Completely full at 3pm on a Monday in August.

Lovely campsite. Yes it’s a little dated and there is no WiFi. But you can stay on green grass, under shady trees and there’s a river you can cool off in (even with a sandy beach!) The lady in reception is very nice and friendly. Very peaceful night. Sanitary facilities were dated but spotless. €23.90 with electric. We would stay again.

Very pleasant campsite. Quiet out of season but indoor pool still open. Friendly and helpful reception. Shower block immaculately clean. Would have given 5 stars except not so easy for getting into centre of Madrid.

Convenient to visit the historic city and felt safe. But zero shade at all so not good for leaving pets on a hot day in your MH or camper! We moved on to the Baeza stop for the better shade and place to spend the night. But just to visit the city it’s fine.

Fantastic spot to visit the beautiful UNESCO city of Baeza. If you arrive early you can choose the shadiest spot. We had very little noise from the bus station or sports centre and slept very peacefully. Easy walk into historic centre. Thank you to Baeza for this free camper stop

Great stop for towns. However, night road works until 6th October from 22.00 until 7am. We wish that the town had put up signs. Do not stay if you want to sleep during this time.

A quiet and peaceful campsite during off-season. Very friendly staff, and we could choose where to stay. First night we were the only campers there! At night beautiful stars and the sound of the deers and owls in the forest. Sanitary blocks old but totally fine. Camp bar/restaurant. Nice walks nearby. We will come back (but only off season for us, as I’m sure it’s not as peaceful in summer holidays). Thank you Maribel and Allan for a lovely stay!

Great quiet stop all four places occupied so we stopped by the side. No problem. Had a fantastic nights sleep. But we noted that toilets are emptied on each pitch behind the sinks. Then people turn the tap round to clean toilet. Then used this tap to wash dishes and fill water tanks. We were only there one night so did not use this facility for that reason.

A basic municipal campsite for visiting Beja. Yes it’s a little tired and old, but they are currently updating the toilet blocks. English speaking at reception. Easy walk into Beja (worth it for the castle and churches in our opinion). Long cable might be required to reach electric. Quiet at night. For €6.94 all in, I’d say this site is great for one night stop to see Beja. Just don’t expect a perfect campsite!

Nice views and very quiet and peaceful at night. The CP itself is not very pretty but it’s fine for a night. We didn’t use the facilities.

This is a great free camper stop, very peaceful at night and felt safe. Plenty of space. Lovely little hill town to visit, we walked up to the cave houses and castle, very interesting! Thank you Chinchilla for this lovely free camper stop.

A lovely, charming camper stop with very welcoming host. The little swimming pool was very nice to cool off on a hot day, the chirping of cicadas all around. The new shower was also very nice. Please be aware, pets are not allowed! This isn’t made clear here on Camper Contact but it is the rules of the site. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back!

Beautiful little campsite and perfect for the cable car (worth doing for the stunning views!). Campsite very busy in summer. Also the road down is steep and difficult for larger motorhomes. Follow the sign “camping cars” where there is more room for bigger vehicles and then stop to check in at reception. Mostly this is a site for tents and smaller camper vans. Very friendly staff. Showers are dated but very warm!

Beautiful spot at the Château and amongst the vineyard. We were right next to the pond with baby ducks. Make sure you register at reception on arrival, the lady was very friendly and helpful. We had a very tranquil stay here. Superb.

Nice, secure camper stop. Better value if you already have the campingcarpark card. Beside the river and with facilities nearby for kids to play (skate park and play ground). Nice local village. Currently road works happening so not only did we have to do a long diversion due to the road being closed, they also started loud work at 07:45am. But hopefully works will be completed soon. WiFi, Services and Electric included in price.

Fantastic aire! Clean, level and spacious pitches. Easy walk to visit the citadel and town. When we arrived we couldn’t enter barrier as the machine was out of paper for tickets. A friendly French person helped us ring the Marie and someone came in 5 mins to sort it out. Thank you Blaye for a great service.

Lovely campsite amongst the forest and by the river. Very peaceful, hot showers, great paella at restaurant. Friendly reception. We want to return. Only downside was ACSI was not accepted in low season.

Great stop! The Azacabar is interesting and so is the church (just look up at the ceiling!!!) The town is lovely and everything is walking distance.

