3, helpfulness +3, and because I'm already 12/10 I draw 2 points off because the way back down to pray is that you will not encounter another camper! But we will definitely come back. Beautiful people in a beautiful location.
Sitecode: 7159
Is just a large parking. ideal if you do not need service and want to stand quietly for free. I just posted the first 2 photos here on August 5, 2019.
Sitecode: 12308
No service, but nice stop as last sleeping place in Portugal before we start the big trip home. Beautiful omwald medieval village, like Obidos, but with only a single tourist. We too were taken by a dear woman to buy home-made products from her 'illegal' shop. Have bought for 60 €, the porto, ginga and cheese are too good not to do it.
Sitecode: 48198
Beautiful campsite and everything free and clean. 10 nice big places that were all occupied. Beautiful village and fantastic swimming ponds. So normally I would give a 9. BUT it is August and the square is full of French immigrants who come to their country of origin on holiday. To speak French, to terrorize the whole lot. Had parties with loud live music in the cafe until 4 in the morning!
Sitecode: 12337
We were here July 21st. It was a clear party here. Throughout the day, loud, loud, daddy music sounded through the loudspeakers all over the village. and in the evening there was live music. So it was not quiet here. Not even through the day (summer season) when a lot of day trippers drive up and down. Quite a very nice location, for sure.
Sitecode: 10832
Stand here now with free wifi from Buondi coffee. Splendor location. Fight for a place. Best to come by 7pm when the beachgoers leave. Beautiful bay where you can swim better than in the open sea. Very good restaurant right next to it. Unfortunately no service, we stayed longer than 3 days.
Sitecode: 62234
If there was electricity it was a 10. Congratulations to Lennik to provide a nice place especially for campers. An example of how it can be done for all other municipalities. Refueling and emptying everything worked perfectly and free!
Sitecode: 48865
I find 7 euros on the expensive side for a parking lot, but that pays everyone, including the cars. But we can stay overnight for the same price. Outside of animal sounds you do not hear anything at night. Do need blocks. The park itself is also expensive, but the most beautiful thing we ever saw. It is amazing how everything is finished down to the last detail. Recommended!
Sitecode: 21383
Great place to stay and to take a walk to the boat lifts. You can also cycle along the water for miles. Dirt bins were packed, so we took our waste away. So unfortunately no provision.
Sitecode: 48142
Actually you can just park at the parking lot without service so this is not really a CP. View is beautiful. You can even see the Vosges and the Black Forest from here. Food is a bit different. Wine, by the way, deliciously delicious. On Sundays, it is very busy in this mega business because all local families are eating there from noon to evening.
Sitecode: 2048
Nice view. That's for sure. There is nothing else in the village. GPS coordinators incorrect. You must drive further to the town hall.
Sitecode: 13340
This is not the right location. You must follow the arrows Intermarché because the very good CP is on the parking of that supermarket.
Sitecode: 12780
We looked forward to staying overnight. But if there are village activities, it is also on this ground. Like the first week of August, forget about it. We have to drive through. Standed on Darney's parking garage for Darjeeling intermarché. A real recommend, 4 special places with service. Very friendly owner.
Sitecode: 5972
This has nothing to do with a CP. No places are provided. These are car parks for the sports clubs that float in the evening. Also the place where the youngsters come to test their moods. So not recommended.
Sitecode: 23133
Very nice place. Always great as a village provides this. Good facilities though the electra does not work. There is almost no voltage. Sorry, another 10. And no the bells still do not sync!
Sitecode: 18759
Those are the places where we do it. Had there service than it was a 10. But waking up with such a beautiful sight makes your day. You'll feel as free as a bird and that is where traveling with a camper about. We stood alone but that is not very natural. At this altitude you encounter no loitering though! A place to enjoy so.
Sitecode: 29203
Super City which this village has provided for campers. Village nothing presents itself. Nature lovers can hike or endlessly (and get lost like us). Wifi not working. The CP is next to the local 'container' but also next to a soccer field and a great playground for our son of 7. Better place than many expensive camping and all this for free. Highly recommended!
