Nice drive in through gorges and greeted with rosemary tea. Opposite the Monkeys Fingers so really good view. The electric is terrible and kept tripping, so wouldn't come if you need electric.

Nice campsite at the rear of a social club. Hard standing pitches with grass area and 16a electricity. Showers, toilets, laundry, dump and water. Central location and an easy walk to the beach. £34 pn (sun to thur) and £36 pn (fri and sat).

Parking at the cemetery with great views. Nice walk down to the waterfall and into the town to see the church and fonts. Definitely worth a stop for the night. No camping activity allowed.

Free parking on large car park walking distance to city centre. Great location for visiting Seville. Quite a bit of broken glass and metal spikes in ground so be careful. No services. Stopped for two nights, the second night was really noisy due to a group of kids shouting and playing loud music from their car.

Well maintained motorhome park surrounded by nature. Nice welcome from the owners who showed us to a really spacious pitch. Paid showers, toilets and laundry. Decent Wi-Fi around the site. Walked into Sāo Brás (30 mins) which has supermarket, bars, restaurants and shops. We’ll definitely return, for longer next time.

Motorhome parking on the outskirts of Tavira. €9:50 for one night without electric. All services available, paid showers and toilets. Large gravel pitches. Walking into Tavira which is lovely and definitely worth a visit.

Parking next to the river and walking distance to town. Arrived and was informed by the reception that it was full (despite there being places). Tried to park nearer the town without joy so returned and was now available. You pay the reception 0.50 each for tourist tax and 5.00 at the machine on exit. The town is nice for a visit with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants.

A great place to stay for a visit to Porto. A 5 minute walk to the train station then 25 mins to Porto São Bento. Buy ticket from machine and ensure to validate before boarding. Only €3 per night and €2 for electricity. Service point area to use for free.

Black and grey waste, water and electric paid. €15 per night (cash only) is reasonable for a city centre. No one on reception you have to ring the bell which is not clearly explained. Gentleman who seemed like a long stay was really rude explaining this.

Four spaces amongst the canals at a marina. Have to call on arrival for entry code and a man calls for payment. Spaces are a good size and level, loud tmusic from other people at the marina. Toilets and showers (0.50) available, black waste in toilet but nowhere for grey waste. €20 for what is a space at the end of the car park is too much.

Camping spaces on a working dairy farm with the smells and noises associated with it. Good size pitches and grassed areas. Services available and good showers/toilets. Nice cycle routes.

Nice little camper stop located 10 minute cycle to the centre of Maastricht. Level pitches, quite close together. Services available electric, showers and water paid for. Pay at machine at the entrance.

Camper stop at the side of a busy road, so quite noisy. Also, noise until 10pm from concert across the road. Pitches are not level and spaces are tight (someone bumped our van trying to park in front). No services. Good location to walk to Bonn (1 hour) and to train links to Cologne.

Camper stop next to the river for €10 a night. Paid electric and water, free to dump. Walking distance to train station then 10 mins to Kablenz which is lovely. Noisy with trains passing on bridge and river barges throughout the night.

Well maintained motorhome stop. Pitches required ramps as not level and are quite close together. Reception was locked when we arrived but we found our reserved pitch and paid later. Showers / toilets still closed. Water / electric paid for. Nice little port close by with lovely restaurants. Walking distance to bus (5) and 10 mins to Wiesbaden which was lovely.

Camper stop within walking distance of airport and trams. €10 per night which is ok, pay for electric and water. There was quite a bit of noise until early hours but got to sleep eventually. We got tram 6 to Mannheim which was worth a visit for a few hours.

Great little place on the outskirts of Baden. Only €12 a night with large flat pitches and services (electric and water paid for). Walking distance to bus stop, and 10 mins to the centre. Due to road works it was a bit of a pain to get to.

Free parking for 6 campers amongst greenery. Spacious level pitches, pay for electric and water, grey and black waste free. Walking distance to Lidl and train station where we caught the train to Augsburg and we’re pleased we did as it was lovely.

Parking at the speedway for max. 2 nights. No services, parking available for 3 or 4 vans. Quiet night with only one other van. Walking distance into town and to the train station where we caught the train to Munich for the day.

Arrived on a very busy public holiday, everywhere full including here. The staff went out of their way to find us a space (not a pitch). Huge campsite with all services required. Located on the the lake and 10 minute cycle to Lechbruck. Quite expensive at 34.80 per night without electric but there is a cheaper motor home stop next door that they run. Overall had a great stay. Great camper stop with beautiful surroundings. Air conditioned sanitary block which is modern and spotless. Really friendly lady who checked us in. Pitch with water and electric. Lovely little cafe for food and drinks.