Pleasant camper stop right by the beach. It’s basic yes, but perfectly fine for a few nights and to visit the nice little town. We were given a friendly welcome and shown a few different pitches to choose from. Shower was lovely and warm. Would stay again.

Very pleasant camper stop. Friendly staff. Pitch wasn’t the biggest but was large enough for us and didn’t feel packed in. Easy tram into Alicante and beach just a short walk. Peaceful at night. Would definitely stay again. Booking required!

Plenty of parking right by the beach, many motorhomes and camper vans parked everywhere. Lovely sea view. Many walkers and cyclists. Restaurants and bars 10 min walk away. Feels safe, Guardia Civil drive by occasionally. We had a car with loud music at 10pm right next to us but they left after 30 minutes and the rest of the night was very quiet. Please note, off season some of the public toilets are locked up and out of use.

We stopped to have lunch but unfortunately it was closed on a Monday. Plenty of space in a small field and there were already 4 campers staying. Interesting place with old American cars. It looks like they are building a proper motorhome site there with pitches and electric. Perhaps will be open next year?

Having paid the entry ticket for the shows, you can stay here overnight, right next to the horses and donkeys. Very peaceful at night and wonderful view of the stars. The western theme park itself is a little old and faded but that adds to its charm. The actors in the shows are very funny. It’s worth the entry price… just.

Car park to visit the lovely little hill town. Short walk to the elevator to take you up into the town. Very quiet now in winter and on Sunday everything was closed except one Italian restaurant on the Plaza Neuva. We stayed the night here and it was peaceful. Busy in the morning with school nearby.

Stayed 10 days which is a good deal price wise. Super helpful staff. Big pitches with grey drain and fresh water! Wifi really good and only 50c a day for two. (available everywhere) The longer you stay the better the price. Yes there is an airfield next door so the planes should not be a surprise?? We love them it’s better than an alarm clock!

Good for visiting waterfall. One night would have been enough. Waterfall is worth a visit €4 . But campsite was €30 a night with EHU in November!!!! So the prices here must be very wrong or EHU is €10 a night!!!!! The black and grey water all go in a drain which stinks, full and open. The people are nice just the site is tired and very expensive.

Great stop over absolutely loads of space …. three huge car parks ones to the left seemed quite busy. So want to the right. walked the beach and looked at the huge waves crashing …. will be back

A very nice motorhome stop, with very friendly staff. Facilities good, though WIFi not free. Spacious pitches. Easy walk to beach. Bread van comes in morning. Yes there is some noise from the jets coming overhead, but we soon got used to it and it did not bother us. Can buy your propane gas here too. Thanks for a great stop! Will stay again.

This is a lovely motorhome stop and very convenient to visit Valencia. No idea why the negative reviews (“refugee camp”?!?) the site has a lovely feel, spacious pitches and good facilities. Easy cycle routes on flat cycle paths. Some road noise but did not bother us and very quiet at night. Would be nice if people followed the covid rules and wore masks in the facilities as signs ask. Staff keep everything very clean. Will return!

Great place to stop for a visit to La Roche …. the card machine has run out of cards so we rang the number and were let in. Road noise in the morning but it’s by a road 🤷🏻

We only stopped for lunch and it was full of German vans and one Brit van. It’s a really nice spot and we would defiantly stay next time IF there is any space 😂😂 ... worth the 30 minute drive along the spit to get to the quiet end. Lovely!

It’s a free carpark between the beach and the sea. If you like cars noise (ear plugs help) and you enjoy jet fuel smell and planes taking off very close then this is the place for you. Could not see any facilities or bushes so best for self contained vehicles. One night was enough

Excellent! We parked next to the hut so away from the main road and it was really quiet at night. Ronda is a lovely little town to walk around. WiFi was excellent.

Parked on row over to use (patchy) WiFi so we figured we would pay the cost of 2 coffees. Really quiet at night. Good facilities. Easy walk to Lagos which is nice for an afternoons exploring. Not quite as “hip” as we were expecting more like “hip replacements” so didn’t go out Saturday night for “haggis bombs” (Iron bru and Yeager 🤮). Each to their own. Circus is in town from Monday 11th November

Stunning place! Spent two nights here chilling and walking. Waking up in the morning to stunning views only spoilt by idiots squatting behind bushes. Those dunes are not your toilet. Perhaps they should ban day vans and only allow self contained vehicles like in NZ to stop the stupid ruining dunes and nature.

