Not necessarily a review, but a message. The parking lot where the camper pitches are located will be closed from September 12th to 28th, 2025, due to a temporary City Beach closure during the late summer festivities.

Warm welcome by the owner, places are spacious, beautiful view. A messy area around the barns with showers and toilet. See also other reviews. This SVR campsite is officially open from Easter to the autumn holidays and not all year round as indicated on CC. You can stay overnight outside this period but with limited facilities. Only 1 toilet and 3 hot showers. Water for toilet dump was still closed.

A small-scale campsite with 24 places, some of which (approx. 13) are suitable for campers. Very friendly welcome, pleasant atmosphere and clean sanitary facilities. We have a swimming pool, washing machine and bread service. The Rhune train is easily reached by bike via the Rte de la Patrière.

Very nice place! Everything is neat, clean and beautifully laid out. Sanitary facilities spacious and clean. Very hospitable owners. Excellent base for beautiful cycling and walking tours from the camper place. We had a wonderful time there.
