Booked for two nights, but left after one: the provincial road is so noisy that you can't sleep a wink in a pop-top campervan. The owner insists on a two-night stay: "You should have read the reviews." So, here it is. Well-maintained and clean.

Paid, well-maintained place, but why no toilet building?

great camping, nice reception, spacious sanitary facilities, maybe a bit messy, but really very clean. paper towels, toilet paper, bread service, choose a nice spot yourself and for those who want it: a heated swimming pool. Great camping, really.

We make our choice based on the information in this app. If it turns out at the gate that the prices are much, much higher than predicted, then you feel cheated. We have never experienced the five euro booking fee that was passed on. In the end we paid almost 50 euros for 1 night. This is how you learn to spend your holiday in your own country…..

The maximum price for minimum quality. Just as busy as Amsterdam, the facilities are not designed for the number of guests. The grass is more important here than the guests, available fields remain closed to latecomers. Sanitary clean.

the only campsite I know where you can take a shower accompanied by a fado orchestra :) there is music in the sanitary building! Hiking options from the campsite are very limited, you have to get in the car first.

perhaps the nicest camp site in Portugal :) In terms of atmosphere, it comes close to the camp grounds we visited in Namibia. Only the giraffes are missing….

Don't be fooled by the negative reviews. Indeed, we did not find golden taps, but we did find spacious, clean and good sanitary facilities. A hot shower, toilet with paper, washbasins with a soap dispenser (with soap!), hot washing up water and we had a nice spacious place. Lovely meal in the restaurant overlooking the sunset. Why react so negatively?

nice campsite with hot showers. To visit the city, don't walk through the unsavory neighborhood to the Roman bridge, but use the stepping stones in the river. Is shorter and safer. Nice town.

beautiful place, brand new, Joop and Yvonne very helpful. Bread in the morning, drop off for a walk, no effort too much. Sanitary building not yet finished, water and dump of dirty water ready. Nice view, nice town, nice walks. Recommended.

much overdue maintenance, closed taps and toilets. Only campsite close to the nature park. No legal camper spots in the park itself, so no alternatives….

two years ago we had to flee the pandemic from here. Everything made up for this year with a slightly longer stay at this hospitable place in a beautiful landscape.

It is a nice and sympathetic place, beautifully maintained orchard / vegetable garden where you stand on grass. electricity, but no other facilities. Recommended for those looking for a quiet special place

Cheerful, messy campsite. “Just find a spot, payment will come”. Authentic harbor buildings, all kinds of boat projects on shore. No messing around with shower coins, clean sanitary facilities and water and electricity everywhere.

Tip for those who want to spend the night here and make use of the excellent facilities of this service point: have a meal in the excellent restaurant across the street near the harbor. The fish buffet is great and the owner gives you permission to stand right on the water on his property.

Beautiful, well-kept campsite with a phenomenal view of the second highest natural waterfall (they say here). The thunder of the water can be heard over the fjord. Minus: the shower is so hot that it is dangerous, if you turn the tap back to an acceptable temperature, you will only have a thin trickle left ....

No toilet, no shower, no electricity, so called because of corona, ask 20 euros for a night. Shame! Turnstiles to the beach, unable to pay, unfriendly. Better to ignore it

Everything below of previous reviews is true. That high rating is entirely justified. Gwen and Bart are very involved and hospitable, (clean sanitary facilities, ciabatta at breakfast, meat in the evening). The place is fairytale-like: quiet, green, birds of all shapes and sizes, beautiful starry sky, because no ambient light. Beautiful hiking in the immediate vicinity, beautiful lakes, impressive (cork) oaks. It is highly recommended (for a fee) to go into the mountains with Bart and his Landrover. Flowering heather, vultures, black storks. We will definitely go back again!