As everyone has said really lovely site. Loads of room in November and we even had a beach picnic! Great walks alone the cliffs ❤️❤️❤️ this coast line! Great value, lovely staff. Hot water takes a while in the shower is the only minus point!

It’s a carpark full of MoHos. Easy walk to town. Which is worth an afternoons visit. Road noise is present but earplugs help. Basic facilities that we didn’t use. Luckily we parked is one of the rows with trees so larger vehicles were restricted and we didn’t get cramped in like sardines like everyone else. Would not want to be here in high season. Cool mix of people for a change.

Great free stop was full on arrival but we tucked on the grass end end with chucks. Lovely little fishing village to explore enjoyed watching the rowing practice and fishing boats go out. Sad to see so many exotic birds in cages with concrete floors at the “zoo” (just our opinion) However, we are, thankful to the local Basque community for providing a quiet free stop.

Good for visiting Marseille luckily it was not busy so room to breath and WiFi good. We only stayed one night but very quiet at night. You need to plan you route in as roads are narrow. No problems.

Only use the facilities which were dirty but OK wouldn’t pay to stay. We stayed at the free campspot more room and nice walk to town.

Great stop for Arezzo what a beautiful place! Short walk into town. Stayed and were able to sit out in the heat as was everyone else. Quiet at night. Used facilities at paid camping next day but glad we didn’t stay at that one.

Perfect to visit Pistoia. Didn’t stay the night but we would have felt perfectly safe doing so. It’s a big car park on both sides of the road lots of room and shade.

Nice stop by river. Electric out of order when we were there. Facilities clean, Geese all present and lively! 😂 The food at TimOrso was great for the price, good value and had vegan options! No English but I have some Italian so no problem. The local OAPs were out in force enjoying the coolness of the evening and the river. Lots of early morning shade which makes a big difference. Great 4 free!!!

Nice staff, nice beach, clean facilities. We chose a spot in the shade rather than sea view with full sun 😂. Road a little noisy. Nice beach and lovely town. Only complaint was the signal strength of the WiFi for a site that big makes for planing our trip difficult.

Avoid Avoid! Web says to book via WhatsApp Kiristijan confirmed a place for 2 night. When we arrived Diana showed us a muddy spot near the entrance which was on such a slope we would never have been level. She was not keen to have us 🙄. Everyone was packed in like sardines. Went up road to Kamp Indije instead and we have a huge spot very peaceful same price near the beach 😂 😁🙏🏼 nicer place ❤️

Bled is so busy that we took the first spot we could get here. Tip if you want morning shade try to park by trees. OK for one night and easy walk to Bled. Services excellent. Can be noisy and extremely busy. More than enough electricity and water (you need to scan yr bar code). Machine takes exact cash only.

Bargain! Very quiet weekend here wonderful cycling along the river! There are even places on the stream you can sit by the water. Great stop before Slovenia. Thank you to the local council for providing.

Excellent for visiting Telc we did not stay the night as the spaces felt too small even for our van.

Great to visit Wein as near Ubahn. Good sized pitches. Friendly staff. WiFi only available at the office. Also beware the drinks machine if you want to buy out of date products!!! Go to the Spar up the road.

We were late and had tried everywhere else. Someone was leaving and we were exhausted from driving around. Only quiet you might get is 00:00-05:00. Two pin electrics can’t borrow adaptor wld have had to buy 4 €25. U wld get a better nights sleep on the central res of the M25!! 😂 What a dump and people still sit outside eating in the pollution 😂. Only good for visiting town. Save your money!!

Fantastic free place! Clean toilets (please leave a few € in honesty box for upkeep). Loads of wildlife, great cycling and so peaceful we stayed Friday and Saturday, kicked back, watched the storks, deer, birds, bats, horses and hares! Had a wonderful 3 hour cycle! Thank you Rürstädt.