Sitecode: 19161
Just a mega large parking lot for the ski season. No amenities. In April, is leaving here. So no mini toboggan run or open. Maybe nicer in the summer.
Sitecode: 9252
Very nice and quiet place. Near beautiful abbey and the small village of Murbach. Wonderful walks you can do here in this environment of the highest mountain in the Vosges, Le Grand Ballon. The amenities were all free when we were here. So thank you for the fantastic Murbach CP.
Sitecode: 2023
We were with our three lost € 45 for 2 nights. Special pitches for campers though. A bit too expensive for a small site where no playgrounds for our son 7 years. Pretty boring camp. However, quiet and very clean. Walking distance from very nice village but far 's get the morning bread to go for the season was to get bread !? The price was therefore somewhat lower!
Sitecode: 8798
Large dusty place with deep wells. Water does not work. And had to work you would have to block the entrance to refuel. Right next to very noisy skate disasters. We drove to the campsite. So we paid for it for us was not a pleasant feeling. It is near the center of a very pleasant lovely village.
Sitecode: 25474
Beautiful environment, beautiful view from this place. But it is a sloping car park that lies along the road here. Good for a night while passing through the Vosges.
Sitecode: 21088
Beautiful place. Parking is free and all facilities costs € 1 / unit. But are all in tip-top order. In speaking Cafe-Hotel zur Quelle them Dutch and you can even have breakfast for € 7, along with the buffet of the hotel guests. Beautiful (brisk) walk made to Meerfeld and back.
Sitecode: 26685
Special place. Father daughter was very friendly but the owner was a weird guy. There were only the beginning of August and he said our place was reserved !? Just that one spot that was occupied by us! And we had to go. Showering worked with coins but the water was too hot. Long walk to the beach but it is a very beautiful beach! Restaurant in't village is very nice and cheap!
Sitecode: 18564
We also had the impression that the dream was over. Not a good atmosphere. Poor wifi connection; And then only at the bar that they still hold open against their will. Only one shower at the campsite and little sanitation and so long queue if the campground is full, as in our late July. Very steep entrance. Dining can in't local restaurant downstairs. Fish or meat, but was unable to eat both.
Sitecode: 21065
This is a CP way you like it always was. Actually a special camp for campers with all the trimmings. But not at the price of a campsite. Fleming Ronnie is a pleasant topkerel and provides everything you want. Pool he opens whenever you want, showers are like home. Toilets too. Obidos within cycling distance, with occasional and kuitenbijter. But definitely worth doing. TOP!
Sitecode: 29490
Right on the beach, free of charge, with free service! Lots of space. We are fans! A few cafes in the village and a very tasty and inexpensive restaurant at 300m with very friendly and helpful owners. Were here mid-July. However, there were many Portuguese campers who camped for a long time here we had the impression, but did not bother total. Place enough.
Sitecode: 20235
Here in mid-July stood five days. Wonderful campsite. A month in Portugal moved around and this campsite was the best of our trip. Very helpful and friendly owners. Toilets and showers super clean. Beautiful pool with spring water right from the Serra da Estrella. Beautiful region. Ideal for transit, but you want to stay here longer guaranteed. We certainly ever go back!
Sitecode: 741
Too expensive and too far from the center for this price. Everything is provided, but it is allowed to camp prices. Still, better to drive camping because here it is not so cozy.
Sitecode: 1951
Beautiful place. Chapeau to the village! Not easy to find. Still quite busy in the summer. Very nice area.
Sitecode: 42634
His stand in early July after visiting Lourdes here. Actually we wanted to Pierrefitte village stand beside it but it was completely full. Here you also stand good and quiet on the parking. Did the 1st photo posted here with a view from our camper. Very nice area anyway. morning stroll done naar't village. Here bakery and many other shops. No service but this can Pierrefitte
Sitecode: 19060
Perfect parking to visit Lourdes. Only parking but we are all very happy. It is finally free and that's all you need in a city like this. You can sleep anywhere else in the area quite easily. No real CP that's true but chapeau to Lourdes in order to provide a free car park close to the center.