Lovely site on Lake Como. Greeted by the friendliest and most laid back owner (Andrew). Beautiful views and right on the lake / cycle path. Really quiet day and night. Stayed at the back of the site with no electric for €24 a night, which on Lake Como is reasonable. Would definitely stay again.

Parking area on the outskirts of Milan. Perfect for visiting the city (10 minute walk to train station, 2 stops on train, then 3 stops on tram) and you’re right in the centre. Friendly welcome and flat pitch at the back of a storage area. Showers, toilets and services. It’s not the best and is quite expensive but you’re paying for the safety of leaving your van whilst in Milan. We would use again.

A nice campsite situated in Pegli on the outskirts of Genoa Checked in by a really friendly and helpful lady (Ewa). All services and clean hot showers. Bread service available. Purchased a 24 hour ticked from reception for all trains, trams and buses (4.50€). Easy to travel into Genoa and had a great time in the city.

A great campsite in Cagnes sur mer. On arrival we were greeted by Ann the owner who was friendly and extremely helpful. Only €20 per night with acsi, we ended up staying for a week. Good facilities, pitches are a good size and a pool. 10 minute cycle ride to Cros de Cagnes train station. We went to St Tropez, Antibes, Cannes, Nice and Monaco all beautiful.

Great aire located in walking distance to Ste. Máxime. €10 per night, ticket taken at entrance (services outside to fill up/empty before entry). Y across the road, supermarkets nearby. Lots of space and felt safe. Next to a busy road, but quiet at night. Ferry to St Tropez but we cycled (about an hour). Would recommend.

Parking on an aire in a small village. Payment via machine to get entry code (easy to use). Quite secure being fenced and gated but you could walk in next to the gate. Tarmac surface but required levels. Services and electric included. Was quite noisy from school and arena next door. Bus stop outside gate for Montpellier (32 to Garcia Lorca then 11 to Observatoire - €1.60 each on app). Make sure you get ticket, we got €72 fine!

Parking on an old football ground. Parked with lots of other vans and felt safe. It looks like the original parking area is now used for cars. The service area is working with free dump and water (0.50). Quick walk into the town but not a lot going on there.

Parking at the football club, for only €2 per night. Ideal location for beach and town, which is lovely. Apartment blocks being built nearby so can hear some noise (along with the barking dogs) but not too bad. Some reviews state motor homers being fined by the GNR even though private land and having permission from the vendor! We stayed with several vans and no issues.

A large parking area situated about 1km to Lagos. We parked with at least 30 motor homes and felt safe. We really enjoyed Lagos and the marina. There was a lot of noise early in the morning from the stadium. There is a closed down services point but you can still dump grey waste (black waste can be dumped at nearby BP station). A good stop which we would use again.

Fantastic facilities, this site has everything you need. We stayed for one night and didn’t really use any of them so value for money wasn’t great (€26). It’s an amazing site for families that stay for a holiday. Not a lot going on in the local area but Praia da Luz and Lagos are not far.

Hard standing free parking at the mini Hollywood themed park, campers allowed to stay the night. The park / zoo was definitely worth a visit. We paid extra for the buffet which was ok and worth the money, but was a free for all trying to queue for the food.

Advertised on camper contact as €8 per night, it is actually €20 per night for the first 3 nights (then 8€). Check in was a farce and took at least 30 minutes. Went into reception and was told to wait outside for 5 minutes as was busy. Went in again and told me to go into shop next door to check in. Was then told to walk and find pitch, gave a list of free pitches (many were occupied). The site is mostly long stayers and looks like a shanty town

Parking at the beach with several other campers. No facilities but nice for a night. A few chiringuitas and a small supermarket nearby.

Parking at the port with no facilities. Great location to walk into the city. Cost €6.55 for the night which is great for a city. Felt safe with plenty of other campers, floodlights and cctv. The only issue was the noise, very busy until the early hours with fisherman and people around the headland. Advice is to park just past the fence/barrier as it’s quieter than at the headland.

Car park situated in the old town, Mojacar Pueblo. Ideal to walk into the pretty village. Was quite loud with people returning to their cars around 12:30, and bins emptied early hours. Other than that it was ok for a night.