Stayed for midsummers night w/e great site! Simple check in by machine. Toilets and showers very clean. The laundry is a bargain but you have to book your slot. Right next to the lake for swimming. Great staff. However, the generous sized pitches need a bit of TLC and the WiFi drops out every few minutes and you have to log back in with UN and PW. PITA when you are trying to do travel plans. 🙄🙄

Didn’t stay as really not worth the money for a visit into town. Noticed the pitches are big so great for those oversized MoHos 😉 Park next door for free during the week! Lovely views across the water ......

Lovely spot near the water with an amazing park to walk round and wetlands watch out for mosquitos. There are 10 spots we arrived at 5.30 so they had all gone. Lovely parking warden knocked at 8am and asked to move. They helpfully informed us that we could park in the side streets provided we didn’t block drive ways. 2 others asked to move as well. Happy to move & leave spaces for the BIG MoHos

Lovely site with helpful and friendly staff! Stayed two nights (early June) pitch 14 first night but moved to 17 when we decided to stay another night as 14 was booked. Beware after rain the grass pitches become boggy 😂! We got stuck but not for long thanks to the helpful staff. Bus into Bergen is once an hour and may be too full to stop. Showers 10NOK but last ages and nice and hot.

No facilities BUT we came off the most stunning mountain road and found this place .... lots of campers but didn’t feel crowded. OMG perfection ❤️❤️ 🇳🇴 best nights sleep ever so quiet and peaceful

Another beautiful mountain road up to this spot ... near top of the Trollstigen. There was still some snow but the sun was shining enough to sit out (some people sunbathing) and even dip in the lake (brrrrrr). No facilities. Beautiful quiet night. Great stop before the Troll rd which by 9am car park jammed with campers and coaches..... do it early (we did it three times b4 it got too busy).

Free stop right on the lake with amazing walks and amazing railway museum!! Toilets and big recycling bin (NOT for household). Interesting “open” air museum of old buildings leading to main museum. Fantastic area!

Big car park next to a lovely park. Which alway makes us wonder why people get their chairs out and sit in the car park!??? Fine to visit Aahaus (30 min walk). On and the Zircus is in town until 30 June 19. Slept well and used the marina for grey water.

9/6/19 nice stop on a rainy evening. 10 vans in total but all parked around the edges with space. Except for the German van that drove in and parked side ways at the marina edge, blocking everybody’s view!! If they had parked by the playground we could have all had a view. I am always astounded by others behaviour 😂😂😂🙄

Stayed two nights. Great site for exploring area and right by estuary. Camper van pitches along one side and we were a bit near the bin area (which was tidy) but then we booked late. Facilities SPOTLESS! The cleanest showers and toilets I have ever seen!!!

31.5.19 arrived late so only paid €3 walked around Lübeck all evening and saw all the sights. Lovely streets and architecture. Well worth a visit. The camping park is just that a car park. Traffic noise most of the night but considering it was a Friday not too bad. But too crowded in for us if we had known we wld have come earlier and found somewhere else to spend the night..

Stayed two nights late May. Great spot to watch the storks nesting on top of the visitors centre! Stork TV! We could sit out and chill. Lovely village with friendly people. Great cycling along the Elba. We were there on Mother’s Day and there was a lots of gatherings on our cycle route! Everyone was having a great time. We would highly recommend this spot and did I mention STORKS!!! ❤️❤️

Stayed 26/3/19 great site elec and water €1 quiet night loads of space, park, playground, basket ball hoop, picnic bench, table tennis, football and a static gym!!! All for free!! AMAZING!

24/3/19 - Stayed on a quiet Thursday night ..... great spot by lake I can imagine it gets busy at the weekend when the weather is better.... nice to get chairs out for dinner and breakfast. Lots of space and the lake is wonderful for swimming in. Bonus it’s just outside Berlin so you cld get the train in!! 😃

22/3/19 Nice for overnight stop lovely view over fields. Picnic bench and BBQ. We only filled up with water but facilities looked very clean. There is also a “donation” box if you want to pay something for your stay. Only is and another couple when we stayed so very, very quiet.

Excellent free stop over for visiting Europa Park (20 minute cycle away). We stayed 2 nights. It’s clean and feels safe. All paid for facilities work really well. 12 hook ups when we ran out of credit and everyone had gone we just switched to one with some credit left! Bonus 😃 You can hear the main road but it’s really not that bad. Ear plugs for sleeping if it bothers you.

