Unfortunately a different experience. Very grumpy staff, ordered a beer on the terrace. After some time a big fight inside, music was turned on on the terrace to dim it. We think we came at the wrong time. Drove further north 14 km and very quiet. Everything available plus electricity, and all this for free.....

We were the only ones on the camper place. Big, electricity free and everything available. We had a great time here. Kudos to the municipality.

Arrived here after a long journey. Clearly read the instructions, also via campercontact. Payment accepted and then wait.........long wait. We drove on to another camper place.

We have been here and of course bought wine. They were busy picking the grapes, harvest time. The night was not special. All night 2 dogs barking at owner. Went out of camper 3 times to calm them down. but that was for 10 minutes. There were 2 other campers with the same experience.

Very friendly welcome. Beautiful campsite with many places under the trees. Good sanitary facilities. Make sure you have some groceries with you. We went to town and supermarket by bike, it is quite an undertaking by bike

We stayed here for a few days. Good facilities and very friendly staff who also speak English. Lovely swimming in the river.

Just a comment on the previous camper. There are enough fresh water points, at every electricity pole. You can stand well here, one shower for women and one for men, so extra service. We have it all in the RV. Toilets are also provided.

Price has changed to 26 euros and electricity p.d. 4 kWh. Additional payment per kWh 0.70 cents. Ask for meter reading on arrival. Unfortunately, there was only one toilet and shower room open at a reasonable occupancy. There were three waiting for toilet.

Prima camping. We've been traveling for years by Spain with RV, and have visited many campsites. There always something wrong, but that you take for granted. Else ...... go stay in a hotel.

Beautifully situated campsite in nature. Friendly owner, good plumbing. Wonderful walking tour around the lake.

It is unfortunate that they have increased on January 1 the price of 4 euros. This is just too much for what they offer. Furthermore it nice located in downtown Franeker.

Okay place, must be renovated.