A fantastic site situated just outside Puerto de Mazarrón. Nice size pitches (separated by palm trees) with flowers and olive trees. The site has a really quality feel. Nice and friendly staff at reception. Lovely bar and pool area. Six grey waste and four black waste means no waiting. We’ll thought out and a bargain at €12 per night. Probably the nicest site we have stopped on. Thanks

Orange Grove is a lovely site situated up the hill from Albir. The staff are friendly and helpful and the facilities are good (including a pool). Pitches are a good size and toilets / showers are very clean and hot water. Bit of a walk to the bus stop then number 10 bus into Benidorm.

Parking on level tarmac pitches with a service point. Felt really safe, there were a lot of motor homes here by the evening so arrive early if possible. Perfectly situated next to the tram that takes 10 minutes to get into Zaragoza, which is a lovely city.

Motor home parking with services to empty and refill. Situated on the top of the hill near the castle, gets a bit windy! Allowed to stay 72 hours but no camping activities. A great place to stay for the night. Lots of restaurants in the town.

Only issue was they starting strimming early in the morning and around motorhome with bits flying into motorhome.

Site was quite full. we were directed to park by a staff member, got all setup went for a walk then told we had to move back by another member of staff. This meant we were sticking out into the exit road and didn’t feel safe to leave the mh in case anyone bumped it leaving. cost is now 8eur with electric and we have stayed at better free places.

Fantastic stop with services, electric and good Wi-Fi for 9.50 per night. Carlos greeted us and was one of the friendliest welcomes we have encountered. Right next to beach and great facilities. Carlos comes round and takes bread order and delivers in the morning. Came for the night and stayed for 4 nights.

New area at the back of a retail park. You have to download pverde app to get in but we were greeted by a lovely lady who helped us. They are putting in a shower block and laundrette during the winter which will be good. Fastest wifi we've had since we've been travelling and all facilities brand new. It was 20km from San Sebastian which is worth visiting. A bit of early noise from local cockerel and industrial unit next door but other than that a really good stay.

Stayed here as milady site showed full (although loads of spaces!). Tight entrance / exit, uneven parking with low trees. People obviously staying on there long term. Really tight to use waste / water and nowhere to empty cassette (people were putting down grey waste), we used public toilet opposite. Good location for Milady beach and getting into Biarritz which was beautiful. Expensive for what it was, but nowhere else to stay.

Not a camping spot (signs saying reserved for high school). Stayed one night, was great location to walk to beach and town. Massive pine cones kept dropping on the camper which woke us up.

No facilities, although we were offered water and bins to leave rubbish. Free parking on a vineyard. If no-one there email from details at gate. Marie the owners daughter then came and gave us a wine tasting which was fantastic and she was very knowledgeable and friendly.

Parked here by mistake (should have been l'escale 100m away). This was more a campsite than a camper stop, it was really tight to get the camper in and parked. This was the most expensive site we stayed at but definitely not the best.

Nice site with new pitches. Pitches were for 2 campers (not marked out so other people were taking 2 pitches). Really noisy music from nearby campsite on one night, but others were ok. Walking distance to the beach which was really nice.

Good location to visit Perigueux, next to the river. Spaces were quite tight with larger camper. Site was a cut through for local residents but felt safe enough. Facilities were all good.

Had the most amazing stay here. The parking isn’t very level and no facilities (otherwise it would have been 10). The reception from the hosts was exceptional and they took the time to give us a tour and tasting. Beautiful setting sleeping amongst the vines.

Stayed here by mistake, should have stayed at Aire de Camping-Car l'Escale de l'Ile (100mts down the road). A lovely campsite with great facilities but expensive for what we wanted. Close to a lovely beach. Tight to get around in large camper. They do have camper parking next door which we found out was a lot cheaper but no electricity.

The payment pole was out of order so free. There is a motor home service point and electric (although not enough poles). It is in a good location to visit the town and beach, with a Carrefour nearby. Quite a bit of noise from neighbouring businesses early in the morning.

No a bad spot for a night. Close to city and short drive to Le Mans race track. We had really noisy neighbours playing loud music all night, with lots of dogs, but don't let this put you off I'm sure they've left now.

A nice little place to stop near the river. Electricity was an issue as not enough plugs and really spaced out so middle parking spots could not reach. Basic services and the Wi-Fi did not work. Don’t let this put you off though, we enjoyed our stay and cycled into Angers which was lovely.

First stop in France and couldn’t be happier. Same facilities we were paying three times the amount for in UK. Good spaced pitches and local amenities close by. If all our stops in France are this good we’ll be happy campers.