Gets busy with commenters parking their cars but possible to bag a spot. Easy walk into Ulm and well worth a visit! It’s very peaceful and has all the facilities for water and waste. Not illuminated but felt very safe.

13/5/19 Stayed here one night so peaceful and an easy walk to the local supermarket. Lots of walks and cycle paths in the forest. Really worth the stop for the forest alone. No facilities and no illumination but perfectly safe .... keep an eye out for the local wildlife 😉

After driving in and not liking this spot we stayed at Sushi and Nem which is not on this app. Excellent facilities and big spaces!!

Free parking during the day for up to 4 hours which is plenty of time to visit Trento .... just put the time card in your window. Only 5 places. Easy walk into the lovely town.

Good for easy walk into Innsbruck. Luckily the club was shut and the night was quiet ish only a few people standing in the dark by their car talking at midnight. 😂😂 The roads and train are very noisy so keep your windows closed but it gets quiet from around 1am till 6am ish. Ear plugs a must.

So close to lake for FREE! That’s a 9! Very quiet apart from school drop off but so what. Perfect to cycle round Garda which isn’t that easy as so many campsites (where everyone is crammed in) don’t give access unless you are staying but worth finding your way down to the shore. Go Sth on the cycle path then down by Movie World keep on shore on way back! Local village is lovey. FREE and peaceful.

4/5/19 only parked for walking into Firenze .... felt safe, just a car park. Easy access to town (30min walk).

FREE stop with FREE electrics! FREE dumping, fresh water on tap. Not sure about black waste in that small grill. Now what about that view! Medieval town on the cliffs with little windy roads to explore so beautiful. Thank you to the local council for providing this wonderful spot. Great spot just stopped for night got v busy with vans parked for the ferry ..... beautiful bay and beach 🏖 nice little town. I can see it being heaving in the summer months and it’s quite chic as well... La Dolce Vita!

Stayed 27/4/19 after trying another spot ... if coming from South don’t follow Google Maps as it cannot tell road from track! Beautiful spot! Beautiful beach and no sign for paying. I guess you only pay high season 😃. Wild and windy great nights sleep with 3 other campers. There was a wedding when we arrived what a lovely atmosphere ❤️

Another wonderful spot! Lovely beach, great walks, fantastic place to spend Independence Day! The bins get full so best take it with you and recycle (not everyone does!!). Also cld not find a waste point?? I also suggest people find a proper place to discharge not just in a drain on on the ground! (Grey and Black). We all owe it to each other and locals to behave.

Parked here to walk to city and explore but as we were the only camper there plus the noise of the road decided to move on to the paid parking. We also scoped out the stadium which has loads of parking but again no other campers ..... which is a shame.

Packed in like sardines even tho it was quiet. After being shown where to park we turned around and parked “nose to tail”. At least we could all then get out of our vehicles. The boys who work here are really polite and helpful,l. Showers are OK for 50c you get about 1 minute. This site is a colossal rip off. Park for free in the other and keep each other safe instead.

Approach from North and you need a 4x4 - sand drifts, rivers, washed out road. We turned back as not worth risking damage on roads that are just washed away tracks. A German VW went speeding through but perhaps they don’t care about damage 😂😂😂. Then you pay for parking. Parked in harbour for free 😂😂😂

Great for a stop and €3 for services is still a bargain. I just wish people would be patient and turn their engines off while waiting to use them *cough cough*. As it is Easter (16/3/19) it was really busy with families enjoying themselves. Unfortunately as it got later more and more vans turned up and parked in any gap. If we had had our windows opened we would have lost them 😂

Sat 23/3/18 Arrived but there was an event going on. Used another app and found a great small car park instead and went “stealth”. Next day parked up to go sightseeing. Sunday market on and I think they would have charged us but we were early and parked near other campers......

Stayed 2 nights March 2018 - Really liked this campsite. Brilliant for Madrid metro get the metro pass and use it between you. Everything was nice and clean

31 March - despite what other reviewers have said we found everyone here really helpful and friendly! A good walk into Sevilla (or you can cycle) and you are in the middle of all the tourist spots! Perfect for that and good value. No there are no locks on the loos or doors on the showers but you have all that in your MoHo..... the drive on made us nearly think twice but I’m glad we stayed.

Lovely stop in stunning village. Only one other van turned up. Woke up to the sound of birds singing!