Sitecode: 15188
Begin was in July 2015 when it was very hot. Actually, we think this is a good and quiet camping. Not expensive, sanitary fine. Perfect to visit Chartres. Beautiful walk along the river towards the city. Also possible via the river when you have a small boat with. Certainly worth more than his score the campsite gets on this site.
Sitecode: 6209
Bit desolate place. Discharge toilet cassette is very gross. Almost can not do due to retch. Village is quiet. Little further is beautiful park. Lots of mosquitoes by standing water in the park. Used in transit to Galicia, and therefore do fine. Free water is of course also plus.
Sitecode: 30131
Beautiful new CP. Paid Euro Relais. Village is nothing. View monastery with wine is beautiful. Very neat place, rare for a free CP in Spain. Ideal as a transit berth.
Sitecode: 24720
Very good campsite. Situated in't middle vd Via Verde (100km cycle route created from old railway bed). Top recommended, but if you downhill bike please be aware that you also must have the same distance uphill. The terrace is camping stay very pleasant. Too close to the pool can be a bit too noisy. Owner is a passionate Catalan, very friendly and helpful. € 30 / n
Sitecode: 44583
8 stars for the friendly town. But one star for the CP. € 6 to be allowed to park in a very big mix-parking. Without any service. Cars can pay using the machine. Campers have to pay more at the counter where they manually write down your license plate. However, ideal if you want to visit by catamaran ferry Cadíz for just € 7 road and back. As parking in Cadiz is not simple.
Sitecode: 6503
Not ideal for campers. Too poor access to small places. We like to have a quiet site but here it is eerily quiet. No one dared to move here. Apparently have many regular customers who come especially for this site. Not our thing.
Sitecode: 29939
This is'n place vdIslamitische association. Specially designed for Moroccans on the way and back from Morocco. But this is an example for everyone. They provide at least for their people. In Spain there is indeed no proper service instead. We were indeed very welcome. We were invited to the service area for campers and everything was free. Perhaps the best CP in Spain!
Sitecode: 24819
Indeed beautiful motorhome. With everything you need. For 11 euros now. BUT it is now August and overcrowded. Mega pressure and crying children until late. Constant running diesels coming and going or still trying in vain to find a place. Super place outside the peak season so.
Sitecode: 22958
An example of a place. Stand here now. All you need. The young boss of the bar is very friendly and happy to help you. WiFi and air conditioning works well in the bar. Train connection to port and the boat coming back is highly recommended. Just done and still impressed. Top location!
Sitecode: 2294
Great that there are villages that provide such a wonderful place for campers. If there is electricity it was a 10. Very nice restaurant nearby. Also supermarket, swimming pond, ... Was it full even in the Easter holidays. See that you put the nose of the motor in the direction indicated on the sign at the entrance (We had to shoot :)
Sitecode: 20263
This was formerly a biocamping, but now sold to a chain that put the whole park full of bungalows aan't is. Easter Holidays 2 nights stood at place is too small and difficult to reach. Of trucks drove up and down, they were aan't bijbouwen everywhere. The highway rages also terribly hard next. You can not sit quietly outside. Stay away here, especially with the camper!
Sitecode: 24851
Good to visit Avignon and sleeping 1 times. Quite expensive, but terminal was not working. So we had to call in order to pay for expensive water. Man was friendly and fast present. Also token of € 2.5 purchased for electricity but that was not working. When we had to call again to pay to get out, we have recovered our € 2.5. Was difficult all. Too much noise.
Sitecode: 24275
Currently sits now with very expensive wifi (€ 9 for 3h) on this site. very quiet now during the Easter holidays. stand on a verhoogje so we were just able to see the sea. oasis in a busy neighborhood. On the seafront is insanely good course but the bar Op't beach is not open yet. Restaurant upstairs is very good. highly recommended to the french riviera
